Wow...this store reviews is very extreme so make up your own mind from your experience. The michaels moved a few stores from the original location. They had a grand opening this past weekend with coffee for the customers as well as cotton candy and popcorn. The employees were friendly and welcoming. Since it's a grand opening, there were various arts and crafts table for the family to participate in. This location has items I haven't seen in other Michael stores. Lots of options. I asked an employee where I could find an item. Instead of pointing to the aisle, she took me to the location and showed me the item. Thank you to the employee! My friend won yarn as part of the raffle. I was hoping for the cricut (though I didn't win -oh well). Go check it out. read more

Great store and selection of seasonal and craft products. But as usual incompetent workers and rude employees. First off an employee dropped their phone/scanning device and waited several seconds and didn't pickup the device. We picked the up for them and the employee didn't even thank us for doing so when we handed it to them and acted indifferent and no acknowledgement of our help. As we left the store with the cart we do what any normal shopper would do which is leave your cart away from other cars and someone likely an employee asked if we could return it to the store, which as a paying customer you shouldn't have too, a cart station should be available or employees should be responsible for returning the cart to the store when shoppers are done loading up there carts. read more

They moved to a new location and seems they went down hill. Store looks nice and clean. Not much of a selection but worst part they got new machines and can only do debt. They ask you to put in your pin #. Not something I want to do. Mostly self check out too. So I put all back and didn't get anything. If this is the way theyer going I'm just about done shopping with Michael's , almost no one working in there. Maybe 2-3 ppl I saw. Pricing is ok not the best but could be worst. Sad to see good places going down hill and closing up but seems they're doing to themselves. read more

Avoid if you can. Called yesterday to have something put aside. After speaking to multiple employees, the phone was given to a young girl who sounded like she could give two sh*ts less what I was looking for. When she told me she had the item, I asked where it would be set aside and who I should ask for tomorrow. I also confirmed the store location which she sounded like she had no clue. Fast forward to the next morning I go in to the store and one of the employees says that it wasn't set aside and I hung up on the girl yesterday. I replied "why would I be here then?" The only reason I'm giving this place 1-star is because the manager stepped up. Will not return. read more

I called and asked if due to COVID they have the same opening hours or are they different. The girl that picked up said no they open at 9 am. I really need supplies so I get there at 9 am and I'm informed that they open at 10. So now I'm sitting in my car writing my first yelp review because I have time to kill. Ridiculous that staff that answers the phone doesn't know what time they open. Too bad you can't give zero stars!!! read more

Ah where to begin. First off I have no issue with the store itself. Lots of varieties of things and they have most of whatever it is you're looking for and I KNOW THE NEW GIRL they just hired there so it's really good... Or at least it was good!! I've never had any issues with this store until tonight!! I go in the store rarely to buy anything, just to use the restroom before I walk home for 40 minutes and get my exercise in for the day but I do buy something on occasion from them. Well tonight I went in to use the restroom after walking/coming back from Country Fair Park for 20 minutes to then walk home the/another 40 minutes it takes to do so.......... Before I enter the store I hear the 21 year old employee say to the 2 bosses outside the store on break "that's him!". I walk past and think nothing of it and into the store to use restroom and after I leave restroom all 3 of them are 50 ft away from the door and confront me and say to me: "you cant use the bathroom anymore. Someone has been destroying it and you're in here all the time so. Its just for people who are shopping and buying." I tell them I'm not the one destroying it and I buy stuff every now and then and have the Michael's membership." They tell me: "if you want you can use the bathroom in TJ Max and some other store" and I happened to mention Target after that (which I shouldn't have).......... So now I'm this supposedly bad guy who destroys bathrooms for no reason LOL. I know damn well they don't believe me when I told them it wasn't me and I bet you after I left they congratulated each other on handling the "situation" well and "solving the problem" at hand . Amateurs(Trumptards in all likelihood!!), you didn't solve a dam thing!! The REAL CULPRIT is still out there and when the bathroom gets "destroyed" again and you see on video surveillance cameras it's not me, I EXPECT A AN APOLOGY face to face from ALL 3 of them ( psh yeah right!!)............. I'm a very nice person but when I get blamed for something I didn't do it pisses me off, which I am now but didn't show to them when being confronted. Its all good though. You know who upstairs knows I'm innocent and that's all that matters to me!! I'll just let karma and fate settle things from here on out.... And yes I WILL come into the store again if I need to buy something. This is America and you can't stop someone WHO IS INNOCENT from coming into your store to shop or use the bathroom just because you're a bunch of paranoid/rushing to find any culprit you can find to put your minds at ease little shits!! read more

one of our all time favorites..... customer friendly courteousness... craftiness for all ages to attain any level of art... additive interior decor touches for your home. school buys ( inexpensive) participate in the community give backs.... all holiday/seasonal festive..... photo frame choices/encasements for sports valuables and showcasing my last visit was highly satisfying.... i watched employee renee handle another customer service process purchase and i'd say bravo for excellence..... maureen sarah brian elizabeth no doubt about it....team working it.. management surely seems to be doing some training for this overall excellence of customer care & satisfaction.... we love it here.... great neighbor shoppings...... parking lots space & layout primo.... very well kept grounds.... how can you not love it!!!!! read more

I went to Michael's to return a frame I recently bought. I had used a 40% off coupon with the purchase. The reason I returned the frame is that all frames are now 55% off. They refused to give me a price adjustment so I was forced to return the item and purchase it again. It was silly, but I went along with it. The cashier called the manager over to help. I explained to her that I wanted to return the frame so I could get the additional 15% off. She, sounding annoyed, said that there was no additional discount. I disagreed. She slowed down and explained to me, as though I was stupid, that I can't double up on discounts. I said that I understood, the additional 15% was enough. She, now clearly frustrated with me, again tells me that there is no additional 15%, that I can only get the 55% off. I agreed, the transaction was complete, and I paid 15% less than the original purchase. This manager was obviously annoyed with me and talked down to me but all she really managed to do was embarrass herself with her lack of basic math skills and zero customer service skills. read more

While taking a stroll through the store on my day off. I past an associate and seem to be manager, and as they past all they did was laugh at me for some reason.... after deciding on my purchase I walk to the register and the manager is hugging another associate.
