Floorz installed my hardwoods 10 years ago. At the time I just wasn't strong enough to object to what they did. They didn't bring the hardwoods to the house to acclimate, so they cupped. They stained it to match the cabinets, after I told the installer I wanted dark floors. They never finished grouting the bathroom floor and took the grout so I couldn't finish it. As the years have gone by, I've realized they only put one coat of poly in the floor, not two. I've been disappointed for years. Today, I found the original receipt and they sold me 1131 sf of flooring with a note that there is 5% for waste. The problem is, the new contractor who measured says there is only 800sf downstairs. That's 331 sf extra that I never got. It's almost $1000 over what I should have been charged! This whole thing was a scam from the start! read more

CHEAP FLOOR Floors came and laid down the "Cappuccino" laminate floating floor throughout our home 5 years ago. Every step I take on every square foot area of the floor squeaks and creeks loudly. It's has become very annoying. I can't "sneak around" with out waking everyone up. I'll never have a floor like that installed again. How do you get better than Floors spelled "FloorZ"?!? You can't!!! All kidding aside, my project (and budget) changed quite a few times, but my tight installation timeline did not. CeCe was amazing from A to Z....my wife and I had completely opposite ideas of what we wanted out of our new flooring, and CeCe was adamant about finding a solution that pleased everyone... I had the carpet in the upstairs of my house replaced about a month after I moved in. When they came to do the initial measurements and offered me a quote, they promised that my carpet would be installed within a week or two. The carpet we ended up wanting was unavailable so we had to wait about four weeks for the installation. Not a huge deal. I worked with Tommy who was very nice to work with. Tommy really tried to go out of his way to give us updates on the status of the carpet and was always available for questions which I really appreciated. Why the four stars? I am comparing this carpet installation with a previous carpet installation I had done in a home we just sold in California in May and I have to say that the quality of work that we had for this carpet installation was not nearly as good. The carpet installation I had done in California was in May of this year so it was all very recent. When the carpet installers came I was actually really worried. They did not have a shirt, a truck or even a hat that indicated that they were associated with the Floorz company at all. Just very, very strange to me. I was a little apprehensive when I let them inside my house because they were total strangers without a single piece of paperwork that indicated they were from Floorz. They took the screen off of my upstairs windows to throw out the old carpet from the upstairs window to my front lawn so they did not have to go up and down the flight of stairs as much. Lazy! I am not paying $5,000 for new carpet so you can cut corners. It was just really unprofessional and they overheard my comments to my husband regarding this and stopped the behavior. They also took so many smoke breaks. It was ridiculous. They also left their cigarette butts and fast food garbage outside of my house on my curb and driveway. It was almost 7 PM at night and they still were not done because they were on another 30 minute smoke break. I was getting really annoyed because I wanted to put my four month old baby to sleep and I couldn't until they left. They could have finished much sooner if they weren't so busy chain smoking. After they finished, there were some areas on the stairs that were not stapled down correctly. I had them re-do them and then looked fine. The carpet looks okay, however, there are some areas where I feel like the carpet doesn't sit right or has loose strands coming up here and there. It is not terrible but it doesn't look 100% perfect so I can't give a full five stars. I have gone back and cut the carpet in the places where it doesn't look perfect and that has helped a little but I don't feel like my carpet looks as pristine and perfect as the carpet did in my California home and it is the exact same carpet. read more

Absolutely loved my experience with Floorz! We ended up booking with Floorz after a bad experience with another company left us stranded at the last minute. Floorz got us on their schedule quickly, the crew was extremely professional, multiple finance options and we didn't have to hire an additional company to move our furniture....they handled EVERYTHING! I almost did not visit this store because the picture of the store and name look like a Big Box store to me. But as it was just a couple miles from me I thought I should check it out simply for price comparisons. It is not Big Box - the opposite it true. It is a small store with excellent personal Customer Service. Jason Burrage was my Sales Person and he made excellent suggestions based on my conversation with him that in fact I had not noticed myself when browsing thru the store. Every time I visited the store I was greeted timely and treated Courteously. Scheduling and installation went just fine. Good prompt communication thru out the process with Jason. I had cortex flooring installed in my downstairs. I expect to revisit them soon to discuss flooring options for my bedroom as well. I noticed that they had a nice array of higher quality/ price carpets to less expensive to choose from and I trust Jason to make recommendations for me. No bright light chain store feel here - infact had they handed me a cup of coffee I would have felt quite at home browsing their flooring selections . read more

Jason helped us select flooring for our needs. He was fantastic and so were the installers. We chose Shaw Titan HD Autumn Barnwood luxury vinyl to replace our worn out wood floors. We have dogs and horses and needed a floor that could stand up to water, scratches and wear and tear. We also needed a flooring that was easy clean up. We chose Floorz because they had a decent variety to choose from and had their own installers plus they would warranty their work. They were friendly and allowed us to take home multiple samples. We picked out the bathroom tile and paid for it on April 13, 2021. We also decided to replace our kitchen back splash. This took us till April 22, 2021, to pick out tile. With the tile paid for and ordered for both rooms we decided not to start the project until all the tile was in, so it could all be done in a week. That date was supposed to be June 7,2021. Floorz installers were to demo and put down the new tile. We had high hopes they would do it correctly. WELL...it didn't go as we had hoped. We picked 2 different tiles for the kitchen. Floorz had to special order the the specialty tile from California and said it would be in 2 weeks. The tile came in, but I'm guessing no one checked it. Because, on June 7th when they came and brought the tile I opened the special tile for the kitchen to find it wasn't the correct tile. I called Stephanie at Flooz right away. After some checking she called to tell me they would be reordering the correct tile and it would take two weeks before it would be in. They did complete the demo and put the tile down in the bathroom as well as demo the kitchen and put some of our tile up in the kitchen. About, a month later, since I hadn't heard anything from Stephanie I called. The tile was to be in, by the end of that week. We set the new install date for July 21, 2021. As you can see by the dates it has now been over 2 months since I paid for and ordered the tile. Now to the install. As I stated it did not go well. They did a good job removing all the tile in both rooms. However, the replacement of the drywall in the kitchen wasn't good. Communication was difficult, as only one person out of three spoke English. The grout lines in the bathroom were not all uniform and some tiles were not level. My husband talked with the foreman before the tile was laid and ask him to please make sure all grout lines were uniform and above all that the floor tiles were level. The mistakes in the kitchen were so numerous that this post would go on and on to mention them all. Over all we liked the product, but the workmanship and their not taking responsibility was not acceptable. We do not recommend using this company. read more
