I was recommended to Sew Whats New by the Babylock company, as my original dealer retired . I…read morereceived the best customer service for my serger that I ever had. Everyone in the store was friendly and knowledgeable. They listened to what my problem was with my serger when it was brought in for repair. Unfortunately the serger had to be replaced. They provided excellent customer service. I cannot express myself enough as to how I felt. I even had a chance to have the owner Linda sit with me and go over my new serger when I picked it up. She is an extraordinary lady, very knowledgeable. Everyone in this beautiful shop was so helpful. I cannot say enough to recommend this beautiful shop to everyone.

This store is owned by Linda and she employees the nicest people. I have called with many questions…read moreand LOVE their fabrics. I bought my Husquavana machine there and went in so they could teach me how to use it as well as the embroidery software I bought with it. My friends and I took a few classes on how to make pocketbooks. Since then, I have developed a fabric addiction and these lovely ladies are happy to supply my addiction lol. Did I mention I LOVE their fabrics? Their website has listings of classes. Many of them close out quickly so don't take too long to decide. I believe they do paid lessons as well.

Always looking for an adventure...As we drove on Sound Avenue on this beautiful autumn day, there…read morewas a small "Red Barn Farm - Shop Open till 3:00 pm" sign. Having NEVER seen this before, we literally had to turn around to check out what this shop could possibly be! Taking the long winding road to the actual Red Bar Farm had us wondering how you get out when only one car can fit on this road. Turns out it's a one way in and one way out so there's no cause for concern about that. It's easy to know you've arrived because upon you spot the red barn the area widens with parking. Once we got out, we were unsure where exactly to go but a friendly Ashley emerged from the small shop across from the red barn directing us to the shop. Once inside, we found this small shop filled with yarn (some from the alpacas on the property), jewelry by AshleyRoseJewelry, dream catchers, crystals, homemade soy candles and more. The highlight of our visit was chatting with Ashley (daughter of the owners) who shared the story behind the Red Barn Farm. With 6 alpacas, who went viral during Covid, they are what drew people to want to visit. For us, it was a small sign on the side of that road that caught our eyes. After our chat, we ventured out toward the barn to see the alpacas, chickens, miniature horses. Additionally there were wild turkeys and a deer just passing through. This little hidden gem is worth a visit just for the story and the alpacas. On a beautiful day like the day we stopped, it's a little slice of country on a farm. And if you are small business supporter, then you'll also appreciate the products that are unique & different. My Theo Snuggles soy candle is like no other.

I took a wonderful tour of Red Barn Farm today! Donna was our tour guide. She was so knowledgable…read moreand passionate about her animals. You can tell how much she loves the farm. I got to feed the Alpaca leafs and pet the mini horses. After the tour we visited the shop and bought some beautiful yarn. It was so exciting to know which alpaca the yarn came from. I also met Ashley, Donna's daughter who also works at the farm and sells her beautiful jewelry there. I hope to visit again soon!
