It is really…read moredifficult to find a therapist in the Richmond area for children 6-12, and I am grateful to have found Ms. Bagsby. My child adores her, and Ms Bagsby is a great practitioner. We genuinely have a good time at each appointment. If you are looking for someone to work with children who have ADHD or who are twice exceptional, as it is called, you will find a gem in Jennifer Bagsby. She is nurturing and understanding and works with one's parenting style. She explains theory in as much depth as you require. The office is friendly, courteous, and helpful. We have had nothing but ease and helpful service in regards to scheduling and working with our insurance. I cannot recommend this office more highly.

WOW.... very unfortunate situation with just simply trying to book an appt. I was originally…read morereferred by the Veterans Affairs Community Choice Network. They work hand and hand with the veteran and can book appointments for you or also work with you to book appointments yourself. I tried both ways. I worked with Orlando from the VA CCN organization, he let me know he put three calls in over the course of two weeks. I also reached out to make an appointment two weeks ago. The number for intake routes to a voicemail, says to give them 72 hours for a response. Also I filled out the intake paperwork and got a text from a "Lexi" that assured me my paperwork was good, even though the website glitched. I then waited for days. I finally texted again to find out an update. Lexi replied via text to say she was at a Dr appt with her daughter and they would follow up Monday. ...ok I wished her a good weekend. The following week.. again.. crickets... I let Orlando know what was happening and that we would try one more time. This week has now passed and again nothing...after three more texts and two more voicemails. Again all spaced within 72 hrs.... I am sure they might have good therapists here.. but trying to get in and get established is laughable and should not be this hard. I am moving on and will seek help elsewhere. The intake process here needs to be thoroughly examined as you are losing patients. This is stressful to people that are already in stress and need assistance. To be met with this type of unprofessionalism, apathy or just plain incompetence is really sad.

I do NOT recommend this practice. The individual therapists and docs are fine, but I am disgusted…read moreby the cold, disconnected, confusing, and inflexible way in which they interact with their patients. Their billing policies are absurd and make me feel completely disregarded, especially considering the technological challenges of navigating their new portal. People come here for help and are instead forced to deal with a complicated, confusing interface, and then callously told that they have to pay a lot of money if they don't get the technology right. Months ago I was held liable for a session when I had to reschedule inside the 24 hours required, yet I didn't get any kind of compensation when my new therapist canceled on me TWICE in two weeks AT THE LAST MINUTE. Now I am being charged $165 for barely missing my video meeting with my prescriber, when it was the first time I had used their cumbersome and confusing new system, which told me that my browser was not supported, and sent me scrambling at the last minute to figure out the tech as I was trying to log in. I even called the front desk to tell them that I was having trouble, and I kept getting voice mail. I requested that the charge be waived and I was sent an apologetic and "understanding" message from Billing, acknowledging the difficulty dealing with the new portal, but refusing to waive the fee. That is fucked up. I will not be paying that $165 and I will not be seeking services from RCC anymore. Their platform sucks and so do their policies. Find another therapist or therapy practice.....this place SUCKS.

Horrible. Volunteer admission and before the tour after signing in was done I already knew this…read morewasn't the place to be. During pre-admission phone call you're told false information. Once they have you signed in and you're taken to the back(locked in) you're given the "tour" of the public bathroom with all 5 stalls ,couple sinks, trash can running over with trash, and the back of the bathroom equipped with a half length pull over to shut grungy plastic shower curtain for your utmost privacy for the numerous open room of showerheads. With the metal water mop bucket (on wheels) and industrial size mop still in the dirty water for your convenience, I assume? Why is there a nasty water mo bucket parked in the corner of the multiple patient shower/bathroom?? There's no drinks nor snacks(except for the water fountains in the hallway and the small bag of chips or pretzels; your choice of one, and room temperature water out of the water fountain. No blood work was checked so you really aren't sure what is being shared with you via public showers/restrooms and public H2O fountains. Did I mention this place is CoEd and I was told by nursing everyone here are adults and adults do things. So please is you do ,use protection. What?! Was it really jus told that? Yes I definitely was told that. No TB check, nothing. Well,a dip stick urine pregnancy test was given. The smoking area outback was disgustingly nasty. More cigg buts on the ground then in the one ashtray post they had out there. What looked like dried up spit ,goobers, and old blackened, smashed to the little bit of concrete patio they did have, spots stuck all over it ,old gum?food? Snot? Your guess is as good as mine! Lights out at 10pm. Basically no food or drink after 8 or 8:30 pm (small bag of chips and water fountain) til breakfast at 7am. The "catered" meals were smaller then the smallest buffet I've ever seen. Everyone picking at it randomly, most using thier fingers. Thanks but no thanks,I'll pass. The bedrooms they said I'd have A roommate. I had 2 roommates. The boxspring had wet stains half the way down all the sides. The mattress had 2 round shaped wet stains on it. Small flat pillow without a pillowcase. The small 2 drawer nightstand each bed had was made of cheap press board and the second drawer was stuck tight and wouldn't open. No TV and the overhead light came on because it was on a motion sensor. Just turn over in your bed or stretch your arm out and the overhead ceiling lights would come on and stay on until you got up and turned them off by the wall switch at the door. I told them immediately I wasn't happy with the condition of the facility and wanted to sign back out. I was told no they couldn't do that until the "higher ups" came in at 7 and 8 am. At 7am I was told no not 7 but 8am. At 8 I was told I had to wait til 9 or 10 cause health inspection was coming and everyone was too busy to help me due to everyone cleaning to prepare for the inspection. I finally had to get ugly and demand to be seen, to get someone to get a "higher up" and he(dont know his name because he didn't introduce himself) was rude, sarcastic, mocking and spoke down to me. He continued to tell me he couldn't let me leave from the back(locked in) until he took care of some other things so I was just going to have to wait. I told him I most certainly will NOT wait ,I have been getting the run around since the night before. I demanded he open the door and let me into the lobby and if he did not I wil consider that to be holding me against my will. Only then did he reluctantly open the locked door to the waiting room/lobby. Then again he continued to stall me asking me "Do you have any idea how much paperwork is involved to releasing someone?" I told him no I dont so we better get started now if there's so much to it. He refused and told me I had to wait he had other things to do 1st. I finally got my belongings and I walked out. My husband picked me up. I couldn't have felt more a prisoner in jail then that poorly run place. They shouldn't even be allowed to remain open. Oh a treatment consists of doping everyone down with a cup full of pills. Eat, meds amd most all go back to bed and sleep the dy away. This rotates 3 times a day breakfast lunch and supper. If yu really want rehabilitation for yourself or loved one then DO NOT go to Freedom . I rank it -- 0
