Surgery had to be rescheduled after waiting for months because they didn't have an anesthetist covered by insurance. The estimate was wrong, and I kept getting hit with unexpected bills, one of which came 10 months after the procedure. The procedure also failed and had to be redone. I would never go back here or recommend them to anyone. What an awful ordeal. I'm looking forward to being a year out from the procedure so I can be sure they won't send me anymore bills.

Earlier this week I had a consult to discuss bonding, which seemed to go well, and I signed a quote from the receptionist, Alicia, for around $1700 for everything. Two days later I received an email, rather than a call, stating that they had made a mistake. I was okay with paying a bit more if necessary, so I wasn't concerned until I saw that they had doubled the cost to $3500. Alicia never took direct accountability for quoting me the wrong amount, instead saying that she was "sorry that an inaccurate price was quoted" as if it wasn't her mistake. There have been a lot of minor issues, like rescheduling me last minute, that I have looked past because I understand that things happen, but the way this situation was handled showed a lack of care that is extremely disappointing.

The office also referenced a February 17, 2025 appointment that was supposedly canceled outside the policy, but the first text communication I ever received from them was dated February 25, 2025, and I never received any reminder or text regarding a February 17 appointment. ^^ I looked back and it looks like I did have an appointment on February 17 that I scheduled via phone call. On Monday, February 16 I was at Swedish hospital with my two young kids who were just diagnosed with flu A. It knocked us out as a family for two weeks! So that is why I did not make my February 17, 2025 appointment. So I guess they did give me a courtesy cancellation.... However it just feels like another dentist office trying to screw people over. Because this office is out-of-network for our insurance, the visit was already fairly expensive. I was very comfortable during the whole procedure and could tell that he was being very thorough. It is evident that he takes tremendous pride in his work, and he has a beautiful office and practice to show for it. It's definitely no accident that his team is comprised of the kind, communicative people I had the pleasure of interacting with; dental work/root canals can be stressful, but I never once felt stressed in his team's care. The billing department was simple to work with and handled my insurance seamlessly. Rio called me to assure all my information was correct and to had a quote of my bill in time for me to review before my appointment.
