Hello! We moved here about 8 months ago and started going to Select Dental with Dr. Mola. I've always struggled with dental anxiety and honestly disliked most dentists I've been to, but this office completely changed that for me. I'll probably stay here forever and recommend them to everyone. The office is clean, upscale, the fountain is my favorite, honest, and they never try to upsell unnecessary treatments. They simply take care of you. Everyone on the staff is incredibly kind, gentle, and patient, which makes a huge difference for someone like me who gets nervous about dental visits. What really stands out is how much they genuinely care about their patients. They've even given my teenage boys life advice during visits. You're not just a number here--they truly get to know you. If you ever have to wait for a specialist, it's because some travel in from out of state. I've always appreciated their transparency and patience with scheduling. In the past 8 months, I've had three fillings, a root canal (with a referral), and a completed repair with Dr. Mola. I also go in every three months for cleanings to stay on track, even though my insurance only covers two per year. Choosing a new dentist is always a stressful event but I was the kind and punctual staff at select dental made my first visit a breeze

I am so completely disappointed in this team, they sold us a lie after multiple nightmares with other dentists. They said they could save my spouses tooth with a root canal and extract the other, A DAY BEFORE surgery they called and told us that the dentist that was supposed to perform the procedure no longer worked in their office, The DAY BEFORE. Now we're in the same boat we were in months ago trying to find a dentist who can perform both services in the same office, we've been getting pushed and pulled all over paying consultation fees one after the other and nobody can help us with both services. A shame. The least they could do is point us to the right people who can do what they SAID they would do for us. read more

I called the office right before they closed (dealing with a semi emergency situation) and they were able to fit me in the very next morning. I don't have dental insurance. I called around and they had the best "new patient deal". I think this is the first dentist I ever went to that didn't try to sell me something extra. Everyone was super friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job. They explained everything to me including the condition of my teeth and gums. Dr. Mora is the best dentist I've ever seen. I was panicking because a different dentist had put on a crown and I was experiencing pain and my dentist did not return my message. Select Dental got me an appointment WITHIN AN HOUR, Dr. Mora took x-rays and did a great job assessing the situation and taking care of it. Once again Dr. Mola's team impresses me beyond belief. My implant came out (too much candy) and it was a Thursday night right before my niece's wedding scheduled for Sunday. Friday morning I called desperately looking for help. Dr. Mola was not available but his team saved the day! They told me to come in and they would see what they could do. I came in and they were so accommodating and professional, even though I was a last minute patient and they were pretty busy they took the time to help me. I couldn't thank them enough for seeing me. This was my first time at Select Dental and I met two of their doctors. Dr. G and Dr. Mola. They both great doctors. Loved the service. I recommend this place to rest of my friends and family. I don't usually write reviews especially for dentists because I have a fear of dentists. I'm sure many of you can relate to abstaining from the dentists during the pandemic. Personally it has been almost 3 years since a deep cleaning. I love this place first of all, the environment is so welcoming. The staff from the front desk, the hygienists are all so kind. They all have such great knowledge and as a nurse it's important to me that the people taking care of my teeth can give me steps to follow when I'm at home trying to pick a toothbrush or flosser. S/o to Tylon (hope I spelled that right) and Maggie for being so kind and not shaming me but for educating me and making such great recommendations. I can tell they take pride in their work. Now let me talk about my new dentist Dr. Mola. He was kind, efficient and even made time in his busy schedule to take care of my deep cleaning the same day he saw me. He was quick and made the whole process as painless as he could he didn't make any promises he couldn't keep and didn't recommend anything he knew I didn't need. Dr. Mola and his team are the best! My family has come here since we moved to San Leandro and we highly recommend him. My daughter first saw him when she was 3 years old and Dr. Mola and his team are so great with her. She loves going there and afterwards she gets to pick a toy from the toy chest. I had a bridge done by another dentist in San Francisco which was really bothering me. Dr. Mola replaced it and it feels/looks so much better now. A few weeks ago I had a dental emergency (back molar broke) so I called Select Dental to inform them I was a new patient and asked to be seen as soon as possible. They were able to squeeze me in last minute on the day that I called and let me know they would work on me in between their already-confirmed appointments which I was totally fine with, I was just grateful to get in. The entire staff was so friendly and treated me as if I had already been their long-time patient. I ended up needing a crown on my molar which scared me a little at first, but while they were working on my teeth they explained each step and ensured my comfort throughout the whole process so I felt very safe with my teeth in their hands. I will also point out they are taking all of the appropriate safety measure during the COVID-19 pandemic such as health screen questionnaire, face mask enforcement, hand sanitizer readily available, and sanitizing each pen before handing to the patients to write with.
