Update: Sutter Health has known for years that my prostate PSA SCREENING test results have been alarmingly high. Finally, in 2024, Dr. Mabardy, my new PCP, performed a DRE of my prostate, something NEVER before done all my years at Sutter Health, both at Davis and Yuba City. Both Dr's. Hamid Kourdoni, Sutter Health Yuba City, and David DaSilva simply ignored my high readings. Now, I have intermediate stage aggressive prostate cancer. I had to get another health care provider, Dignity Health Woodland, California Woodland, who is now treating me for prostate cancer. This cancer could have been prevented, had Sutter Health Yuba City and Davis, their doctors, supervisors, and management had done their jobs. I am in complete distress over the fact that my cancer was indicated and ignored by Sutter Health Dr's Kourdoni and DaSilva. This is completely unconciounable! Not only that, but Dr. Ferguson, Davis's only Urologist refused to see me. His nurse hung up on me twice when I tried to call and make an appointment. It's just horrible and unconciounable! Please, please, do not risk your life here. If they don't cause your physical death, they will do whatever they want, with little or no concern for your ultimate good. The bottom line here is just that. MONEY! The organization has no moral compass whatsoever. It's contract doctors are either frightened corporate lackeys or maniacal ego driven selfish consumers of their own imagined self-importance. Simply abhorrent! There is still hope. No! Not here! Go down the street to Dignity Health Woodland, California. I did. I am now being cared for as a human being, not as a commodity. Finally, my cancer is being addressed and treated by a caring and professional team of doctors and health care professionals; not off the street lame uneducated supervisors and "match-book" MBA type managers, who are really just silly corporate lackeys and societal pariah. Do the right thing for yourself and your family. Avoid Sutter Health like the plague! read more

I'm with Elizabeth, I was shocked to see so many negative reviews. This has been my favorite group of doctors. I sometimes call for same day appts. and have always been seen, even if it's by my doctors colleagues. They're extremely thorough, and thoughtful. I appreciate them. read more

I'm with Empireblue and decided to visit a doctor in my plan for a full check up. The doctor I got was Charles Som D.O. Decent guy and decent facilities. I've been to nicer places and I've been to worse places. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd put this place above average and would go back again. read more

I'm from Indiana and someone in this medical office somehow stole my credit card number and charged over $200 of food and alcohol and had it delivered via doordash. My account was hacked and when I got on to it this address was the delivery address. I have contacted the authorities and have given the proof from my bank, doordash, and they received the number from which the orders came from so someone will be getting charged soon. Dishonest trashy thieves work here! read more

Do not go here! I had several tests done and the Dr. could not even articulate to me what they were for. He prescribed me medications and did not explain why or what they would treat. I was also very unhappy with my diagnosis. I will definitely not be going to Sutter anymore as this is the second time they have been no help at all. The main problem is that this organization operates on a business model and not like a medical facility. I needed an urgent refill of an anticonvulsant and the Call Center is unable to handle this "consumer service" issue. Protocols which are scripted, bureaucratic, and not personal. Call center staff are not medically trained so have no idea how to handle medical issues after hours. Terrible/unacceptable. These are patients and doctors, not consumers/clients. read more

I went in with a severe cough and I had been vomitting after coughing. The doctor there didn't do any tests and just said I had a lingering cough from a cold. The cough never went away a month later. Went to another doctor and it turned out I had whopping cough and was highly contagious. I also found out a main symptom and indicator of whopping cough is vomit due to cough (you can find this info on government websites not just wikipedia). I will never go here again. read more

Don't go here -- the office staff are rude, stupid morons. They treated us like crap, wouldn't so much as attempt to accommodate us even though we drove 100 miles and spent $100 round trip, gave our appointment away to someone else, wouldn't apologize for this unbelievably rude and insensitive conduct, attempted to make us bear the guilt for being late! Took my son there for a physical, mainly to establish a case file for a referral to a specialist. The appointment was set over a month ago. I live two hours away, rented a car to make the drive. The appointment was set for 1 pm, we got delayed in traffic and showed at 1:15. It was our fist time there. The appointment was for FORTY minutes, and was scheduled to last from 1 pm to 1:40 pm. They had given the slot to someone else. When we walked in, the receptionist was snotty to us, didn't bother to give us the intake forms, delayed us further with discussions about our tardiness, how it was our fault they were "forced" to give my son's forty minute slot to an "emergency" walk in client. This office isn't an emergency room, and there were still 25 minutes left on the clock which should have been made available to my son. They refused to give him the intake paperwork or to accommodate him. I asked to speak to the office manager. The receptionist went into the back, came back TEN MINUTES later (did she take a coffee break back there?), told me "her supervisor" was busy, but that my son could be seen at 4:30 -- THREE HOURS LATER! Demanded to see the office manager, the girl went back again, came back another TEN MINUTES LATER, said the office manager would be out shortly, and gave us the intake form. We thought we would be taken seriously and given an appointment. Instead, after another TEN MINUTES and still no office manager (it was now 1:45), we realized they were burning up his 40 minute appointment time so that they could then tell us there was no time left. GAMES, GAMES GAMES! This office doesn't treat patients like people but like numbers, cattle, a source of money, a paycheck! Idiots! We walked out, won't pay a dime even though I'm certain they will attempt to get paid for a full physical. These idiots definitely don't know how to attract and keep clients!! read more

Sutter's utilization management dept which approves procedures is the worst I have ever experienced. I have worked for, been a patient of, or taken care of family members at all four major healthcare organizations is the Sacramento area (Dignity, Kaiser, UCD, Sutter). Sutter denied a procedure that was part of routine care from the other organizations because they said it was not proven to be effective. The PRP injection I had at UCD on my right elbow worked very well but Sutter denied for the left elbow. No communication in spite of numerous requests for the rationale for denial when it is regular therapy at the other organizations. I would have fired the UM staff if they had worked for me at Dignity. Sutter UM demonstrated no respect for me as a patient. read more

This staff are very friendly. A male supervisor who looked middle eastern was very friendly and took care of my issue the same day. He listened and didnt judge. Highly recomend comming here!Healthcare is a top priorty!! read more
