I recently went to another doctor in Roseville on the advice of a friend, and her approach was aggressive. Felt uncomfortable that she tried to sell a number of supplements which I didn't think were necessary. Dr. Goodman has a great reputation, as I've heard people travel a distance to see him. His staff is very nice and accommodating. They've been with him since I've been a patient, so there's great consistency with patient care. His office is basic, not fancy or modern, just comfortably meets the need. Today I saw him and there were cookies and tea in the waiting area! Overall, 5-star service with great confidence in his care.

He also made several categorical statements about possible causes and mechanisms in my case that conflicted with what I had been told by other highly qualified experts, as well as with peer-reviewed medical literature. He did not give me confidence that he is current on reconstructive options relevant to complex revision cases. Some of the advice I received also did not feel medically appropriate for a serious reconstructive consultation. My impression was that his reputation may be based more on older credentials than current expertise in this niche. This review reflects my personal experience in a paid consultation.

Update: Sutter Health has known for years that my prostate PSA SCREENING test results have been…read morealarmingly high. Finally, in 2024, Dr. Mabardy, my new PCP, performed a DRE of my prostate, something NEVER before done all my years at Sutter Health, both at Davis and Yuba City. Both Dr's. Hamid Kourdoni, Sutter Health Yuba City, and David DaSilva simply ignored my high readings. Now, I have intermediate stage aggressive prostate cancer. I had to get another health care provider, Dignity Health Woodland, California Woodland, who is now treating me for prostate cancer. This cancer could have been prevented, had Sutter Health Yuba City and Davis, their doctors, supervisors, and management had done their jobs. I am in complete distress over the fact that my cancer was indicated and ignored by Sutter Health Dr's Kourdoni and DaSilva. This is completely unconciounable! Not only that, but Dr. Ferguson, Davis's only Urologist refused to see me. His nurse hung up on me twice when I tried to call and make an appointment. It's just horrible and unconciounable! Please, please, do not risk your life here. If they don't cause your physical death, they will do whatever they want, with little or no concern for your ultimate good. The bottom line here is just that. MONEY! The organization has no moral compass whatsoever. It's contract doctors are either frightened corporate lackeys or maniacal ego driven selfish consumers of their own imagined self-importance. Simply abhorrent! There is still hope. No! Not here! Go down the street to Dignity Health Woodland, California. I did. I am now being cared for as a human being, not as a commodity. Finally, my cancer is being addressed and treated by a caring and professional team of doctors and health care professionals; not off the street lame uneducated supervisors and "match-book" MBA type managers, who are really just silly corporate lackeys and societal pariah. I had my initial consultation scheduled for this particular physician. The appointment day and time…read morewas provided to me by her office according to her availability. On the day of my appointment I was informed that my appointment was being moved to the last appointment for the day. That would have been fine except I had rearranged my schedule to fit the appointment time originally provided by her office. I arrived at 4:15PM, 15 minutes early and paid online. I set myself down in the waiting room to be called in to see the doctor. Her medical assistant was very pleasant as she called me back and sat me in the office as I awaited to see the doctor. Well, she didn't come in for another 15 or 20 minutes. She came & introduced herself unapologetically. She did not address her tardiness, or her rearrangement of my original appointment time. This was supposed to be an initial 30 min New Patient consultation to address some very important concerns regarding my health, although I only took up 15 minutes of her time, even though she was late. I felt uncomfortable at what I perceived to be her aloofness, nice/nasty attitude. I'm sure she's probably a decent doctor at her craft, but I cannot recommend her. Back to the drawing board in search of a kind, compassionate OB GYN doctor.
