Sale item price was not honored at checkout. Sign clearly said $49.99 but was told they made a mistake and would not honor it. Manager was called and after a short exchange she became a little aggressive and rude. Will never shop at that store again. Corporate will be contacted. read more

I went to Michaels' store #2020 on 8/2/24 at approx. 1:20pm to drop off an Amazon return. The package was ready with the exception of tapping the package closed and attaching the label I printed out & had with me. I waited in line, once it was my turn (Sharon - sales associate) told me I had to have the package taped. I said, "no problem" do you sell tape? She advised they did. I asked if someone could grab a roll for me ( I have RA and it is at times difficult to maneuver) she said it would be awhile. I told her no problem and took a seat to wait. Once 30 minutes passed I went back to the register to ask if someone was getting the tape, She told me no - the one girl working in the back was busy (the store was not busy). The Manager (Gary) was also allegedly busy so I hobbled to the back, returned to the register & bought the tape, secured the package & label. The lady was extremely curt, mumbled, and NOT helpful. Before leaving I asked to speak to the manager, Gary but he never surfaced. An Ops Manager, Alex came and listened to my concerns. He never apologized. I will NEVER return to this store. There is no excuse for being rude if you're in a customer service position especially when it was unwarranted. If you are handicapped this associate was unwilling to assist so good luck if you chose to shop there. read more

I brought in a return with a receipt, I didn't have my wallet with original debit card so they said they could only give me store credit. I asked to speak to a manager. He said it was store policy not to give refunds for debit cards as cash. There was only one person at checkout and a line of 6 shoppers waiting to check out. I left and looked up the store policy which states purchases paid by debit card WILL BE REFUNDED IN CASH. I called back, had to wait on hold and inform them of their own policy. They said to come back for my refund and that they were unaware that was their policy. Terrible customer service. Incompetent management. Long wait lines to check out. read more

If you're looking for items to make crafts or school projects, this place has plenty to choose from. One thing I noticed, we're not even in October yet and there were Christmas displays already set up. Sign of the times, I guess. The last time I was here, they had some kind of power failure to their registers and we had to wait for a super-long time to complete the check out process but no such problems today. I was able to find exactly the item I was looking for and they had plenty of cashiers manning the registers which made for a hassle-free experience. read more

I come to this store at least once or twice a week, some of the older employees they have here like to make their own rules when it comes to coupons n sales. I tried to use a joanns competitor's coupon ( which they absolutely take). It was a 40% off TOTAL regular priced purchases and this lady just does not get what the coupons reads even though she said she understood what the coupon stated. She kept insisting that it can only be used one time...which I intended to do...she insisted she can only give me the 40% off for 1 item. I tried to explain to her what (TOTAL REGULAR PRICE PURCHASE meant) but yet she still just scanned for 1 item...just please hear the customer out and know & understand what the coupon means!!! They want their way however makes them feel like they can control you!! BYE MICHAELS!!! read more

This location was very clean and well organized. I happily checked every aisle and found some nice things. I found some things I wanted but couldn't buy, and lots of good ideas. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish it carried fabric but I didn't see any here. read more

Notorious for long lines. It never fails.......I stop by during the evening to pick up one or two things for a project and manage to stand behind someone returning buttons, stickers or glitter!!! Many times I want to hand the person returning items the loose change in my purse, because that's what they're getting back! The staff is usually working in safe mode. went to purchase a mason jar today. two rows of mason jars listed for $2.50 a jar...went up to cashier (believe her name is Kayla- but not completely sure on that). jar rang up for $3.00- i let her know that they are listed for $2.50 and have two rows all listed for that price...her response" they must of went up in price"...she called someone to check on price and said that she can do an over ride for $2.50- but could not take my 40% off reg price coupon now...tell me how this makes any sense? the item is regularly priced at $2.50- my coupon is valid.....I was very disgusted at their customer service and how I was treated.
