The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer questions without making you feel rushed. One of my favorite parts of the store was the extensive bargain bins. If you enjoy the thrill of digging for hidden gems at great prices, you'll want to spend some time browsing them. I also appreciated their fair appraisal service. We came from Miami ready to make a large purchase, but a card we were interested in was priced above its TCGplayer market value despite visible dents and whitening. It was also being sold as Near Mint, which didn't seem accurate given its condition. We pointed out both the condition and the price difference, but they weren't willing to adjust the price, so we passed. If you're shopping here, check market prices and inspect the cards carefully before buying. Personally, I recommend Geekd and Lobo Cards. In our experience, they know their cards, price them fairly, and make us feel confident buying from them. But Layton, definitely seems scalpers

Today, we visited because Tim needed a very specific green paint. After looking for awhile, I found it and it was a good price. The only downside is sometimes the paint prices are way higher that what you will get online (a difference of $5-10$), so we will check forst, and if we can get the same paint for $6, it'll be like $17 here. Which is kinda weird to me because the store is so big, and always pretty active, so it doesn't make sense to have such a significant difference in price. That's my only issue. otherwise, the place is clean, the customer service reps are all very knowledgeable and helpful, and you can expect to have a friendly conversation regarding your purchases. The main reason being that the parking lot is much more friendly, there are plenty of spots, and the store seemed less busy overall. It's located as a standalone which I think is mainly why it's a little less chaotic than its sister store. They have all the same offerings you'd expect to find for this chain. Staff was super friendly and I was greeted throughout my entire store visit. I was offered help twice as well. I knew what I wanted and I grabbed a few things and checked out their clearance sections per usual. They do have some really great deals on summer toys right now at 40% off, which is very tempting given hot Florida days! Instead of taking ownership and helping resolve the issue, CoolStuffInc has been completely unhelpful. Shipping problems happen. Poor customer service is a choice. I thought it would be fun to pick up the model set and build it together, so we headed out to Games Workshop at the Winter Park Village. We were immediately greeted by Josh. Josh possesses an immense game knowledge, as well as an awesome personality. The reason I am writing this review though, I had my five year old with me and Josh immediately engaged with him and invited him to build and paint a model. Josh walked him through the entire model, showed him everything! It was amazing. In conclusion, thank you, Josh! You're a solid dude.

This place is such a cute hidden gem for board game lovers in Winter Park!…read more It's a cozy shop with a small but well curated selection of games. Despite the limited selection, there was a good diversity of different types of games including some of my favorites, some I've been wanting to try, and some I had never heard of! One of the coolest features of the shop is the incredible selection of candles and wax melts inspired by tabletop gaming. Although they are especially exciting for gamers, I think anyone who loves scents shouldn't miss this line. They had a buy 3, get 1 free promotion so we decided to buy 8 wax melts and had such a hard time narrowing it down to just 8! So far I've been enjoying the "Temple" scent in my house but can't wait to use the other 7 and hopefully try some more eventually. I can't wait to stop back in to the Crafty Gamer.
