    Corner picture frame

Took a vintage print in for custom framing. Service was good but forgot to ask about glass type. Did not need matting. Picked up framed print, one corner has scratch or glue showing on front of 2 adjoining pieces. The " no wire" hanging system takes more time, effort and measurement than the old standard wire. Next time I think I will go to a custom shop that only provides this service.

    Every color of the rainbow!

I tried the order online and pick up in store option and it was by far one of the easiest processes ever!

Would leave zero if the app would let me. This store does not stand behind it's own return policy…read more There policy as listed on their website states, "Not every decision can be a winner, and we understand that. That's why we like to keep it simple: if you are not 100% totally, completely, and unconditionally satisfied for any reason whatsoever, let us know! Here at LionHeartHobby.com, you are in safe hands." Purchased and item that you can't tell satisfaction without using it, and then their excuse was, "we can't take it back because it was used." This is why Amazon is taking over, price was lower and returns are accepted. No reason to support a local business when their prices are higher, and they lie about their return policy. Their return policy should just state Caveat Emptor, because when we say if you are not 100% totally, completely, and unconditionally satisfied for any reason whatsoever, let us know, we're just gonna tell you to go pound sand. And those safe hands don't even exist. Any business that can not stand behind it's policies is just lying. And liars don't deserve to be in business.

When I heard about it, I had to stop in because I'm a big tabletop gamer and all-around nerd. You'll find them just past Barton Middle School if you're heading south, sandwiches between a few other shops. The shop is small at the moment, consisting of two rooms of merchandise. One has a lot of in-the-box model sets like fighter planes, vintage automobiles, and the like, along with paints/primers/etc. needed for assembling them. The front room has a lot of fun board game titles such as Pandemic and SmallWorld, even classics like Cribbage and Dominos. They've just begun stocking Dungeons & Dragons stuff-- I couldn't resist... I bought another set of dice and some cool miniatures! Danielle and Rudy are vibrant and excited, willing to answer any questions, listen to feedback, or even just have a friendly chit-chat. They want to know what their clientele is interested in purchasing, so if you don't see what you're looking for, let them know!

Fabrics of all colors and patterns are packed into here, on shelves or even pews, making for an enjoyable browsing experience. They also sell plenty of other useful items/tools for quilting. Many gorgeous quilts hang from the walls above your head, serving as inspiration. If you're looking for inspiration, they also sell tons of pattern/instruction sets, as well as fabric bundles that have the exact right amount of fabric already enclosed. I always like to make my own patterns, but they had a great variety of them at different challenge levels. Everything was reasonably priced around $12/yd. What impressed me most about this shop was its employees, who were very friendly and affable. Their interest in chatting you up about your on-going projects and the like felt genuine, not just a customer-service schtick. The proprietor even showed me her "long arm" machine in the back room, which she had set up actively stitching away on a massive quilt, laying out a stunning stitched pattern. Really neat getting to see it in action! There is also a nice bathroom inside the shop (and more quilts to admire while you go, haha!). Glad to have found this place! We don't get out to Wimberley too often (from Buda), but for sure now that I know it's here, we'll stop in next time we venture by.

I've taken them various photos, art prints, paintings, old magazine advertisements, even some feathers over the years. I frame most of my pieces to showcase the artwork, not to match decor, and they always have great ideas for frames and mats. Whether I go with their ideas or my preconceived notions, the pieces have always turned out beautifully. They are probably not the cheapest option in three counties, but they are professional. I have always been satisfied with their work. You can choose different grades of glass from plain to conservation quality. There are a wide range of prices on framing materials so you don't have to break the bank, and I used some of their bargain precut frames for small things in the past. They complete work in a reasonable amount of time and contact me when any project is ready for pickup. The married couple who run it have always been friendly, and the new lady (assistant or family, I don't know) was very efficient on this last project. She had picked a couple frames out to start and when I showed her the kitchen for which the labels were intended she quickly shifted gears (probably the first time in my life anyone associated me with the word "modern" out loud). She also called me by name when I went to pick up my piece today although it has been a while--I always notice that because it is a skill I know I lack. They also have loose posters/prints available for purchase. They have a good eye if you tell them what you are aiming for--I've admired lots of the waiting projects for people with clearly different tastes than me but which are completed flawlessly--plus it is clear they enjoy their work. I look forward to each visit, which I can't say about every business. I dread the day they retire or move because I like knowing I have a place I trust.

The latest project--I found old vegetable tin labels in a local dollar basket and had them framed to match a specific kitchen.
