As soon as I got back to my friend's house, I realized that I needed a size 2, not the size 5 that I bought. My friend told me she'd return them for me since we were leaving for Virginia the next morning. Well, it didn't matter anyway. I really wish I had known that needles are not returnable when I bought them because the return was refused. I see now that it is clearly stated on the website under FAQs that needles are not returnable. Too bad I can't use them. Actually, I have been knitting for 44 years and this is the first time I've heard of this policy at a knit shop although there are probably some shops that do this...just not any of the ones at which I shop. So, whatever you are buying here, do be sure that you are getting exactly what you need, or you may end up, as I did, with something you don't need.

This behavior made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome, to the point that we decided to leave without completing our shopping. If she was worried we were stealing she could at least be less obvious about it. I hope management addresses this situation so that all customers are treated with respect and made to feel welcome in the future.

World Market is such a beautiful store. There are isles of international cookies, chocolate and other goods. There's also beautiful furniture, pillows and kitchen items. I personally wouldn't invest in a couch from World Market because it's typically very expensive, and you can find similar items at other retailers. But they have unique accent chairs and small attractive furniture items. My favorite thing to get here, in addition to the chocolate, are the Christmas ornaments. They are so, so beautiful, and so unique. There is so much detail in each one. Now that it's after Christmas, they are all 50% off, making each one around $2.50 - $4.00. If you have a World Market in your area, I'd encourage you go and check them out. While some items are more expensive, the unique items, hard to find items and the nostalgic items are what it's worth stopping for.

From the giant brick sculptures to the build-your-own minifigure station, everything in the store was bursting with creativity and color. I could've easily spent hours just exploring. Whether you're into Star Wars, Harry Potter, architecture, or classic sets, there's something for every kind of builder. One of my favorite parts was the Pick-a-Brick wall, yes, a wall full of individual LEGO pieces in every color and shape you can imagine. It's like a candy store, but for builders. I also loved checking out the display sets, they're seriously impressive and gave me a ton of inspiration (and a longer wishlist). The staff were super friendly and clearly just as enthusiastic about LEGO as the customers. They helped me find a retired set I didn't even think would still be available! I walked out with a new set under my arm, a huge smile on my face, and the excitement of knowing I'd be spending the evening building. The LEGO Store is the perfect stop for fans of all ages and let's be honest, building bricks never goes out of style. Can't wait to go back!
