Laura's awareness of how our Enneagram personalities get in our way has helped us get in touch with our souls-- and our souls' desire to connect with each other. It's incredible to think how much we've learned, thanks to Laura's coaching and unwavering support. Five stars aren't enough. I've had very good therapists over the years, but Laura stands out. Clearly she's living her calling, and we are grateful. We highly recommend her.

His clear and incisive…read morequestions and reflections helped me tap my own deep inner knowing and confidence and get "unstuck" from a project I had been sitting on for over two years. We had four sessions, and I'm planning on continuing with him since what I was able to accomplish in just over a month surprised both of us! One of the insights I gained working with him was that being in action with my primary vision is itself motivating and confidence-building. Doing nothing just kept me spinning in fear and doubt. But getting content out there, noticing how people responded positively, and feeling the gratification of producing something worthwhile - from my heart and soul - was a big boost to my energy and motivation. Now I'm actually inspired to create mediocre work! LOL, I know that's the secret to overcoming perfectionism and procrastination, recognizing that iterating with refinements over what began as mediocre promises to get closer and closer to greatness. I'm deeply grateful for Sasha's support and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to change their life.

Sasha was very easy to talk to, and he gave me small achievable goals. After the first session, I was more effectively managing one corner of my life. Sasha continued to help me explore what was getting in my way, suggested ways to address my focus issues, and gave me goals to help me move forward. After five sessions I was working steadily on three big personal projects, one of which I had only intermittently been tackling, and two of which I had procrastinated on for nearly a year. Not only am I accomplishing more, I feel I'm getting more control over my life, and as a byproduct I'm developing a more positive outlook about myself and what I can accomplish.

Also, on a practical level, Alexa is one of those great "connector" types. She seems to know someone in every industry/company in town (not exaggerating). I'm much happier now primarily because I'm better matched in an industry/role that fits my personality. I strongly recommend Alexa to anyone who's exploring a new career direction or just needs a boost with their job hunt.

About a year and a half later, I realized I wanted to take a new direction with my career, and again I turned to Alexa for guidance. She helped me to identify aspects of my previous jobs that I loved and ones I didn't care for, and expanded my knowledge about what was out there that would be a good fit for me. I ended up finding a job I truly love that combines my greatest professional strengths. I cannot recommend Alexa and Loken Careers more to anyone who is struggling with finding their "calling" or just looking for a better situation. Pro tip: do the homework! ;)

Hunter coached me through this process. I can't say enough good things about her. She is professional, kind, and a fantastic listener. She really listens to everything I'm saying and is able to understand and get at the core of what it is I am saying, sometimes before I even know what it really is I'm trying to communicate. Since she was able to understand me so well, she was able to provide me with good takeaways. She also asks great questions that help reveal more insights. I started going through this process with hardly a guess on what I may want to do next. The Inner Compass Process helped me get very clear on what my values are and what talents I want to be utilizing in my next job. Hunter and I talked together about some jobs that involve these values and talents and now I know which job I want to pursue. I even said I'd prefer to not go back to school and we found a job role with no extra education required. Thank you Hunter!

I've…read morebeen working in the same industry for over 20 years and knew I needed out, but honestly has NO CLUE what I wanted to do with my life. I remember during my initial free phone consult, just feeling so completely defeated with no direction... and after only 20 minutes of talking with Hunter, I felt hope for the first time in years. She has such a calmness and kind heart that made me feel at ease opening up to her, yet an indescribable passion and fire that made me believe that at the end of this, I was going to be able to achieve greatness! Even when I didn't believe in myself, I truly felt that she did, and that kept me going. The way this program works is really magical. Danielle did a great job of putting this together, because I honestly do not think I would have finished with the same outcome, using another method. It takes you back to your childhood and forces you to dig deep into distant memories, both happy and sad, and really has you dissect the reasons behind the feelings of these memories and why they had the impact they did. It continues to move on throughout your life, thinking of situations and stories that left both good and bad tastes in your mouth, and then goes back and compares these to the childhood memories. It's amazing the patterns and similarities that I discovered along the way. As fascinating as this all was, at the halfway point of the program, I still had absolutely no idea where this was leading and if I'd ever be able to find something that was right for me. I started to worry that I was not going to be a success story, like all those I read about in the Yelp and Google reviews, and I may have just wasted my money. I expressed these concerns to Hunter and she reassured me that this was NOT going to be the case. She said that she believed in me and my journey and that she knew we would find the perfect career path that was meant for me, so I had no other choice but to trust her. I always left my zoom meetings with Hunter, feeling so hopeful and truly inspired! I remember telling her on one of our first sessions, that I always felt so good after talking with her, that I wanted to do what she did! I told her that I wanted to be someone's Hunter; the reason someone smiled again, found their confidence and felt hopeful for a better future, after coming from a place of negativity and defeat. Even though I said this early on, it didn't hit me until much later in the game, that I my true passion was in coaching. I have decided to leave my long time career aviation and go into wellness coaching, focusing on fitness, nutrition and mindfulness. Never in a million years, would I have come into this program thinking I'd have a skills or bravery to leave the corporate world and start my own coaching business, but that is exactly what I am in the process of doing! I owe Hunter more thanks and appreciation than I will ever be able to express, for this truly insane and much needed career transformation!

One thing I wish I had known beforehand is how important it is to have a clear idea of the specific type of role you're targeting before starting the resume process. During a job search--which can be incredibly stressful and uncertain--I didn't feel that my experience or challenges were fully understood or acknowledged. Navigating a job search takes strategy, reflection, and support, and unfortunately, I didn't feel there was much empathy offered throughout this process. If I could do it over again, I would work with a career coach first to gain clarity and direction, before investing in resume services like this one."

I engaged Personal Touch Career Services in September 2019 to get them to review and tweak my…read moreresume. they had been recommended by a friend. I paid my $498 and they did what they do, changes were made etc, and before long I was sending my resumes and letters were being sent out but I got zero response. I still didn't feel it was saying the right things the right way for my industry so a few more changes were made but I had the same lack of results. I stepped away, changed a few things myself and sent it to people direct and I got a better response and even some work. I chalked the money spent, at a time when I couldn't really afford it, and the experience I had up to it being 'just one of those things' that don't work out for me and my situation and I moved on. Not long after I got a year long contract as well as some other work (but that was through my work in general, a recommendation, and my self-tweaked resume). With both their resume and the one I did, I got very little pick up via job ads. Flash forward to late 2020 and PTCS reach out to get feedback on the service I received. I explained how it hadn't worked for me and I had drawn a line under it, and we set up another consultation. I also provided copies of the current resume I had made. Donna, who is lovely, ran tests and gave me the results, and that was kind of it as 90 day options had long run out. The most significant advice I got was to open a Jobscan account/subscription and read chapter 11 of the book I got as part of my package. Should I have gone back again within the 90 days? Maybe, but I wanted to draw a line under it and try a different approach (which included getting industry friends to input on my resume). All I know is that while Personal Touch Career Services have been great for some people, and I'm delighted that's the case, working with them didn't get results for me. Also, if you're reaching out after 90 days to get feedback and offer help and the main response is, 'We can't do what we could have done because it's after 90 days,' that doesn't feel like the best result to offer. It certainly won't make me look at giving PTCS more of my money. They might work for you, they're certainly nice people to deal with, but for someone working in journalism and production for over 25 years, it didn't bear fruit in my case.
