If you plan to come here for a consult, you will need to clear at least 2 solid hours from your day, if not more. And that 4 minutes cost me $89. I am here to prevent you from learning the same $89 lesson that I just learned. As soon as the dentist recommended full, unconscious IV sedation during minute 3 of our conversation, I knew this was not about me and my teeth but about dollar signs. I am upset with my general dentist for even referring me here!

Instead, I saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes where he recommended I schedule ANOTHER appointment to have the work done that my dentist's office clearly told them to do already. This is nothing short of a billing game to charge $89 for an unnecessary visit and a complete waste of time. This is a clear example of why medical costs are so high. I recommend taking your business to a provider that is interested in performing work for the fees they charge.

I made sure to follow their refund protocol exactly as stated. I decided to file a formal complaint with the BBB and requested formal documentation on the submitting of a refund to my insurance company. I have documented all contact with this office and have a paper trail. I will look into the next steps to get this resolved. I'm a middle school teacher and I will have to teach without teeth because of them!

The doctor seems very savvy and knowledgeable, and is willing to offer good care suggestions and answer all my questions. If you are looking for a new dentist, call Dr. Roger Paul's office for an appointment. Also, there is good parking near the door, which I need. You don't even have to ask for toothpaste, brushes, or floss. It is all available as needed in the reception area.
