The team did an INCREDIBLE job getting a 10' restoration hardware couch up 3 flights of stairs and into the narrow door of an apartment. They also plastic wrapped all furniture to protect fabric from dirt and damage. Moving was stressful for me and the team helped alleviate a lot of that stress knowing how skilled they were.

Response time to my inquiry and subsequent communication was great-and they actually contacted me the night before reminding me of the time they'd meet me and yep, they were on time. So far I have used them 3 times; house to storage and condo (which had stairs!), then condo to house, and finally storage to house. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their rates are. No surprises-they tell you up front what they charge and give you an estimate. If you want peace of mind with your move, this is the team to use. I really wouldn't even consider using anybody else and I could not be more pleased-they get my highest recommendation!

The only issue we had was the move got pushed back a day, but that was mostly due to another client being somewhat less that truthful about the amount of stuff they had, so the "small job" they were trying to do on the same day became a 12-hour ordeal for them. I get it, and it actually worked out fine. I have to say that William was more than accommodating, and the price was incredible! Completely blew everyone else out of the water! Bobby and Jeffrey, even though I knew they were exhausted, took the time to really put things where I wanted them, and helped me get a little bit sorted so I can live in the new place. I can't stress enough how much that helped me! I have a couple of physical issues, and I was pretty much done half-way through, but they just took care of it all, and now I can at least get ready for work in the morning. I HIGHLY recommend this company!!

I searched on Yelp for someone local and Family Moving has 5 stars so I gave them a call. I thought they'd have to come out and give me a quote but Susie helped me out on the phone. She asked me to explain the size of the condo and how much furniture and then told me she would send over 3 guys. They charge by the hour and there is a 3 hour minimum. She happened to have a day the following week available so I booked them. Three young men showed up right on time and got right to work. I honestly thought they would be moving slowly to try to get the price up but they were quick and efficient. They wrapped a couple of glass shelves I was starting to wrap on my own - I didn't realize that was included! Once they got to my home on the other side with my hubby they were just as quick and efficient. He even asked them to help out moving a piece of furniture that we had in a room that we needed moved to another room and it was no problem at all.
