My experience with this lovely group of pros started with the first call to the office where a beautiful voice answered. Alissa got me in within an hour to see Dr. Reed. The entire team made my experience pleasant; soothing music, a modern and tastefully decorated super clean environment! Michelle and Chandra did the initial intake and at that point I knew it must be a top down attitude where the patient's care is foremost. He gave me very clear instructions on what to do before and after surgery and a laminated page of instructions to make sure I would remember. He has always been sedated for his regular dental work at our dentist's office in Lawrence, and does well there. We love our regular dentist, but he cannot remove impacted wisdom teeth, so we needed an oral surgeon. We went to 2 oral surgeons in Lawrence for consultations. Both told us to go to the hospital for the sedation and extractions. It seemed to me like they were more afraid of the word "autism" than anything. A friend recommended Oral Surgery of KS and Dr. Ferrell specifically. WOW. What a nice guy ~ professional and compassionate. He was amazing with my son. We were able to do the consultation with the doctor answering my son's questions on his level, then meet alone with the doctor. The actual oral surgery was done immediately following the consultation. So, there were no hours or days of anxiety between the consultation and the surgery. We went to the Topeka office. The office staff was friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Farrell and this office. I wish we had found him first.

He has completely redone my mouth, fixing old fillings and cavities that have accumulated from my fear of going to the dentist.
