Teeth are probably the most important personal identifying object viewed every day of your life. Your smile is your calling card and the signature on that calling card must be taken care of in a most respectful way, especially by a dentist. As I approached my 60's I noticed my teeth were beginning to wear differently as they were acquiring an ugly and painful fit with more crowding it was becoming increasingly difficult to speak and chew food properly. I found a front tooth was twisted so much that my smile appeared buck-toothed and two front bottom teeth were so weak I could push them back and forth with my tongue. I knew I had to see a dentist. I was already paying for a dental plan, so approached Dentist Rack for care of these 3 teeth. He totally took control of the situation and wrote up a 2 year plan and presented it to my insurance company. The insurance took care of the first visit, an x-ray, and accepted Rack's 2 year plan. I was free to return to my job. I had to call after 3 months to remind Rack that I came to see him about 3 problem teeth and was not ready for a plan for the rest. I was once again charged another co-pay. I told him what I needed for him to do so he pulled three teeth and left me without a major front tooth and without two front lower teeth which made eating, drinking, speaking, and looking in the mirror, impossible and depressing. I drug myself back to Rack and a third co-pay and he used one of the teeth he previously pulled to stick in the top empty place with some dental glue. After 2 1/2 months, the tooth fell out. And their office wonders why I am so slow in paying for 3 simple extractions.
I now know why dentist are not accepted with any major insurance company. They are unable to feel guilt about disfiguring their patients. They do not care that humans require all of their teeth...to function normally in everyday life. I'm in customer service and have painfully received some very nasty comments about my toothless smile. I still have trouble sounding out some words...especially prices.....as my wicked boss laughs at me and continues to ask me to repeat things to her just to make fun of me. I let everyone know it is the work of Michael Rack.
I have scheduled an appointment with a second dentist telling him exactly what Rack should have done-which is to replace what he took. Rack has a picture of a tooth extractor on his cartoon tool belt calling card, and ironically that calling card shows exactly how he expresses his profession.
Dr. Wexler knows how important your calling card smile is to you and to those you come in contact with. He works with you and your financial situation to restore your smile and your emotional response to dentistry work.
Please try not to use common sense when seeking help from a dentist. All a dentist understands is money. Commonly they are not interested in replacing what they have taken from you...they just extract what ever is bothering you and say, " your insurance company will take care of 1/2. You owe me $." read more
