I walked in the store and was greeted almost immediately by a very nice employee. She asked me if she could help me find anything or if I was looking for anything in particular. I answered that I was just browsing. At that moment I just happened to look down at my shoes and saw that there was some thing ugly looking on the sole of my shoe. The employee also looked at my shoe and saw what I was looking at. She offered to go get me some tissue. That's exactly what she did. She brought back tissue for me so that I could wipe my shoe off. I hobbled out of the store because I did not want what was on my shoes to remain on the floor of the store. Outside of the store I cleaned off my shoe, threw away the tissue and then came back into the store to continue perusing the items. I had a very good experience, and as I walked all around the store another employee also asked me if I needed some help. There were several customers in the store and people were browsing around looking so it wasn't like I was the only person in the store that the employees were just trying to "over help". I've been shopping here for 2 years. I buy a new purse or wallet once or twice a year. I don't understand the comments about rude employees or not treating minorities badly. It's a mixed minority store and I've always had great interactions with friendly employees. They don't follow you around which is preferred but are free for assistance when you need them. And their sales are AMAZING. I've walked out paying $99 for a purse that was originally $329 and a $25 wallet originally $100. read more

I have loved Michael Kors for a long time. I absolutely love their items, including their handbags, but I don't always like spending an arm and a leg to get them. Thankfully, the Bluegrass Outlet stores were born, with Michael Kors being one of them. At this outlet, I can always find prices that are SO much cheaper. And not only that, but they have so many cute styles in store...not just the older ones. I purchased a handbag from here last year, and is still in perfect condition. The store is really nice. They have a nice clean store and greet you as soon as you go in the door. I actually went in because I was in search of a wallet. I don't know if they carry men's wallets. Did walk around and try to find the Mens side of this store. To my surprise there wasn't one. But hey a guys gotta try right? Lol Then of course I asked the nice polite lady that greeted me and asked her what I was looking for. She said I don't think we have any wallets. She did walk to where an associate told her we have this. She brought over a men's wallet and showed it to me. Sad to say it looked like a wallet from Walmart that had "Michael Kors" printed on it. I mean I know this is an outlet but damn! Lol you would think they would not put this out on the floor. They did though. Come on! I know this store is not meant for men. My daughter and i went in the store a while back in hopes of getting a tote with a strap, to which the had just come out with new red ones. My daughter asked the lady how much the different sizes where due to not have prices on them. Her reply was "High"...I first thought the lady was speaking to my daughter because she kept say "hi" . So when she clarified what she was saying it pissed my daughter and I off. I heard in the past that the brand it self prefers not to sell items to the black community, BUT in this case it was a entitled black lady that was helping us that looked at my daughter and I and decided we could not afford anything over $50. Visited the store with my parents during my trip back to KY. I was genuinely shocked by how the employees treat minority customers here. We weren't greeted when we walked in, while there were plenty of staff just hanging out in the store, not one person greeted us or asked if we needed help finding anything. So i thought maybe this is just how the MK outlet stores are ran. You pay a discounted price for discounted customer service. Soon enough, a white lady walks in and i see her been greeted by the staff and asked if she needed help finding anything. MK, please treat all your customers the same way. read more

In town for a week for a convention, we decided to hit the mall for a few hours. The MK store was bright, clean, and well stocked. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. While checking out, we mentioned that we were from out of town, and they started offering dining suggestions. They were even kind enough to write a list for us without us asking for it. According to Yelp, their recommendations were on point. So far we've dined at one, and it was delicious! Great service provided by the employees! read more

I love the bags but this store never treats me well. I honestly don't understand why nothing has been done about this staff because this store is known for ignoring minority customers until we get to the counter. The first time I experienced this outlet store; I tried to make an excuse for them but during my second visit I was treated the same- ignored while employees just stood around bored. So I just went right over to Coach and found a cute bag there. I've even watched non-minority customers walk in shortly after me and they were cheerfully greated. They were even approached and asked how they could be helped. This store is horrible & extremely rude so I just get my Micheal Kors bags from the Dillard's in St Mathews Mall. The staff is extremely friendly. Everyone was upbeat and just plain nice. I know it is their job but they were asking about my day and about my outfit. They were better than normal sales people, I really felt like I was in an upscale store shopping as a client with one on one attention. I've read some of the comments on here about how the staff is so called "racist" and I highly disbelieve that. I have been in this store probably a hundred times and I have always been helped and greeted. Before you think "she's white", you thought wrong because I am black and I have never ever been treated any differently than any other person who walked through that door. I went into this store on November 30 to make a large purchase. There were 3 young female employees standing near the watches talking to each other. Even though I wandered around the store from front to back several times and picked up several items, they did not stop their conversation to assist me.
