The furniture and decor they provided made our home look like something you'd see in a magazine. They did everything they said they would do exactly when they committed to it. We would definitely use them again!

I am a real estate investor who does a lot of the legwork to market a property myself. Fresh Perspecives staged one of my investment homes for me at the end of May 2018, and I am giving them 3-stars instead of 1 or 2 for their excellent professionalism, fantastic organization and responsiveness, and the ability to get the job done well. The house they staged closed the third week of July and I was satisfied with the job they did. The reason I am not rating Fresh Perspectives 5 stars is as follows: I found their contract and scheduling tactics to be extremely rigid. I get it that they are probably a high-volume business and deal with a lot of unorganized listing agents or homeowners and therefore have to run a tight ship as a result, but now that I've shopped it around I see the difference. Secondly, in terms of the quality of the staging and beauty of the work, hands down my other property I just staged this week (with Interior Designer Dana Zarb) is far more superior in terms of furnishings, amount of detail, and beauty of the design; I wished I would have found Dana sooner! Today my senior photographer from Showcase that took photos says it's probably the best staging he's ever seen. And the kicker is for the same 60-day period (design, staging, de-staging, and 60 day rental), Fresh Perspecives charged 50% more than what I am paying today to Dana. What I learned when getting more estimates is that most every other stager "includes" in the initial invoice a 60-day rental of the furniture, Fresh Perspectives only 30. As a result, I am walking away from the Fresh Perspectives experience feeling a bit price-gauged when I could have paid a lot less and gotten a far better job. In summary, Fresh Perspectives provides an acceptable service, but there are better alternatives so do your due diligence and shop it around!

That also meant that I needed someone who could not only bring in ideas and a good eye for design, but also who could handle the details, coordinate with vendors, and provide a full-service package. Brittney and Lauren did an outstanding job in our 9 months working together. They took the time to understand what I liked, what was important to me, and what was a good fit for the space. I'm a nitpicky person, and they were very flexible and willing to hear and accommodate my feedback on selections, yet they also knew how to bring me down to earth when my ideas got a little crazy. Their communication was clear and consistent, and I felt that I could always reach out with questions and concerns. Now, when I look around my home, a smile always comes to my face. I feel like I have a real home--a beautiful home--and I have b. blanton design to thank for that. It's been a worthwhile investment, and I hope I can call on them again soon.

Their attention to detail, quality control, communication, and professionalism are top-notch. We interviewed a number of builders for our project, and I've worked with a lot of builders and general contractors in the past. Lotus is by far the highest quality, most communicative and most professional builder I've worked with. I've also been very impressed with their Buildertrend app that allows us to track all budgets, invoices, daily logs with photos, etc. We've had three different neighbors (two were architects and one was a general contractor) who stopped us on the street to tell us how impressed they were with the design and quality of construction, and that Lotus was building at a much higher quality than what they were used to seeing. We did a lot of higher end finishes, and everything has come together beautifully. We are extremely happy with the end results, and we plan on using Lotus for the next phase of our renovation project as well.

A complete nightmare from start to finish. It seems my experience matches the pattern I've now seen…read morereported by many others. The worksite was disorganized, unclean, and unsafe. They failed to protect marble countertops, existing stone flooring, and even used an antique table from a Memphis hotel as a storage surface. Basic tasks were left incomplete for months at a time. Entire weeks went by with no one showing up to work. From June through March, little to no meaningful work was completed. We planned to fire them in March because they continually dragged their feet while promising progress that never came. During this period, multiple other contractors and builders visited the property and all independently commented that they had never seen such a disorganized worksite. Tools were scattered everywhere, dust and debris were left unmanaged, nothing was covered or protected, and timelines showed complete incompetence. Some work was left half-finished while new work was started, creating unnecessary rework costs and delays. Walkthroughs were almost never scheduled unless we asked for them. Tasks were often redone multiple times due to poor planning and oversight. We received no meaningful updates, no explanations for delays, and no transparency. Promises that the project was "on schedule" were empty. Without our persistent calls and texts, the project would have continued to sit at the bottom of their priority list. We finalized the budget and all major design decisions in November alongside our interior designer, who has confirmed this. Despite that, the builder unilaterally changed the scope. When we asked why the budget had increased by $100,000, he sent a text admitting the scope had been changed - something we never approved. We never signed a single change order. After that, the budget kept climbing, increasing by approximately another $400,000 without a single call, text, or email notifying us. There was never a moment where he said, "Just so you know, the budget is increasing by $500,000." Who does that to a client? What kind of builder blindsides their customer like that? Quality Issues     *    Cabinets were delivered with major defects, some undersized to the point that internal shelving was exposed.     *    Paint on cabinets began chipping within a week of "handover."     *    The house was left with multiple water leaks, unresolved HVAC issues, electrical problems, and plumbing defects, far too many to list here. This was a renovation of a 4,000-square-foot home that dragged on for 12 months and remains unfinished. I saw no organization, no accountability, and no quality control, but they were quick to overbill, misrepresent, and blame the customer for their own failures. In my opinion, this company is not just careless, but they use predatory tactics to extract more money while delivering substandard, unsafe, and incomplete work. The stress, damage, and financial loss they caused me, both personally and professionally, cannot be overstated.

We received an estimate to design our living room and two bedrooms. It was pricey but within our budget and we proceeded. By the time we sat down for our first in-person meeting, half of the budget had been used and we had to pare down the scope to one room - the living room. We worked with Sara on the main pieces of furniture (sofa, dining room table, chairs, rug), but by then we'd already gone over the original 3-room budget and couldn't afford more design costs to complete the look and her vision - such as lighting, artwork, side tables, media cabinet, and entry table. So we spent what we hoped would cover design for three rooms in our apartment and ended up without even one completed room. That said, Sara was a pleasure to work with. Her team members are very smart, organized, and detail oriented. But we regret our experience and having invested so much money.
