He's kind, explains everything, goes at a good pace so you can't overthink it and has a great sense of humor. I'd go to him again for sure and I recommend him for everyone. The office experience I would give a 1 or 2 stars. Here are some tips: 1) When you schedule your appointment, ask for the estimated bill then, not when you show up for your appointment so that you know exactly what you need to pay beforehand. I was shocked and surprised by the steep out-of-pocket cost, but since you're there for your appointment you can't challenge or back out. If cost is an issue for you, I would recommend that you check with other dentists too because some of the codes that are used is not covered by insurance. 2) I would ask to see the codes that are being used for billing when you get your estimate. I saw afterwards that one was wrong. When it was corrected it meant that I had a $229 refund. Mistakes happen, challenge if you believe there was a mistake. 3) I had to chase for my refund multiple times. Not a great office experience tbh.

No joke, this was the most pleasant, professional, pain free dental experience in every sense of the word. The front office is a well oiled machine and Dr Baird himself is a genius. Of my three wisdom teeth, I think two were pretty severely impacted and had to come out in bits and everything went more flawlessly than I could imagine. The recovery had virtually no pain which I didn't think was possible after surgery. I was prepared for torment and intense discomfort. Nope. Just some swelling, medication, soft foods, instructions on how to wash with a syringe after a week or so and I was set. I found Dr Baird's office through Yelp, so I just wanted to add my two thumbs up here to help out other Yelpers.

The Stanford surgeon deem a "wait and see" case. I consulted with another surgeon and he was surprised that we were referred to Stanford. He said the bone mass is a typical calcification and we should not be concerned. All this took money and time that did not need to be expended. Fast forward a year, my daughter was advised to have her wisdom teeth removed before college. I chose Dr. Boghossian due to proximity to our house and the high yelp ratings. He scanned her mouth and discovered "an extra tooth" embedded in the other side of her lower gums as the first bone mass. This time he said it had to get removed, so he cut into it but decided the tooth was too small to be removed and refunded me back the $1,400. I again talked to my oral surgeon for a second opinion and he was again surprised that Dr. Boghossian decided to operate. He said he would have waited for the tooth to erupt and the removal would have been easier and healing faster. So my daughter endured unnecessary pain for no reason and she will still have to go through another procedure down the line. This is all to say that this surgeon overly-diagnoses and is either too cautious or more interested in charging $ than choosing the best option in the interest of the patient. I am disappointed and would not be using him in the future.

I was originally referred to a different oral surgeon, but deep down I knew I could not go through with it because I did not feel comfortable. By chance, I reconnected on Facebook with my former dental hygienist who knows my anxiety well. She immediately understood and strongly recommended Dr. Reddy. She even reached out to him personally to let him know about my fears. When I met Dr. Reddy the very next day, I instantly felt at ease. His calm demeanor, compassion, and genuine understanding of dental anxiety made all the difference. When I asked when the procedure could be done, he surprised me by saying, "How about now?" I chose to have only local numbing and truly did not feel a thing. Dr. Reddy and his assistants kept me calm and distracted the entire time. The follow-up care was just as impressive, with a video check-in one week later and an in-person visit the following week. I am so grateful I found Dr. Reddy, and I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone who feels anxious or fearful about dental procedures.

If you are looking for the absolute best dentist in the Bay Area, look no further than Dr. Linda…read moreMiyatake. I have a genuine phobia of dentists, so needing to have two wisdom teeth removed was an incredibly stressful situation for me. Before finding Dr. Miyatake, I visited two other doctors, but I left both offices feeling uncomfortable and anxious. The moment I met Dr. Miyatake, everything changed. She is truly the opposite of every "scary" dentist stereotype. Here is why I recommend her to everyone: Amazing Personality: She is incredibly kind and always laughing, which immediately put my mind at ease. Professional & Detailed: She is very detail-oriented and clearly knows exactly what she's doing. She explained everything thoroughly. Pain-Free Experience: She made the entire extraction process so smooth and, most importantly, completely painless. For the first time, I felt like I could actually trust a dentist. If you have dental anxiety or just want a professional who truly cares about her patients, please go see her. She is a gem!

PLEASE READ PRIOR TO COMMITTING TO THIS DOCTOR. Just like the other reviews have mentioned - this…read moredoctor is a scammer, disrespectful to her patients, and extremely unprofessional. I paid $175 out of pocket for another 3D x-ray to "locate my nerves," only for her to end up extracting one wisdom tooth instead of 2. She claimed that she couldn't take out my impacted wisdom tooth that has been causing me pain and took out the tooth that wasn't causing ANY ISSUES... told me I need to pay almost $800 for this ONE extraction. I asked to be referred to another doctor to take out the bottom tooth or if she could take it out and she told me I need to go back to my dentist for this referral. She also said " You need to be nice to the doctors or they won't take out the tooth for you." She then took it even further and blamed me for not getting my wisdom teeth, extracted earlier/ in my teens - stating that my bones are too hard and it's too difficult for her to take out my impacted tooth. Anybody with common sense knows that as we age, our teeth grow and bone hardens. As a former medical sales rep, I saw right through her tactics and sending patients to get another 3-D x-ray is all a referral network for her and the x-ray business to make more $$$. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE for your safety and sanity! She continuously interrupts patients when they are trying to speak or ask clarifying questions, and uses a bunch of anatomical filler words to try to make herself seem smart smarter than she is. Do not come here!!!!!!
