As a first-time home buyer, I had very little awareness about the home-buying process and what I…read morewas getting myself into. Adam and his team brought a level of experience and patience that made the process so much less stressful than it would have been otherwise. Some highlights: - Pre-approval came with a portal my realtor could use to quickly generate approval letters. - They didn't hound me for updates while I took my time looking for the right house. - When I needed to make an offer quickly, Adam made himself available to answer questions and get me an updated approval letter. - They took the initiative to lock me into a great rate and shared information about my loan in a dashboard that was slick and easy to understand. - They answered all my questions in a timely fashion (even the SUPER dumb ones) and never made me feel ignorant or insecure. - When issues came up with the appraisal, Adam stepped in to address my concerns and the issue. Overall, the Styer team made the process as seamless as possible, and I'm grateful for it. Thank you to Adam, Stevin, and Amelia!

He was recommended by our realtor and was VERY easy to work with. We were able to accomplish most everything for our purchase through email and he provided helpful guidance on our unique employment situations. Now, 7 years later, he just helped us close on the purchase of our second home. We did do some price shopping across a few lenders, but chose Steve based on his expertise, ease of working with, and his rates were competitive. Again, we were able to achieve most everything electronically (how convenient!) and things went smooth and fast. Thanks, Steve! - Stephen and Ashley

No It was during one of my initial conversations with Mark that I expressed how important it was to me that my loan was serviced with a reputable provider and that I worried about it getting sold and causing me issues down the line.  I had done my previous mortgage loan through Wells Fargo and since it was a large bank they managed my mortgage loan and it was really smooth. Unfortunately, I had heard horror stories from friends and coworkers who didn't go through large banks and had their loans sold only to experience issues down the line. Mark assured me that mortgage loans almost always were sold and that it wouldn't cause issues for me. He was 100% wrong. My loan was sold shortly after we purchased the home and Mark or someone from his team wrote down our address incorrectly on the paper work. This caused our mortage paperwork to be mailed to our neighbor. I almost missed my first mortgage payment because the information on how to pay was only included in the mail that had been incorrectly sent to my neighbor. I had to spend several hours on hold to track down what had happened to my paperwork and retrieve my account number. I thought I had it all corrected and now yearly a year later I had to spend 10 hours on the phone with the mortgage provider becuase they incorrectly dispersed my property taxes to the wrong account because of that initial paperwork that was incorrectly filled out during the loan transfer. We made it clear with Mark, we did NOT want to deal with our loan being sold to a horrible loan service provider. Lo and behold, it was, and it's caused us a lot of pain. With so many lending people to work with, I would not recommend Mark. Find someone else.
