The office staff have always been amazing as well! From the medical assistants to the front desk. Can't say enough good things. Always prompt to pick up the phone, short hold times, I can always reach someone which is huge! My appointments are always scheduled, never any issues with that. They inform me promptly if there are any changes to coverage and call for reminders which is nice. Billing is never an issue as well. Overall highly recommend the practice! First of all, I've never seen an urgent care clinic that offers urgent care to people to people making appointments and those as usual walking in. We arrived at 7:50 am right before the place opened. We finally went to the desk and asked about this. She said your wait time will be over an hour, this is how it works, do you want to make an appointment and come back? That's fine, but this should have all been explained in the beginning! What a waste of time! Especially sitting there as sick as I was. We returned later, during/after the visit was an extreme lack of communication. I asked the Dr. to write me a note for work. She never gave me instruction to wait in the room or returned promptly. I'm totally out of it and very sick left the building and went to the car. 2 minutes later realized I didn't have the note and asked my mom to go to the front desk and get it. My mom did. The front desk lady told her too bad, the doctor is now with someone else. You will have to come back and wait to get it!!!! I HAVE ALREADY BEEN HERE TWICE TODAY THAT IS NONSENSE! In addition, the icing on the cake.. for the medication I so badly needed... my mom filled out paperwork when we there originally at8am. Gave 2 pharmacy options; WALGREENS ON DEVON (24 hour... in case we finished early and could go get it right away) and OSCO on Busse Highway with normal business hours. At the end of appointment, she told the doctor and front desk MULTIPLE times please send to Osco since they are now open. They assured her they would. Of course they didn't.... they sent my medicine to Walgreens ON TOUHY. I'm lucky I have texts set up from Walgreens that gave me the address or I would have never know. And been driving all over the place with 104 fever!!!! Not happy. Will never return. Later that night, throat was so swollen, went to the ER. Doctor said it was so bad he didn't understand why the urgent care doctor didn't prescribe steroids. Also I had a mono test at Urgent care which came back negative. ER doctor assumes I have mono as well (because he actually touched my abdomen unlike the other doctor) it was very tender and swollen. Said that often the quick read mono tests provide false readings. Don't sacrifice your patience or health by coming to Presence.

The examination itself was limited to vital signs. Dr. Szabo then indicated that she would return shortly, but instead a nurse entered the room. I asked the nurse whether Dr. Szabo could return to address my remaining questions, and the nurse stated that she would locate her. After waiting an additional 30 minutes without an update, we left the examination room and observed Dr. Szabo at her workstation. When the nurse again attempted to check whether Dr. Szabo was available, Dr. Szabo screamed/responded harshly that I "was supposed to leave 30 minutes ago." At that point, my remaining questions had still not been addressed, and I left the office without receiving the consultation expected from the visit. Including commute time, the appointment required nearly two hours and concluded without resolution of my medical concerns.
