The first time we went to see him, he said we wouldn't have to come back until two years later. When it was time to put the braces on, he gave us three options, explained the differences, and told us to go home and think about it. I never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us, or just get as much money as possible. I like that in an orthodontist. His office is updated and tech savvy. While, I don't know how important that is for actual braces application, it does make the office visits, and process seamless. You check in at a kiosk, always in and out quick. X-rays and prognosis high tech. Email and phone reminders, etc. For a person who forgets what she came downstairs for, these reminders are useful. Did I mention there are always cookie? Uh...important!!! If you want an orthodontist and office staff that are knowledgeable, up to date, not sales people, and offers cookies, this is the ortho for you. The price also seems on par with what others are paying for similar treatments. So, it doesn't seem you have to pay a premium for the technology or cookies. Score!!!!

They were knowledgeable in all of my questions and concerns and took the time to walk me thru the financials. He isn't the type of orthodontist that rushes thru a consultation and tries to feed you unnecessary treatment, but rather an orthodontist that truly cares about the expectations and wants of the patient and finding a happy medium with the type of treatment he recommends. I have not started treatment as of yet, but I highly recommend those that are seeking an orthodontists to give this office a call.

It cost me $5,000 (on top of the $3000 i paid them) more dental work in the form of an extraction and an implant. They never acknowledged responsibility, they gaslit me (They told me that braces don't move the teeth. Ok, then why do you have a business that singularly revolves around moving teeth? I truly thought that was a joke until I realized it wasn't), provided no apology, compensation or compromise to alleviate a problem they caused with their carelessness. I would choose a different provider. As an aside, I had braces (and headgear) for roughly 5 years when I was 10 and retainers after that. So, this wasn't my first rodeo.

Alright, this review is going to start at the beginning. I started coming here roughly 5 years ago…read more I hadn't been to the dentist in over 10 years. Everyone's mouth ages differently, and mine? Mine was a mess. I needed to have 2 major gum grafts, a few root canals, a few deep cleanings, many scaling's, fillings, etc. I am still nowhere near done, but I can solidly affirm the quality health care this place can provide. Due to the pandemic, staffing has been an absolute nightmare, everywhere. The Silverdale location is no exception. I have had to travel to Gig Harbor a few times to have a root canal and a crown done, because the Silverdale location had lost its dentist. The dentists and surgeons also are shared between the other locations, so I had a crown lengthening procedure done on my tooth at the location in Lynwood. With that being said, I have interacted A LOT with the staff at Bright Now Dental as a whole. From Silverdale, Gig Harbor and the Lynwood location, each person I interacted with was friendly and attentive. I was also very nervous each time I went in, but they made sure I understood what was happening and that I was in control. The crowns I have gotten are all excellently placed and were done using the latest scanning technology. The dentists, dental assistants and periodontists really know their stuff. I never felt like they didn't know what was going on. They accept insurance (I have Delta Dental) and they also allow you to sign up for Care Credit, which I did. I would recommend this place for sure. They have taken great care of my mouth and helped me get back on the road to recovery.
