I ended up getting some Christmas gifts here. I stopped by the Sarasota Honey Company and the customer service was great and they let me try some of the honeys. I ended up buying a few jars because they were really good! They have a good selection of honeys, I just wish there was more plastic packaging instead of glass because glass can break more easily. The market also had live music and a food truck in the back and a raffle going on. There was a lot of cool things to see at this market and I'll definitely stop by again.

I purchased and paid for a vintaged toy trucks lot from Dawson Reynolds on Facebook Market Place…read moreand never received them. I contacted him and he claimed they where shipped to an eBay customer by mistake and that the package was in route to his home. He told me that he would ship them right back out to me. Once again, not receiving the vintage trucks, I reached back out to Dawson Vintage. It took some time but when he did reach back out to me, he told me that "his father had passed away and he was out of town making funeral arrangements". He promised that he would ship the trucks out as soon as he returned home, even claiming he would video tape the whole process. He also said that he would send additional pieces for my trouble. Stating, "I don't know if I would've been so understanding" To wrap it up, I never received the trucks nor a refund of my hard earned $250 and he stopped responding to me on Facebook Market Place. Not a person/business you can trust. Its truly a shame.

I truly love anytime I get to go and walk around Michael's, whether I buy nothing or I buy $100 worth of stuff I didn't even know I needed. This year, on my last trip to Michael's, I found candy Wafers and decided I was going to make candy for Christmas this year. Had this not happened, I might not have ever known that I wanted to do that! I love the store, the selections that they have of everything, and love the layout. It's always super easy to navigate and find what you're looking for any Michael's. Typically my trip to the store involves going to the yarn aisle, the planner aisle, or the sticker oil. This store gives me inspiration on what I want to do, whether it's in my scrap books, with a crochet needle, or how I want to plan out my year. I will say that the seasonal help is a lot less friendly then there year-round help. They seem to be a little more short and kind with their customers. People seem to forget that we are the reasons that they even have jobs during the holiday season. However I understand they're just temporary help so I don't let it affect my view on Michael's. The store makes me happy no matter what I deal with at the register. If I could give the CEO of Michael's just one suggestion, I feel that you should get a loyalty discount card that is based on how much money you spend. As much as I enjoyed there is always some awesome sale or some great coupon out there that you could take advantage of, there would be nothing better than having a car that allows me to take $20 off my bill on top of everything because I've spent over $1,000 throughout the year. They quoted 5-6 weeks for turnaround times and over $1,000 for what should be a straightforward job. From the start, I had little confidence they truly knew what they were doing with custom framing. In the end, I took it to an independent picture frame shop instead. They did everything perfectly for under $200 and had it back to me within two weeks of drop‑off. Based on this experience, I'd steer clear of Michael's for any custom framing or glass replacement work.
