5 stars for Rebuilding program, 2 stars for the Dating Foundations Program. I would definitely recommend Rebuilding after relationship loss, but not so much the dating class. Review for Rebuilding: I highly recommend the rebuilding program to anyone going through a divorce or long term relationship separation. This is one of the best investments I've ever made for myself in terms of my own personal development and healing. This is no ordinary "break-up" therapy group. This program really takes you through a deep process of valuable curriculum intended to help you figure out personal patterns leading to unhealthy/unsustainable relational dynamics, and guides you through the inner work necessary to develop a much more fulfilled life in many other areas of your life (and setting you up to establish healthier relationships in the future)! I cannot speak highly enough of the curriculum, structure, peer support, and community here. I have never found it easy to develop community as an adult, especially after the pandemic, and as a result of the group now have solid community with a focus on personal development, fun, and deep connection. I would say what separates this group from others is the deep inner work that the manualized curriculum provides, as well as the unique high touch support the program provides during and after the program. During the program, weekly calls are arranged between yourself and other group participants, and there are weekly social events during and after the group to promote connection and reduce loneliness. Review for Dating Foundations: I joined this with very high hopes to get the same transformation I received from Rebuilding. Unfortunately, my experience with this second class was very different. My feedback for this class, was that I wanted to share some honest feedback regarding the Dating Foundations seminar, which unfortunately fell short of my expectations, especially in comparison to the Rebuilding course. I completed 4 of the 6 classes and originally considered finishing the remaining two in a future cohort, but upon reflection, I don't feel that would be worthwhile given my experience with the first four sessions. The material felt rushed and lacked the depth and integration I was hoping for. In the first class, we spent nearly 40 minutes on introductions, which left limited time for the core content. Additionally, the session ended 30 min early -- despite my clarification about the scheduled end time -- and the remaining material was bypassed in favor of socializing at Niwot Tavern. This set a tone of fragmentation that continued throughout the course. Each session afterward was partially spent catching up on previous material, and there wasn't enough time for meaningful discussion, partner sharing, or integration of the concepts into real-life dating situations. The format made it challenging to absorb and apply the dating theory in a practical way. I felt a lack of guidance in translating the material into actionable steps -- particularly around using core gifts in online dating, crafting a profile, screening for attractions of inspiration vs. deprivation, and developing self-awareness in real-life scenarios. Several members of my RB 128 cohort shared similar concerns, expressing a desire for more depth, clarity, practicality, and a stronger community feel similar to what we experienced in Rebuilding. read more

This class literally saved my life. I was so broken, depressed and lacking the ability to see a brighter future. They told us during the first class that some of these people would be come our dearest friends. I could barely talk. How was I going to make friends? As a professional facilitator I can tell you that Bob and Shea are world class. Week-by-week I did the homework and made a commitment to myself to prioritize this class. It totally paid off. I can't believe the strength I have gained. I actually spoke the words that I was grateful that my relationship ended so that I could see the places where I still needed healing and growth. I am a stronger, better version of myself. And I have a support network that really understand and are committed to continuing the journey. Rebuilders is fantastic. Recovering from a divorce or serious breakup can be foundation shattering. You'll learn so much about yourself and how to heal from this trauma. Instead of getting bitter and blaming your ex, you'll actually heal, which will make your next relationship so much more likely to be successful. As a recent graduate of this program, I really cannot understand what they are getting at with their review. Rebuilders has been such a gift! Because I have graduated recently, I can say that I have a set of deep friendships and a community for a lifetime. That community provides support, laughter, a place where I'm accepted, and a place where I belong. I started this class in such deep grief, and to now be genuinely happy as myself is incredible. The process of the 10 week class is set up in such a way that you are able to experience all sides of loss and all of the gains of rebuilding yourself and your life. The coursework guided by Shea, Bob, and the volunteers can be reflected upon again and again to strengthen the rest of my journey. I can rely on my classmates, and previous rebuilder alumni, to both hold my heart and hold me accountable. Just completed the summer rebuilder's seminar 8 week zoom class. The class is great! This seminar takes you deeper to self awareness and helps you navigate your feelings, pain, and past. Bob and Shae does an excellent job in facilitating the zoom class. In person is probably even more awesome. They are very professional and create a safe place in your healing journey. I wished I would've discovered this seminar after I divorced 12 years ago. It's never too late to start where you're at. I highly recommend it! read more

As someone who was almost 8 years past my divorce I did not know how Rebuilders would help me with a situation that arose involving my ex husband and his son in November 2022 but it far surpassed my expectations and as a result I was able to finally close that chapter and gain a completely new insight into all of the relationships from my past, present and going into new ones in my future with clearer boundaries and a much greater understanding of what I want and need. It is a shame that the new owner does not seem to care about the clients as the previous owner, Norm Gibson did. I am a therapist who has recommended Rebuilding Seminars for years to people who are suffering the loss of a relationship. My most recent referred client has a terrible experience and I have heard of 2 others who recently notified me of the downhill turn the program has taken.
