When Dr. Khoe sold his practice to Dr. Siu, I felt confident that he would leave his patients in good hands. This has proven to be true. I love that this is a dentist office without all the high-tech fancy "bells and whistles." This is exactly what I look for in a dentist. I want good dental care without up -selling pressure to do expensive cosmetic procedures and fancy gizmos to entertain me. At my biannual visit today I was happy to see a newly hired dental hygienist. The previous one, that had worked for Dr. Khoe for years, was a kind and caring woman, who did an excellent cleaning, but she was also very talkative and high energy and a bit too familiar. This appointment was probably one of the worst dental office experiences I've ever had. I was looking for a new dentist after my long-time and much respected dentist retired. I got a recommendation to Michael Siu, DDS. The whole office lacked social niceties, like simple introductions and explanations of what to expect during the visit. What was weird was that there was no conversation among any of the staff, least of all any offered to me. It was eerie. But the quality of the procedures, a checkup and subpar teeth cleaning, clinched my dissatisfaction. It didn't help that all this guy could say about my teeth was that they were dirty. Period. So far so good! Scheduled one of my kids here during covid to check it out. Their prior dentist is no longer taking their insurance. The dental hygienist did the best job I've ever seen of explaining things to my kid and giving him feedback on the job he's been doing in a way that was helpful and informative without him feeling bad or feeling like he was getting a lecture. So well done. There was a high power air filter in each room, which was noisy, but which made us feel safer. I will schedule the other kid soon. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Khoe for almost 30 years. His office staff has been the same for as long as I can remember-which really says something! My children have seen him for their entire lives! He is kind, thoughtful and has caught issues before they have been too big to handle. I have some deep pockets in the back of my mouth but thanks to Dr. Khoe we have figured out ways to deal with them! Kathy and Gabby are always so helpful with questions and when I need to change an appointment. They have become more automated in the past couple of years which makes it easier to confirm appointments and the like! Unfortunately, there was some confusion with my new dental insurance, and Dr. Khoe was not approved for my plan. But Gaby at the front desk was very helpful with contacting my insurance company and finding out who I could go to. She even let me use one of their office phones to make an appointment with my new dentist. She and the rest of Dr. Khoe's staff went above and beyond to help me out. Excellent dentist, warm and welcoming staff. I like that it's a small office, you often get your teeth cleaned by the dentist himself. The hygienist I had today was very gentle as well which is a big plus to me. Another plus is that Dr. Khoe is conservative about filling cavities. The receptionist, Kathy is extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly - scheduling an appointment and filling out the registration forms was a breeze (I could even email it to them before coming in). I switched to Dr. Khoe due to insurance reasons. He's a Delta Dental PPO dentist and so our limits for insurance are higher with a Delta Dental PPO dentist vs. a Delta Dental Premier provider. Dr. Khoe is awesome! He is super nice and you can tell he really cares about giving you good care. The office is small and conveniently located on Dutton (blocks away from where I live so I can walk there). He's been there many, many years (20?) and you can really tell he has pride for his business. His office staff are really friendly and preauthorize work with the insurance. I had a cleaning and a filling. My husband had a cleaning and some work done as well. Both of us left feeling we had no regrets leaving our former dentist (of 20+ years) due to insurance reasons. They claim they have systems in place but they do not communicate well with patience's. Our whole family has been seeing dr. Khoe for a couple of years now. My husband and I used to see a dentist who was really pushy about getting all kinds of procedures done. And every time we went, they made it sound like our teeth were in terrible condition. When they wanted to pull all my wisdom teeth out because one of them had a cavity, I asked if there was anything else we could do because I really wanted to avoid getting them all pulled (no dentist had ever told me I needed that). They suggested a crown on the wisdom tooth with a cavity. I was skeptical and looked for a dentist who could give me a second opinion. I found dr. Khoe and he thought there was no need to pull all the wisdom teeth, and he could also fill the cavity on my one wisdom tooth and we would just keep an eye on the rest of them. It's been 2 years now and I haven't had a problem. So glad I didn't listen to the first dentist. After my husband was charged way past what the insurance covered without even being warned, he switched as well. I love the staff at this dental office. They are all super friendly. I forgot my son's appointment once and they waived the fee because it was my first time missing an appointment. They are so accommodating to my kids, with books and crayons in the waiting room. My oldest son looks forward to seeing the dentist because he gets a cool toothbrush and a toy. Dr. Khoe is kind and friendly. It's not as high tech and fancy as the previous dentist office I used to go to. But I feel way better coming here where people are friendly and helpful than going somewhere I feel pushed to do all kinds of work so they can pay for their fancy equipment. Thank you dr. I had terrible mouth pain due to a growing wisdom tooth. I called last minute, they were able to see me and Dr. Khoe was able to clean my tooth and gave me prescription mouthwash until I could be referred to a surgeon. Kathy was so sweet and called multiple oral surgeons and left voicemails to make sure I could be seen even though most offices were closed due to 4th of July. They were so attentive and made me feel so welcomed. I had a previous dentist who didn't do 10% of what they did and I'm so happy I went there. read more

I have been going to Dr. Khoe since I was 3 years old. And now I have the honor of taking my now almost 3 year old and 5 year old to him. My girls love going there and look forward to seeing Dr. Khoe. Kathy and Gabby are amazing as well. They all feel like part of the family. Dr. Khoe had been my dentist for 15 years. After a career change our new insurance didn't offer Dr Khoe as a dentist, I had to go to a new dentist. The new dentist office was state of the art and the office staff was professional. Or so it seemed, on multiple occasions I had to wait half an hour or more past my scheduled appointment to see the dentist. They also called day of appointment on several occasions and canceled my appointment. I asked family and co-workers, none had ever experienced such wait times or cancellations, they recommended I find a new dentist. The dentist also did multiple expensive procedures costing me thousands of dollars. I felt like I was being convinced all these procedures that Dr Khoe didn't think needed to be done, had to be done. One of the crowns broke a week after procedure. The dentist replaced the crown at no cost, but now I felt I had to stay with the dentist a while to make sure all the dental work would be covered. After 2 years of a less than desirable dentist experience our insurance improved and I was able to return to Dr Khoe. You don't know what an amazing dentist you have until you are forced to try another. I called Dr Khoe and told him what a horrible experience I had and that I wanted to come back. I am now a very happy patient! Dr Khoe is incredible kind, thoughtful and has a gentle touch and most importantly does not do procedures unless they are necessary.
