I shop here regularly, and I am always greeted kindly right when I walk through the door. It is one of the smaller stores so the selection is not always as good as some of the larger stores like the one in Cuyahoga Falls, but they do a really good job with the inventory they have to work with. I'm able to find most of what I want quickly. I find that the store is much better organized than it was years ago. When I'm in a hurry I am able to come in, grab what I want, go through the check out and be out very fast. If you live in the Wallhaven area it's a great place to find a bargain.

From name brand cereal (Kashi) to name brand hair care (Pantene) they usually rival Walmart in pricing. They do offer specialty foods now, such as gluten-free packaged food by Bob's Red Mill. Get on their email list because every 3 purchases, they send you $5 off $15. Staff are wonderful, friendly and can point you to anything you are seeking, just ask.

I knew the repairs to my four necklaces were pretty easy, plus these weren't expensive necklaces, so I was dreading going into a jewelry store and paying ridiculous amounts of money to fix a chain. I emailed around to my coworkers, and one suggested the Bead Boutique. Gathering my poor broken necklaces up, I headed over there one lunch break. The store is, perhaps unsurprisingly, filled with beads. There are also tables set up so that you can make your own jewelry, if you so desire. I showed my necklaces to one of the workers, who promptly got out her tools and went to work, assuring me it wouldn't be more than ten minutes. I dutiful wandered around the store - I had zerooooooo idea there were so many kinds of beads. The lady fixed all but one of my necklaces in about 5 minutes, and then took nearly an hour on the last one. I was getting a little irritated and a little tired of beads, and needed to get back to work (just wait, there is a reason for the 5 stars!). Finally, she was done - apologizing for how long it took and carefully polishing the necklace. She then rang me up. $2.92. That's right folks, for one hour of work and four fixed necklaces, I paid less than $3...and that was just for the two sterling silver beads needed to fix one of my pieces. Three of my necklaces were repaired for FREE - and they offered to teach me how! Stunned, I asked if I COULD pay them more (I know) - she turned me down. Apparently there is a $5/hour labor fee, but she said since it was her fault, she wasn't charging me. This fee really only comes into play when they're making jewelry for you. I will never go anywhere else again to fix my jewelry. The Bead Boutique also offers a lot of beading classes, and every Friday has a free class (you just buy the beads). I'm definitely tempted, if for nothing else than because they helped me out so much.

They have toys dating all the way back to the 1920s, through the golden eras of the '50s, '60s, '70s, and into the '80s and '90s--the stuff we now lovingly call "vintage" or "retro." From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars to Marvel Comics, classic board games, and massive collectible statues, the selection is wild. I'm doing a couple of photo dumps just to show people how deep the nostalgia runs there. It's more than a store--it's an experience.
