If I wanted to move forward with the other surgeries, they should follow. He advised that a quote would be emailed, which never arrived. I called the office the following week and the receptionist made excuses for the business manager, who was to forward the quote. She'll be back in the office Monday and you'll receive the details then, yet no email arrived. I called a week later and my calls (phone number) had, apparently, been programmed to go sraight to voicemail automatically. I understand that Dr. Chin didn't want to move forward, but why wouldn't he simply just say this during the consultation, e.g., 'I don't believe you're a good candidate for this procedure.' or 'I don't think I'm the right doctor to proceed with this. Let me recommend someone else.'?? In fact, he ended the consultation with "Yes, we can definitely do this. The front desk will provide a quote and schedule, if you want to proceed." Based on this experience, he and his front desk staff were lieing to my face (and ears), which was both frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. If Dr. Chin didn't want to do it, he should just say so and/or have his staff advise. At least, he could show a little respect for others. He should not take people's money (the consultation fee isn't cheap), then lie to them and have your staff lie, as well. If you want an MD like this, he'll happily take your money! I'd rather trust my surgeon, one with integrity and basic respect for potential clients (patients).

I clearly told the secretary I was 18 and had a skin tag or accessory Tragus on one of my ears SINCE BIRTH. Obviously I am too young to have actually grown a skin tag on my ear. The uninformed staff told me it would cost 75-150 to get it removed and that it could be removed on the day of my visit. I scheduled and came in right on time for my appointment. After I filled out my forms they made me wait an entire hour before doctor would see me. Now the doctor only talks to me for literally a minute and tells me it's going to cost 600. I only brought 200 on me because of this uninformed staff telling me it would cost 75-150. I decide to leave, I can't get it removed today, and the same staff that took my call tells me that I need to pay the consultation fee. Somethings that made this visit very unpleasant: -Staff clearly tells me that it's going to be 75-150 for the procedure but does not even know what she is talking about. She should not have even told me a price to begin with, every other clinic required me to talk directly with their doctor or send in a picture of the tragus before a price range was established. -I go there, which by the way is a 30 minute drive from my house, pay for parking, and wait an extra hour for the doctor to see me for a minute and tell me a wayyyy different price. On top of that I have to pay a fee just for the doctor to tell me this other price. Very greedy business, does not seem like doctor or staff really cares. Seems like they told me a good price just for me to come over so they can take my consultation fee. Ashamed.

Kat picked me up from my major elective surgery and took the absolute best care of me for five days. I was coming in from out of town and stayed at a facility nearby the surgery center that she recommended (Hideaway House in San Jose- it was perfect), where she stayed in another bedroom.
