I've visited their showroom a few times and each time I'm amazed at their beautiful merchandise on display. The owners of Hazel Tree are fun and friendly. They will always welcome you with a smile. I recommend this place if you are shopping for somebody who has everything or just looking for a gift for yourself that is one-of-a-kind.

The photos in the regular gallery are breathtaking and intriguing, and the Vivian Maier exhibit is definitely worth a trip! I can't find a closing date for the exhibit on the website, but it's worth looking into if you enjoy street photography (or even if you just enjoy people). The gallery owner, Tim Belden, is friendly and full of extra information about the artists. The gallery is located in the Canton Arts District, with many other galleries, studios, public art installations, shops, and restaurants in easy walking distance.

Plants and seeds. Work clothes. A huge and varied selection of guns. Ammo, too. And an unusual, almost out of place mini antique shop squeezed in the front. Shopkeepers are alright. Felt a little awkward, but maybe because they didn't really believe I was over 21 when I asked to check out a gun. Will definitely be back here when I'm ready to buy again. And can recommend them for any avid farmer or gardener.

I think this is the first poor review I have written on Yelp. Went this morning with my young…read moredaughter and her friend. We had never been so had absolutely no idea what we needed to do. We were greeted and given a very brief description on pricing and how to wipe down pottery we selected with water. Then told when we were done to pick out paints and they would then tell us the next step. No one explained the next step. I had to ask for additional paint brushes, stand for pottery, how to use certain paints. The store was packed but when paying $55.00 for two items of pottery I feel things should be explained. The people we met up with ended up using the "wrong" paint on a piece she spent $30.00 for. She wasn't able to even finish it the way she had hoped for. Overall I would imagine if you knew what you were doing it would be a nice time. Not impressed

Upon entering, you are instantly swept away and taken back to the good 'ol,days when houses had character instead of the boring mass produced crap companies build now. You're encased by beautiful woodwork and distracted by the beauty of the many colorful stained glass work (neither for sale) throughout the store. However, the over-the-top pricing will have your eyes bulging out of your head quicker than a hard on. What I saw was NOT antiques but mass produced replicas. Don't get me wrong, if you have the money- lots & lots of money & enjoy fashions similar to that of New York or Paris runways then you'll drool over their extravagant shoe collection and day dream about sporting that $300.00 plus dollar white womens coat in the window then you've found one of the few places in Ohio where fashion is truly appreciated. But again, everything in that store is a replica and not an actual antique, although the name implies otherwise. They offer a huge variety of jewelry and handbags in every color as well. What they fail to offer is a simple hello ; as I was browsing the store for a 1/2 hour not one associate said "Hi" or asked if I needed help (considering that almost every single shelf in the store has a sign stating that you need to ask for assistance if you wish to see an item in that store; you think staff would be more available). I did however, find myself finally greeted as I was very obviously leaving; go figure. So again, my rating might not be fair but I also hate wasting my time.

What had been a dilapidated, ghost town is now alive with energy, restaurants and activity. He joined ArtsinStark with the Chamber of Commerce and they work together to raise a 3 million dollar anual budget. They receive no government support and conduct an annual Arts Campaign for this 42-year-old foundation. ArtsinStark awards grants, 92 cents of every dollar goes back into programs and the monthly First Friday celebrations which feature many art galleries in the district. Galleries include: Journey Second April Acme Artists The Color Shoppe Sue Steiner Pets and many indivial artists who rent space in these and other galleries. Also music, food and dancing. Mr. Hankins also works as a talented event planner and public speaker. People are moving downtown and hope springs eternal!
