I went to the Philadelphia Welsh Rd. location. My periodontist was Jonathan Friedman. He was…read morefriendly, funny, and easy to work with. He explained everything in detail about the the implant procedure before I had it done. It was quick and painless. He is very precise and great at what he does. The rest of the staff is also quite nice and helpful. They really help put you at ease. The office has pretty decent hours and can usually work with your schedule, if you need to be squeezed in early in the morning or later in the evening. They communicated really well with my dentist, to make sure all my records were in order, and everyone did their part correctly. Dr. Friedman also helped modify my mouth guard after the implant procedure (otherwise it would have been useless), which I appreciated. I hope I don't have to go back to a periodontist any time soon, but would definitely return here if I needed something done!

The downside, a major one, was that I was charged $80 for "Oral Hygiene Instructions". This fee was included in my estimate, but for a sum like that I expected a face to face with Dr. Khoury on how best to care for my teeth moving forward. So I never thought of questioning it. What I received was a plastic bag containing a toothbrush, floss, a small tube of toothpaste, a small bottle of mouthwash and instructions on how to brush my teeth. Exactly what you receive at no charge from any dentist's office upon completion of treatment. That's it. No meeting with Dr. Khoury, just a party gift. Although I disputed the fee, the best they would do is cut it in half. The office manager claimed that it's not against the law for such a fee. But there really is an ethical issue regarding the fairness of it. Especially when one takes into account the considerable expense of scaling and root planing. Do they really need to tack on an additional $80? For no service? Greedy, unethical and callous. Needless to say I won't be returning for any further treatment there.

I called her office and Dr. Armour took me almost right away and temporarily fixed my problem. It has been almost 2 year since I started to see Dr. Nicole Armour. I had bottom and top new crowns done, wonderful job she does! I am very happy with ALL my new teeth, and they look natural. She really holds your hand thorough the treatments, being available 24/7!! including weekends; responding in a few minutes if you have a problem or concern. I had a problem with my gums and right away they gave me an appointment and fixed my problem. You are never faraway from her while receiving a treatment at her office. She is caring, compassionate and understand the stress that we, patients have when having these kind of treatments. Also her staff is knowledgeable, friendly competent helpful and caring. Dr. Fingeret's office is pristine, welcoming, and doing great work during the pandemic. Every team member is thoughtful and quick, and the appointments almost always run on time. I know some folks get severe dental anxiety. I find going to the dentist relaxing, but if you suffer from said nervousness, this office is the place to be. Relaxing music, accommodating hygienists, and a calm doctor who always looks out for his patients. Dr. Fingeret is a genuinely caring doctor, and he doesn't put his patients through more stress or dental work than absolutely needed for a healthy smile. If you're one for consistency, I can say I'm always in the same exact exam and cleaning room, which may be a coincidence, but appreciated none the less. The parking situation is great, and the location is beautiful, right in the heart of historic Newtown. After your appointment, stroll next door for some ice cream or walk down the block to check out the many shops and small businesses on the main drag.
