Everyone from the front desk to the nurses, to the awesome PA and of course the doctors themselves. Dr. Brown is our primary but we have seen Dr. Trang for a sick visit. Dr Brown was patient, answered my questions (actually LET me ask her unlike past peds) and gave me complete and understandable answers instead of short quick generic responses. My daughter has had 4 sick visits (day care kid) and each time we were treated thoroughly, quickly and efficiently and the PA or Dr Trang made sure I understood exactly what my daughter had and how to best treat it. His advice is unbiased, and he does an excellent job explaining things to us non-medical folk. He really seems like he loves his job and isn't just interested in getting a paycheck from your insurance company.

Horrendous experience that I am going to back up with this extensive review…read more 1) The doctor we saw was rushing through the exam and scraped the inside of our infants ear during the ear evaluation and said "if you see a little blood later, it's not a big deal" 2) We use mouth tape for our daughter at night to correct her jaw alignment and address some gut issues, the doctor told my wife that was "mean" to do and doesn't work. 3) My daughter was wearing pig tail braids and the doctor tugged on them and said "girls wear pig tails so boys can pull them" - how weird is that to say to a 5 year old girl? 4) He refused to share with us a vaccine list to get our daughter caught up saying "I don't do that" Overall, this was just a prime example of a factory pediatrician facility with a hint of very weird comments to a young woman.

Very disappointed...our child has been diagnosed with ADHD and we have concerns regarding dyslexia…read more(which is commonly associated with ADHD) and the possibility of ASD. Dr. Rios insisted that before working with our son, he undergo a prolonged period of being on ADHD medications. We've looked into ADHD medications in the past, however, two pediatricians have recommended against using them with our son. One based on genetic testing clearly showing they would be contraindicated in our son. A second pediatrician also recommended against their use as ADHD medications have been shown to increase psychiatric disorders amongst ASD children (there are excellent peer reviewed journal articles regarding the use of ADHD medications in ASD individuals). To summarize, his recommendation of contraindicated courses of treatment is of great concern as is his cavalier approach.

Other doctors had up to a year long waitlist, but Dr. Rios got him in quickly and was very thorough in his examinations. We went back on a few different occasions, and received a diagnosis very quickly. Overall, he was friendly, worked well with our son, was patient and was very thorough in answering all of our questions as anxious parents. The office staff and billing process was smooth with no hiccups. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Rios if you are concerned about your child's development. We are planning on coming back for a follow up!

My daughter started PediaPlex after we moved back to TX after living out of state. She was…read morediagnosed at her previous therapy center in WA at 38 months. She's been at PediaPlex for approximately 3 years at this point and we are happy with all the staff and services she's gotten so far. The therapists have always been professional and eager to listen to any concerns my husband and I may have. Everyone works together as a team for the best interest of each child. We will continue driving the 40 minute drive 4 days a week to PediaPlex because it's working great for my daughter. When deciding on a therapy center it's important to realize you are part of the team working together for the best outcome. Communication and realistic expectations are essential for any type of therapy at any center to be successful.
