This is probably the biggest MK store in San Diego. I enjoy my time shopping here. They always have really good sales and great products! I found my passport holders here, they are so cute and great material. Yesterday they had a salsa & chips bar along with some wine. I highly recommend shopping here if you like MK. read more

I live in north county and my mom was in town visiting from Newport and wanted to check out the outlet by the border since she got tired of Carlsbad outlet. We went into Michael Kors and everything looked cheap. The styles and colors. But I guess that's normal. Anything that doesn't sell at the dept stores get sent there. I ended up buying her a lemon coin purse from Michael Kors, but she changed her mind the next day. We came back to return it and the lady with short bleached blond hair and glasses was weird about it. She inspect it and then had to show it to her manager? What the heck?? It's a cheap coin purse worth $50 and purchased just a day ago. Didn't have enough time to even take it out of the bag. LMAO I guessed they don't like returns. Overall, the service was bad and the styles/ colors look super cheap but then again it's Michael Kors LOL!!! read more

So me and my two sisters walked in this morning not really having an idea on what we were looking for but one of the representatives i believe his name was george or jorge in the mens section provided phenomenal customer service he was SUPER kind! He helped us so much making decisions also informing us on all the deals going on! He was literally going around the store for us to show us things in different sizes and colors! I visited this location for the first time ever with my older sister tonight. She was looking for a crossbody type bag and a wallet to match. We were instantly greeted upon walking in. We browsed and she saw a bag she liked. We went on to look for a wallet to match but unfortunately there weren't any. She then told me I could pick out a bag as well. I saw a style I liked but wanted a brown color. An associate by the name of Lala assisted me. She even went to the back to see if they had the brown of the style I liked. She returned with one and I was so happy. We went on to pay and I noticed a little chip by the hardware. Lala had no problem with asking another associate to bring me another. I inspected it and it was good. The crossbody was still wrapped and all. Thanks Lala for the pleasant shopping experience. I do have one suggestion and that would to possibly make the waiting line to pay a little wider. My sister who I was with is wheelchair bound and I know she didn't feel comfortable waiting in line to pay and stayed off to the side. Other than that, I would come back. I always only come here during Black Friday, and their sales are AMAZING. Usually about 70% off their products. And they always a lot of great selection. For example, I got a wristlet that usually costs $120 for only $40. And a cross body purse that usually costs $300+ for only $80. The store is big and spacious, but definitely extra crowded during sale season, but at least they hold lines to control the crowds. And you have a long time to return items if you don't want it anymore. Plus they give free gift boxes! read more

I figure the prices would be more expensive then Like Macy's but what do I know about Purses . I've always been able to find what I'm looking for and leave with a better deal than expected. Keep in mind this is an outlet store and it may not have current styles. I've shopped at this store multiple times and have always had great customer service. I like how there's always some sort of discount on top of the already low prices ( when I say low I mean for the brand). For Mother's Day I bought a handbag and a clutch for the mommy's and it was a total of $80 with tax. Today also went back to get the mommy's matching wallets for their handbags $60!!! I usually just browse the selection when I'm here, but on Labor Day weekend I snagged a cute little purse that was marked down 70%! One simply could not pass up on that opportunity, especially if it's a genuine leather bag. Huge thanks to Lupita for doing the calculations and helping me narrow down my choices. Sure made me feel like a valued customer! Cassandra assisted me on checkout. She even polished a spot that I thought was scratched - thankfully it came off with their leather cleaner. I braved the madness of outlet shopping on the day after Christmas and I don't regret coming!! I found great deals and a very helpful staff. As busy as it was, Diana took the time to price check something for me and answer my questions with a smile. There was a scuff mark on one of the bags and the cashier whipped out cleaner and got it off for me. I will NEVER shop at a Michael Kors outlet store again especially this one! Employees are rude along with the manager. They ignore you unless you speak there language not very friendly. Wanted to return purse I bought 2 weeks ago and try to tell me it was used and I could not have a refund or a store credit. I gave them a piece of my mind and I got my store credit which IS BULLSHIT! Went inside today with family to look at a watch as a gift for a relative. Ended up walking out with the watch and 2 more cute handbags! Sales are great. A sales associate named Hiram was so helpful and attentive! He got us the handbags we wanted from the back in such a timely manner, and he also helped us choose a women's watch. Decided to skip the inevitable long lines at this Michael Kors outlet store and dropped by the day before Thanksgiving. Parking was great, crowds were non-existent, and more importantly, I was able to shop in peace. Not sure what deals were available on Black Friday, but 40-50% off was not something to scoff at on a regular shopping day. Granted, prices are still a bit steep, but quality is not cheap. The bag has to last years and years and years! The store itself is typical of any high-end (but outlet) store. Decked in white, music blaring, attentive staff hovering, last season's merchandise all tagged and displayed appropriately. Time certainly and pleasantly well spent shopping at this store. read more

New location, horrible service!! Just went in wanting to buy a purse and a watch. The guy outside told me to wait "in line" btw, no one else was in line and I was alone... 5 seconds later a guy opens the door and says, "do you want to come in?"... Umm Yeah?!?! Also, NO ONE greeted me while 4 people watched me walk in.. Maybe I looked young or poor but shit, I was ready to spend about $500. I went next to a guy recovering, and I was touching and looking at a purse, nothing. Passed the watches, nothing. Walked around the entire store twice, nothing. I met good and bad employees, but the good ones really were fantastic! I was struggling on which purse to decide and they were so kind and patient. They gave me their honest opinions the entire time. I love my new straw beach bag! I'm so glad that they were able to find a bag in the back instead of the one on display.. Also, it may seem that they follow you around, but that's how these stores customer service works. They are suppose to be ready to help any client. WOW! to describe one of the best shopping experiences is tough since thanks to Jackie my wife ended up getting her Christmas wish come true. I have been searching for a particular purse and called this particular store 3 days in a row and several times. Jackie helped me with every single phone call and was not only a true professional and very polite but so helpful. She even took a picture of the purse that we both thought was the one and sure enough it was. I wish this review could give her more credit then what my words can accomplish since she went beyond the extra mile.
