By the time we sat down for our first in-person meeting, half of the budget had been used and we had to pare down the scope to one room - the living room. We worked with Sara on the main pieces of furniture (sofa, dining room table, chairs, rug), but by then we'd already gone over the original 3-room budget and couldn't afford more design costs to complete the look and her vision - such as lighting, artwork, side tables, media cabinet, and entry table. So we spent what we hoped would cover design for three rooms in our apartment and ended up without even one completed room. That said, Sara was a pleasure to work with. Her team members are very smart, organized, and detail oriented. But we regret our experience and having invested so much money.

However, I really wanted to see them in person before buying them and their website said Nouveau Classics carried them. Sweeeeeet. This place is right on Belmont road. Perfectly tucked away to make it easy to get to! Note though that they are moving somewhere else at the end of the year but they don't know where yet. The place is full of modern furniture, but not the totally off the wall, will I really sit on that, modern. The cool, clean lines, but still totally usable modern. I walked in and I saw it. This sectional. It was gray, it was L shaped. It was gorgeous. I was in love. Hellloooooooo couch! And it was the sole Lazar couch they had come to find out. So Katie, the saleswoman there that day, told me that it comes in tons of fabrics, sizes, etc and can be customized the way I want. She even went and got the measuring tape so we could measure off what size I would need to get to fit in my den. Then she brought out fabric. Only like 300000000 choices! This typically overwhelms me, but I just dug through and picked out a couple that I liked in shades of brown. She sent them home with me to test out in my house and see how they matched. So after 3 days of thinking about it, I brought it in and priced it up. This is quality furniture and it is NOT gonna be the cheapest thing you ever bought...but...but....it will last forever and how often am I really going to buy a couch? I picked a velvety soft mocha brown color, no tufting, espresso leg finish, etc. It will be ready in 4-6 weeks and they even will deliver it to my house. I cannot tell you how friendly and helpful Katie and the other lady working were! They were excellent and were part of the reason I decided to go ahead and buy it here rather than try other online sites. Service goes a long way. Now I will be beside myself waiting for what is going to be the nicest piece of furniture in my entire house. In the meantime I'll be deciding how to keep my evil cat off it! If you like modern furniture you should check this place out. Also, if you are reading this today, note that they have a sale on floor items going on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
