This was our second home buying process with Jae and we are confident when we say- 'we couldn't have done it without him'. The first thing you will notice is Jae's calm and composed temperament. Everyone buying a home experiences losing to multiple bids at some point or the other - its tiring and mentally exhausting. We lost bids to three homes and being extremely picky buyers, it wasn't easy. Most of the bids we lost to were cash offers or went way above what we would be willing to pay. Jae stayed positive and helped us stay positive throughout this tiring process and never let us lose hope that we wouldn't find our dream home. Along the way he gave us so may tips and strategies on how to narrow down on homes, which were helpful and insightful. Jae is thorough about his work, gives a wide range of suggestions and is willing to give his best no matter what. Coming to our purchase - We saw a house Bellevue - a location that is highly sought out and is always hot red in terms of the market. The house, surprisingly satisfied almost all our needs - had a lawn, our favorite floor plan, had high ceilings, great schools and convenient commute. The only downside was it did not look like the price it was listed for - so going at that price or beyond it was out of question. It still needed a new paint, fixtures and new appliances which would put us at a price level way above our budget. Jae worked with us on a detailed plan of how much we would need to invest in vs. how much we would be willing to spend on the house given its current state. Armed with that and his excellent negotiation skills he managed to bring the price down by almost ~10%- which in this market is a near impossible deal. In a market where houses were going 25% higher, Jae helped us negotiate a lower price - that speaks volumes about the agent that Jae is. And it does not stop here ... Jae went over and above helping us prep up our house - He helped us meeting contractors, gave us advice on what and where to purchase, gave us suggestions on which paint to get and even helped us install a bathroom vanity with his own bare hands (btw he is a great handyman as well - a bonus if are a rookie at this!) Jae also helped us sell our previous home amidst all this. Our previous home was located on a hill and we knew we were looking at a specific buyer segment who would be willing to pay for a great deck, beautiful views, but no backyard with a steep hill. It was a long process to find the right person - but Jae relentlessly did open houses every weekend and made sure that he was available in person to answer any questions (he could have easily transferred that to someone else in his team, but he did not). We finally found the right buyer and though the process was tiring Jae gave his best shot and got us the price we wanted. In a nutshell - Jae has been monumental in every stage of our home buying/selling experience - from searching, bidding, negotiating, staging, fixing and selling - he left no stone unturned. If you are looking for someone you could trust, learn and partner on this rollercoaster ride of buying a home - I'd recommend Jae without an iota of doubt. Thank you, Jae, for being much more than our real estate agent!

She struck up a very pleasant and informative conversation with us and invited us to attend a home-buying class at her office to go over the ins and outs of the process. We did and met her business partner, Christian Harris. So we ended up with two great brokers looking after us! My husband and I are both veterans and were looking at using a VA Home Loan, which adds a little more complexity to the operation. Ashley and Christian both know the process inside and out and how to explain it to newbies. They are very proactive in making sure NO detail is overlooked. They even checked up on the bank and the VA inspectors to make sure things were moving forward with the loan. When problems arose with home inspections, they worked toward solving them and/or advised us when we should let something go & why. They also have gave us some tips that saved us from potentially bad situations. They helped keep us motivated when things seemed slow/tedious/bleak. Most importantly, they listened to us and NEVER tried to push us out of our comfort zone, either with a house itself or with the financials. I have heard scary stories from friends, family, and co-workers about how stressful buying a house can be, but Ashley and Christian made the process MUCH easier! They give great advice and we ended up purchasing a wonderful home thanks to their efforts. Agents want to sell houses, but these two brokers want to make certain you get what you're paying for and, most importantly, that you love what you get.

We were so fortunate to have Ashley as our agent when buying our first home this year…read more We met her husband Adam at one open house event early this year and exchanged contact information. Just a few weeks later, once we felt ready to start our home search, we met Adam and Ashley at a coffee shop near our home where they walked us through the entire home buying process and answered all questions we had. Ashley is very knowledgeable, patient and kind, a great negotiator, and has a great list of contacts for all things we needed throughout the process. She has been there for us every step of the way and was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding homes that met our needs than she was on closing a deal. We strongly recommend her to anyone.

He carefully evaluates every opportunity and makes sure you have all the information you need before putting in an offer. That level of care and responsibility gave me a lot of confidence throughout the process. Seth is also incredibly available and responsive. I want to do a USDA 502Guaranteed Loan Program, often called the Guaranteed Rural Housing Loan. Sounds like I am building a resume, No, Just a lead in, to share how I feel that I've been discriminated against. I had the misfortune of talking to three men, all who treated me as if I was "uninformed". The first man, (I actually talked to him twice and didn't realize it until he began talking), I explained what I wanted to do. He began? (both calls) telling me about their 50/50 rule - which I learned was for Conventional and or FHA loans. 3 mins into the "2nd" call, I got the distinct impression he had heard what I said. I repeated again what I wanted to do, sharing the loan program again. He simply went back to his spiel. I finally had enough and told him, I didn't think we were a good fit. He finally admitted he doesn't do USDA loan, don't know much about them - why in the heck didn't he say so from the get go? He referred me to another man. This man also gave me a "spiel" and as with the first, when I repeated again the type of loan I wanted, he too, then finally confesses that He doesn't' do them. Second time - why in the heck didn't he just say so up front? I reasoned out why as this - they are set in their ways, the types of loans the make them the most money and can close quickly. Neither really wanted to help me. I didn't make 100+K a year, or have at least 20% down payment. The third and final man I spoke with, was the worst. He forced me to "calendar a 15 min call". When he did call, promptly as scheduled, he opens up the conversation saying "I have only 15 minutes to talk to you because I have another called scheduled at 11:45. I felt devalued right up front. He said he does USDA loan, and the specific loan I want. And then He actually insulted my intelligence. Once I explained (again) the USDA 502 loan I am interested in; he doesn't hesitate in telling me; "I don't think you realize how long the process takes. All the permits, etc. He then asked if I already owned the land - NO, I do not. (The 502 program is for the land to manufactured home loan purchase rolled into one loan). He says it again, that I have "no idea" what it takes. He further said "they expect the loans to close in 12 months. or it won't get funded - they. At this point I felt fully discriminated against. If he actually does the USDA 502 Guaranteed Loans, he knows that USDA has strict processes Lenders must go through. Now, I was so upset, I hung up on him - after all, he used 14 mins of my 15 min call to tell me "what I didn't know". My resume again: I have done real estate purchase loans all across the USA, I helped numerous buyer find land, walked them through the processes to closing, I had a Broker's license for over 12 years, banking/lending experience of 35 years. Yes, I felt insulted! Discriminated against due to age, gender, income, marital status, disability, I would never use Evergreen Home Loans, ever! 71YO Female - they all know who I am :)
