I was asked to go to urgent care or offered appointment after 3 days to see my kid who is sick for 3+ days. I moved to this area recently, I missed to ask this before I took my kids here first time a month back. Usually pediatrician provide same day appointment for sick kids, but not this group. Bad experience. They are not empathetic towards such situations, lady on call didn't even bothered to ask what is wrong or offered nurse service/tried to help over phone. Who does that to 19 month old kid?

Need an appointment with a sick kid first thing on a Monday - OK you got it, can you come at 8:20 a.m. And if you arrive early - no waiting - we almost always get out before our scheduled time!!!! He knows his stuff and answers your questions. His RN is awsome as well, great with kids from top to bottom. While you pay the copay - the kids get to pick a sticker and have a giggle. In the lobby before you go back, there is a "well" child section and TV and a "sick" child section and TV. I went to another Cooks Childrens office for six months and left for their lack of professionalism, but this one is as good as I could hope.

Throughout the years we have always had a terrific experience with her and the office! - They're usually right on time, I've never had to wait in the waiting room very long. There's also plenty of toys and fish tanks to keep the kiddos entertained. I also love that they have a sick room and a well room! - The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. They always remember my children and go above and beyond to assist me with whatever I need. - The nurses are amazing! They're great with children and they're always fast and speedy with unpleasant procedures. Anytime my children have had to get blood drawn, a flu swab, shots or catheters they've always been gentle and speedy, causing minimal pain while getting the job done as quick as possible. They're just absolutely great with children! - Debra Naylor is the primary physician for my children and they love her! She has a way with kids and finds a way to make their check ups fun for them. Throughout the years my children have seen every physician/PA/NP at least once when sick and Dr.Naylor has not been available and it's always been a positive experience. They listen to what I have to say and always take my concerns seriously. They're also incredibly thorough and leave no stone unturned when trying to figure out what's wrong with the kiddos. - Anytime I've called their office to leave a question for a nurse and/or doctor they've always gotten back to me quickly. I can be a bit of helicopter mom and admit that I've called them with some pretty silly questions but they always take me seriously and get back to me as soon as they can. - Anytime one of my kids has fallen ill they always work with me to get them seen immediately even if they close in ten minutes. 18 and Under is just an overall wonderful practice! They've taken care of my babies since they were born and I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.

Dr. Williams is primary for both my children and he is excellent! Very friendly and puts my kiddos right at ease. Not only is he patient with all of my stupid questions, but he also explains things in a way that makes sense without making me feel like an idiot. The biggest positive is that he seems to truly care about his patients' well being. At our first visit with Dr. Williams, my husband and I explained our concerns about a long term issue our daughter has had. Other pediatricians have brushed it off, giving inadequate advice and not really addressing the issue. Dr. Williams took our concerns seriously and thoroughly explored possible causes, which we really appreciate! We've also seen Dr. Goff and Dr. Day when my daughter was sick and Dr. Williams was unavailable, and they were both fantastic as well! Each time she went in timid and upset that she had to see a doctor she'd never met, and each time left with a smile on her face asking if she could see that doctor again. They both listened to my concerns as well and got us in and out quickly, but not in a way that it felt like we were being rushed. Would highly recommend this clinic and any of these Physicians!

I also have to take a moment and recognize someone who I believe is quite possibly the kindest person I've ever known. Her name is Esteliz Gillett and she is Dr. Ogden's PA. She is a remarkable human being. My daughter was beginning to have body image issues and was self conscious about her weight. I'm so thankful the staff at the office recommend we have a visit with PA, Ms. Gillett. She is a health and nutrition wizard!! This woman spent an hour with my daughter, building her up, giving tips and advice on healthy choices, and when we left, my daughter was feeling like she was on top of the world and could conquer ANYTHING. I literally bawled my eyes out at I listened to the loving words she was speaking into my girl. I swear, you'll MEVER meet anyone like her. Meet her.
