Whoever said bed side manner is a thing of the past has obviously not been to Dr. Cindy Parnes…read more She's pleasant, thorough, and calls back! Her staff is sweet, professional and her office does not have that assembly line feel that has become quite commonplace. Dr. Parnes really cares and takes her time with you to discuss everything. I highly recommend her. Her offices are beautiful and she's just all around awesome.

The doctors we choose can help make the transitions through this journey uncomplicated and positive. I would be doing a disservice to myself and to others if I didn't share my opinion about the excellent care and experience I have received from Dr. Cindy Parnes and her entire staff. As a relatively new patient, Dr. Parnes kindly accepted me where several other doctors rejected me as a new patient. Having concerns regarding menopause and feeling too young to accept these changes, Dr. Parnes kindly and professionally addressed my concerns and came up with an effective game plan changing the course of my unhappy situation into one that continues change for the better. We are all unique and different and Dr. Parnes certainly evaluates her patients with that in mind. Her strong confidence, knowledge, and kindness leaves me feeling like I received the latest in medical trends and feeling secure that I am in good hands and the recipient of excellent care. In addition, Dr. Parnes has referred me to Dr. Nirman Tulsyan, a board-certified vascular surgeon. Along with age, menopause, teaching for 31 years, and working out with heavy weights, ugly spider veins became another concern that I didn't want to live with. Dr. Parnes was so enthusiastic to inform me that I did not have to and that insurance would most likely cover the procedure after an ultrasound was preformed. After meeting Dr. Tulsyan who traveled to the Montvale, NJ office to discuss my vein situation I eagerly signed up for the procedure continuing my quest for excellence and striving for total well being. Dr. Tulsyan's calming nature creates an excellent environment for those of us who can be a little apprehensive with the unknown. His excellent listening skills and approachable personality as well as his excellent team performed this procedure on me four times and each time I was confident knowing I was safe and well taken care of. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be treated by these exceptional doctors.

I did not have the same experience as the other posters. I originally called for an appt. with Dr…read more Hainer since she was recommended to me, but it was a much longer wait for her vs. a NP. Since it was just for an annual visit and I'm flexible I agreed. Long story short, I saw Michele Jackson Newman, NP, yesterday and left floating on a cloud. I've been struggling so much with feel "unheard" or "dismissed" from my PCP and other specialist while on my perimenopausal journey. She spent time listening to me and guiding me as to next steps. It was the first time in a long time I've felt so seen by a medical provider. Additionally, the front desk/nursing staff were kind and personable. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.

Stay away from this place. Had a horrible experience with the whole office and the Nurse…read morePractitioner Danielle Miller. They don't tell you that they use out of network labs, so you end up with a thousand dollar bill. They make you wait like an hour in the waiting room. They're in the dark ages and don't use any online portal. They didn't even give paperwork to fill out with medical history, meds, etc. The NP asked during the appointment, but got tired and made me stop. I emailed her test results from when I was at urgent care. She told me to schedule a difficult procedure with Dr. Hainer (without even meeting her). The scheduler never called me back and was never available. I started looking for another gynecologist. Two months later, Danielle emailed me, randomly asking me to email her my test results. So basically she never took proper notes during my appt, never actually saved my test results, and had no idea she told me to schedule the procedure. I emailed her back and brought up the out of network lab situation, and I was ignored for a week. I had to email again and she finally responded. Mind you, it's not her personal email and the whole office ignored me. Anyway, she told me that the lab works something out with my insurance. That doesn't even make any sense. I replied and told her that I don't have out of network benefits, and asked what exactly she was talking about. She said she wasn't sure and that I should call the lab myself. Unbelievable. It's shocking how completely incompetent she is and how useless the whole office is. Never going back again. Ridiculous.

Well, I'm definitely proud to be the first to review! My doctor is Lynnea Carstens and seriously,…read moreyou gotta love her! I also want to mention that the staff is always so nice to me (so far) and they're of help when I need it.. Especially when I needed a doctors note from another day that I went in for a check up and they were able to provide that. I love how waiting area is always clean and actually very quiet. When I first went there, that isn't what I expected at all.. Only because the media loves to perceive a gynecologists office as a hell hole with a bunch of annoying pregnant women but nope not that the case at all. I also love that I'm never waiting a long time to be seen unlike the regular doctors office where I'm waiting 20 minutes because the doctor is taking his/her sweet time. I hope I'm living in the area even after marriage so Lynnea can be my doctor through pregnancy. I've become so comfortable with her (she just makes it so easy) and it'll take a while for me to become comfortable with another doctor if I ever move. If you're in the Suffern area and seeking an awesome OBGYN, see Carstens! On Sunday, I discovered a lump, Monday she was able to see me AND scheduled an appointment with a breast specialist right then and there and that breast specialist is very booked. She prioritizes health, that is so important!

The office staff is nasty and rude and it is impossible to make an appointment. Each time I am tempted to go elsewhere. When they send you an appointment card and you call, the appointments are already booked and the books are closed. When you call back on the supposed date , they say call again in another month. This goes on and on...The actual date may be 6 months after the initial attempt. Oftentimes, they ask you to leave a recorded message and no one calls back. This is no way to provide health care. If you are a new patient please go elsewhere.
