Mia knows "meatballs!" Here, they are the real deal! Unquestionably authentic! This restaurant has been in business for 19 years! You have to be liked by the community to survive that long! It is a clean comfortable restaurant on highway 69 south of Pryor Creek OK. Their success is possibly due to the mildly to unseasoned home style versions of Italian food. I think the food is mildly seasoned to satisfy the local Okie palates. Some folks just don't like anything spicer than cream gravy. The lack of Italian flavor was prominent. I couldn't detect a hint of garlic, basil, or oregano in in anything served. The meals started with two small simple salads. Fresh, crisp with decent dressing. They were served with fresh made bread sticks sloppily drowned in olive oil. I went with a Chicken Parmesan and a side of Fettuccine. The chicken breast was a large thin slab, with a light egg battered, pan fried. An unseasoned tomato sauce and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese completed its transition to a Chicken Parmesan. Not a flavor tsunami, but a good portion of food. The fettuccine was fair. A little garlic would have helped to liven up both. My wife went with the Chicken Marsala. Very nice! It was also large chicken breast that had the black cross hatch branding from being grilled. It was covered in a delicious gravy with lots of fresh mushrooms. Her side was the spaghetti. Same bland tomato sauce as on my meal. The Marsala is a good 'ole Okie meat and gravy meal. Recommended! A side of mashed garlic potatoes would have made this perfect. Skip the Italian sides here and order fries! I don't think the food today was prepared by a "seasoned" Italian chef. A good liberal application of Italian spices is desperately needed.The locals probably wouldn't like it though? The authentic meat "balls" ; first item on the menu under "Entrees." Oh! My! Word! That was SO good. I had the steak kabobs and the hubby had shrimp fettuccine. Both were amazing. The staff was attentive and friendly. Our only problem was getting there. This venue definitely rates as "good enough". Located within walking distance of the Hampton Inn. One side of the restaurant is more like a restaurant while the other side is the bar which allows smoking. The people there seem to be locals and are quite friendly including the barmaid. I ordered the combo appetizer which was quite breaded, fried, yet filling. Also very reasonably priced. The bar selection is a bit limited. I believe the only scotch they had was Dewar white label for $5. They also seem to have a full menu which was reasonable. read more

Nice local restaurant within walking distance of my hotel. I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. I though it was very good. Others say the restaurant lacks flavor, but that was not my experience. Why wouldn't I give this place a v. good rating? Seated right away, clean, not too loud and well lit. Started with their dinner rolls that although wife Candy thought were too oily, I found so good with the garlic oil covering. I got the large Kansas strip which was succulent and Candy got the Ribeye. Ample fresh salads and a generous pour of red wine turned this sleepy little restaurant into a gourmet surprise. Seating and taking of order was swift. The coffee was yuge! The Ranch on the side salad was 100! I'm not a fan of bread sticks, but my Bride loved them. She said they were good. Now, the Rib Eye. I understand short handed due to COVID. BUT- only 4 tables were occupied and 3 people on the floor. I waited, and waited and then someone asks if I know what I want to order. My response: "Do Menus cost extra?" She hadn't even brought the menu. Then after I ordered a BLT, 20 mins later she still hadn't brought my water or drink. I never got my BLT because I got up, left money on the table for anything they thought I owed. AND LEFT! Never to return. Denny's next door was GREAT!!!! read more

You can't get a better steak without driving to Tulsa. Expensive, but steak always is. Their breadsticks are hot and full of flavor. Great prices on kids meals. I would give them five stars if they had more comfortable seating. read more

Menu is affordable, and serving sizes are not bad, depending on what you get. Breadsticks come free, I didn't try any but my companions sure enjoyed them. I got the grilled chicken dinner with veggies as my side, and ended up wishing I'd done the grilled chicken salad. The grilled chicken is not impressive in terms of size, and was pretty badly overcooked - still edible though I guess. The "bottomless" salad looked REALLY good, I would get that next time if I went back. Service was friendly and sweet, there were a couple times we had to actively flag them down though to get more water, checks, etc- just seemed like we didn't regularly have someone coming through to check on us. All in all, it was ok, but maybe I'll go back and see if this place deserves an update. read more

Hands down the best place in Pryor. My family and I are visiting from California for our aunt's funeral. As unfortunate as that already is, it happened to coincide with my birthday so we definitely werent in the happiest moods. 7 of us walked into the bar which is a smoking bar but was not overly smoky and the ladies in the bar were awesome. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and understanding. We were immediately served. The whole party is pretty particular about our drinks and they were very accommodating. Generous drinks for the price. More family showed up and the 10 of us eventually transitioned to a large table in the bar. The staff consistently checked on us and when we eventually ordered food(they never rushed us) it was prepared quickly, came out fresh and delicious. Highly recommend trying the calf fries. I've never had anything like them before but they were delicious. I don't recommend looking up the definition first or it may deter you, just shut up and eat it. Guarantee you won't regret it, but you will if you don't try it. After a long night of drinks and great food they surprised me with a delicious little chocolate mousse cake with a chocolate crumb crust and a nice birthday song. Ah! Scalding hot lasagna in all of its microwaved glory! It was OK, but I torched my entire mouth. (silly me) Too much sauce, not enough noodles. The salad tasted like the managers special at the supermarket. It was not very fresh and had lots of brown. I asked for extra tomatoes and got none. I asked again and received a small bowl of very old and visibly wrinkled cherry tomatoes. (no can do) The spinach dip was a science experiment. The shrimp cocktail was superb, very fresh and delicious. I also thought the breadsticks were exemplary. It took a while for someone to come out of the kitchen and seat me, but the service was OK considering the young inexperienced girls hired to work here. Prices were commensurate with the experience. Second time here, My wife had the lasagna, 1/2 portion, and it's large by most standards, I had the Quail with wild rice, both were AWSOME! Our server, Anna was just as awesome as the food, for being in the middle of the OKLAHOMA Prairie, in Pryor, the food here rivals anything in Tulsa, OKC, and even Kansas City, our home, Whenever you are in the area We Highly Recommend Mia's. HOLY COW !We travel all over the USA for our job workin at all the small towns in the country, and we ran across this little jewel in the eastern part of OK. Just discovered this gem and I don't live that far away! My bad!! Went there tonight and will be going back many times. The spinach dip with fresh made chips was excellent. The salad was good and crisp. I had the lasagna and husband had the spaghetti. Sooooo good and had enough left over for two meals. The bread was to die for!!
