Such a great dollhouse! This place is a doll lovers dream! My three girls absolutely loved shopping here! It's very pricey, be prepared. We also admitted a beloved doll in the doll hospital for repairs. I can tell the owner was nervous, with us walking around her "dollhouse". It was actually pretty funny. *Update I picked up my doll. Renee installed a crying device. I was hoping she would comb my doll's hair and make her look pretty. If I owned a doll shop, I would have. Why not add special touches? Why not put the doll in a pretty box, or bag for pick up? Presentation matters to many. Oh well. read more

This store is a must if you love dolls. It has the cutest dolls and the cutest clothes imaginable. Plus the store owner Renee is very sweet and helpful. Fortunately the store also offers doll repairs and restoration. This is a huge blessing because I thought I would have to send my Cabbage Patch doll through the mail to get her repaired and I was terrified that she would get lost. But I knew Renee would take great care of her. I entertained my nieces with this doll over the years and her eyes had become very worn. Her eyes open and close and rock back and forth, and would not stay still long enough for me to touch them up myself, not that I had any confidence that I could do a decent job. But Renee was able to do the impossible. The doll's eyes look as good as new.. I have attached before and after pictures to this review. When Renee brought the doll out to show me I could not believe what a good job she did. I also bought this adorable "skin suit" which the doll can wear under her outfits to help protect her from getting dirty. I will definitely tell everybody I know about this store. read more

Has a great collection but it is confusing to shop there. Some items have prices but are not for sale. Other items are for sale but the price on the tag does not reflect the actual price. One week an item is for sale, then its not.. eve.n though it is still there and remains unsold. Items for sale are at the whim of the owner. It's unfortunate because I actually would buy something but often the items I want are not for sale (even though they have price tags) or I am told an item I chose is actually a higher price and it hasnt been updated. Any customer service oriented owner would honor the tag price, but not here. read more

do not shop at this store the owner screwed me over in selling me a doll that was used and highly stained and defective. the dolls neck was broken, there was holes in the ears, there was stains on the body of the doll and the owner never disclosed this to us. terrible and sneaky owner - thinking of getting a lawyer involved. read more

What a gem of a shop! Located in what looks like a big Victorian dollhouse, the shop is loaded with all kinds of precious dolls a mix of modern and vintage dolls. So worth a visit. You can tell the passion Renee has for dolls and helping others preserve and grow their collections. My boyfriend who is a sports collectible nut even enjoyed the store and all we did was talk about it on the drive home. Renee fixed three of my dolls and they come out wonderfully with attention to historical detail and the work was finished early and for an affordable price. So glad I discovered this store. It is packed with great stuff. Something for everyone here and it can be a magical experience for children of all ages. read more

I shopped with her today and she got out a pen and started marking up prices for things I wanted to buy that day. Very shady. Disrespectful when all I wanted to do was support her business. Doubling and tripling the prices of items layers and layers of white out. She changed a zero to a 6 right in front of me. I understand this is how she makes a living but to do that right in front of someone watching you. I shouldn'tve even done buisness with her, but I felt bad walking away empty handed. Went in today to buy an outfit for an American Girl doll for Christmas. When I brought it to the counter the owner told me that she would need to tack on an extra charge for the shoes. I showed her the tag price and she then said that these were not the right shoes for the outfit. I pulled up the outfit online and showed her that, yes, they were the right shoes. She then told me "the shoes are not for sale" and gave me a story about someone else purchasing the shoes and she was saving them for her, that they shouldn't have gone on the shelf in the first place, but that she could call her friend to see if she was willing to let them go. She went in the back room to "make a phone call", then returned to tell me that the other woman had paid over asking price, in advance for the outfit. I told her to forget it and walked out. In a five-minute span she changed her story four times, from upcharging the shoes to the shoes being the wrong ones, to not being for sale, to someone else buying them. Judging from other reviews this isn't the first time she's tried this on. I'm not here for a shakedown. If you want more than the ticket price, price the outfit higher. Won't go back. read more

Happy to make what felt like a donation to Calling All Dolls. I was charged almost $50 for my dolls to be returned covered in their same scuff marks that I asked to be removed, and was not offered a refund even though she admitted it was overlooked. Could not repair the broken eye of our Educational Insights doll, which seemed understandable as apparently the doll's structure did not allow for the repair to happen. $50 to add a bit of stuffing to a 9" Corolle baby doll and stitch 10 stitches in the bottom seam of a Waldorf doll. Oh, and $20 shipping. Lesson learned on my end! I would strongly suggest going in person, not shipping anything, so that you can confirm the job was done. read more

Went over the summer with my 4 year old. It's a beautiful shop but I recommend only taking girls 7 and up. Owner asked that we not touch any of the dolls and pretty much kept an eye on us the entire time. For a 4 year old who wants to touch everything in sight it was not an enjoyable experience especially for me! I was stressed that we would upset the owner. Next time I will make the drive to the actual American girl store where we can play and have a magical time. read more

Visited the unique shop with my 7 year old daughter the other day. There were so many unique beautiful dolls that not only my daughter but I myself found several ones we wanted to take home! I know where the next birthday and Christmas present for my daughter will come from! The owner even said she runs birthday parties in the doll shop!!! Love it! read more

I am a vintage doll collector and absolutely love this store! It is packed full of unique dolls from all eras and I always find something to add to my collection. My daughter loves the American Girl items and we often go there for birthday gifts for her and her friends. Renee is a lovely lady and spends quality time with us when we visit, always willing to help and answer our questions. She also repairs doll, and has a doll hospital with actual beds and "patients". My mother in law had her do a repair to an antique doll that once belonged to her mother, and she did an excellent job! The doll came back beautiful - with her hair styled, clothes mended and limbs reattached. If you have an interest in dolls or know someone who does, whether young or old ... they will definitely enjoy a visit to Calling all Dolls! read more

I just called the place with the intention of leaving a message to inquire if Calling All Dolls was interested in buying or taking the dolls I have as I do not wish to keep them. The number listed, was listed as the business number so I assumed I was calling the actual shop and would wait for a return call in the morning. However, I was surprised to get the owner who answered. I said "Oh Hello, My name is McKenzie Chatterton and I was calling to inquire about if you bought dolls from people" and the woman ever so rudely got a nasty tone with me and said "Youre calling ME at 11:15 at NIGHT to see if I BUY DOLLS?!?!" I quickly apologized for the late time for the call as I stated before, I was expecting an answering machine. If you dont want people calling to ask an innocent question, Id advise you list a different number for your BUSINESS and not list your personal cell phone, it would be much more professional. I have gone by this place so many times and thought they might want the dolls but I guess not as the owner said "NOBODY buys porcelain dolls anymore". Well, excuse me. Very disappointed in her behavior, its not professional and I sure hope she doesnt treat her customers this way! read more
