Amy gave me the confidence I needed to dive into the job hunt. The main reason I chose Amy was because of her approach to coaching where she focused on strengths, values and positivity. What I loved the most about working with her was that her recommendations were always based on who I am as a person. She spent a lot of time getting to know me, which helped the both of us become grounded in who I am. She listened to me with energy and without judgement. Although she was technically my "career coach", she organically gave thoughtful advice that helped guide my new life, which I didn't realize I needed until these sessions. When I felt bad about not prioritizing my job search, she encouraged me to take the time I needed to build healthy habits that would stick with me for the rest of my life (meditation, running, yoga). After moving across the country without a secure job and without my family around for emotional support, Amy was really the first person to tell me that I should be confident in the skills I had going into my new life here in Colorado. Above all, she showed me how I can lean into my personal strengths, by helping me see how even my softest skills can be used to make me stand out in the work place. As someone fresh into their career, it was incredibly helpful for me to learn how to tailor my experience & personal strengths to fit the job requirements in even an unrelated field. When there were long periods of time in between sessions and I'd feel unsure again about my decision to quit my job in NYC and move to Denver, I'd meet with Amy and she'd remind me that I am more than capable of making this work. I loved my time working with Amy and feel grateful for the confidence she gave me to succeed!

I had been searching for a number of months with zero responses and getting very discouraged. When I first met Amy she assured me that it was naturally and we began to work on what my personal strengths are and applying those to my job search. We got to narrow down my search based on my preferences on location, industry and position. I think that Amy's best advice was trust the process and take the tools that she gives you and apply them. I'm happy to say that I am now employed with a top 100 tech startup company with an amazing employee benefits package. I attribute a majority of me landing this job to Amy's coaching

Daniel Conroy and his wife Mae went out of there way to make me feel welcome and part of the family. When I began to have trouble, Daniel set up a referral to a hospital setting where I received a clinicial assessment, was appropriately diagnosed and prescribed an appropriate medication. I will always be grateful to Daniel for this. 25 years later I am now a mental health practitioner myself, highly regarded for my clinical skills and my ability to almost immediately form effective rapport with my clients. Daniel was the fist person I can remember who communicated to me in a way that I could understood that I had the potential to do this. Today I learned that AIM House's residential component has been shut down. This makes me very sad but despite that, when I think of how many other people have benefitted from the methodology designed and employed by Dan and Mae, I am inspired to continue my work with, "high risk clients," such as the homeless, clients who are trying to rebuild their lives following long stays in prisons and veterans living with severe mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. I know many who choose to work with, "easier,"clients but I have chosen to do the the opposite because one thing Dan and Mae taught me was that I could do anything I put my mind to if I believed in it enough and could trust those around me to reach out for support when I most needed it.

This isn't just your average 12 step program. It targets the person as whole using practices from eastern and western methodologies. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. I would recommend this program to any young adult struggling with addiction, depression and anxiety. Their willingness to encourage you while still focusing on you achieving and maintaining your recovery makes it a top notch program. Of course, you have to want to achieve those goals in order to make them a reality but the staff's personal experience in addiction and recovery makes this program unique in Colorado.
