Miami Open 2026 in full swing at Hard Rock Stadium. I went on opening day and unfortunately was raining most of the day and did not get to see any of the players or games. The rain could not stop me from enjoying all the fun and good vibes the Miami Open had to offer. Many food stands, live music and DJs, bars and plenty of sponsor stands. I picked up a lot of free goodies including my favorite hair brand Moroccanoil. Enjoyed the lounge area and arcades,The Cadillac stand where they had vehicles on display and even a racing simulator where you can drive the Miami Grand Prix circuit. Also the Piper Heidsieck sky view gondola ride with panoramic views of the tournament grounds. The entire ride was 25 minutes. Overall great experience just make sure you attend on a non rainy/lightning day lol.

This was my second time at the Miami open, and despite the rain, I still had an amazing time. Didn't get to see any tennis matches due to the rain, but still got to experience the Miami open events such as all the vendors, restaurants, bars, etc. I got so many free samples from the brands, and got to try so many yummy foods and drinks. I will say it's quite annoying how they close everything down when it's raining, even if it's a covered vendor, but I get it they have to play it safe.

I had the best time at the Miami Open this year! I was invited by my Pilates class for a mat session Sponsored by Moroccan oil , which was such a unique and fun way to kick off the day. After class, we had access to the grounds and matches which made the whole experience feel even more special. I got to watch Hailey Baptiste take on Aryna Sabalenka, and the energy was unreal. There's nothing like seeing that level of talent live the crowd, the intensity, everything just hits different in person. Of course, I had to make my rounds for food and stopped by Miami Slice and enjoyed a refreshing glass of Santa Margherita, which was the perfect combo while soaking in the atmosphere. Overall, such a fun, vibrant experience from start to finish. Between the wellness activation, great matches, and amazing food, it was a perfect day. I'll definitely be back next year

Fun campus. Other activities available. Thank goodness for the free sunblock. The Morrocan Oil booth was unexpected but a great addition.

I've had the opportunity to catch two days of Miami open so far. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for one of the three days I had tickets for. Opening day although also rainy was a good day. I had lots of fun and enjoyed the installations. I pre purchased the Ace of taste food pass which was a great move, as I was able to choose six places to sample food from. Cheeseburger baby, Miami slice, and Santo Dulce were my favs. With an honorable mention for Chugs who wasn't on the passport but the Mongolian beef pastries were soooo delicious! My drink of choice has been a paloma. Dobel tequilas rendition was a bit different in a good way. I enjoyed watching matches and interacting with people I've never met as we all buzzed about. If you've never attended, I highly recommend doing so.

This was my first time coming to the Miami Open pen and I enjoyed it. I loved how the tickets and parking were complimentary. There was entertainment and amazing vendors giving away great goodies. I also enjoyed the arcade and the photo ops around. We got there at 10 AM and were able to take some pictures before it rained. To drink, I had the Frose from Santa Margherita and I absolutely loved it. It was a great size and a decent price. It also came in a cute cup. The only bad thing about the event was that all the practices were canceled due to the weather. Despite it, I had a blast and plan to return.

The Miami Open professional tennis tournament annually every March is on the grounds of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The 4 Grand Slams are in Queens, Melbourne, Paris & Wimbleton. This is one of the largest tennis tournaments outside the Grand Slams drawing 64 top players from the ATP & WTA for 2 weeks. Itau, a Brazilian bank is this years sponsor. This temporary stadium is erected in the Dolphins Football Stadium with almost 14,000 center court sats & 5,000 in the grandstands and 30 permanent courts outside the stadium. We purchased our doubles semi quarter reserved seats months in advance. Parking was $40 for the day, discounted parking passes for $25 came with our package. Ground passes are the least expensive and Curbside box seats are pricey. We were happy to have grandstand seats in the shade, front & center court. There were Hispanic Heritage Days, Kids Day, Brazilian Heritage Day, Women's Empowerment Day, College Night & an Out in the Open Pride Day. Showcased were performances throughout the grounds, featuring local DJs & some Grammy-nominated musicians. Local artists & diverse designers created vibrant murals & art installations, with photo experiences were perfect for capturing the #Moment. I appreciate the vendors selling tennis focused items. The clothing, jewelry, visors ... all were very expensive and eye catching! Forty expensive upscale dining & beverage options were available throughout the tournament. Miami restaurants included were Fabel Middle Eastern, Omakai Sushi Japanese, Novecento Argentinian empenadas, Blue Stone Lane Australian, Casa Tua Cucina Italian, American Social, Angies Ice Cream, Benihana Asian, Bodega Taqueria y Tequilla Mexican, Ella's Oyster Bar, Farmstead chicken, Fatboy Smashburgers, Del Monte Smoothies, Italian ice, Miami Slice Pizza, Pan Venezuelan, Puffles Waffles & Ice Cream, Pincho Latin Street Food, Shula Burger, Some Q, Siggi's Parfaits, Stacked sandwiches, Suviche, Tacotomia, Talkin Taco's, Oakberry healthy, Kiki on the River Greek, and more. Portions were very small, prices very high and the food quality was sub par. The Ace Paloma was the cocktail of the Miami Open. We got to the Open at 11:00 and waited in long lines to park in the assigned yellow lot. We went through lots of security, having our bags hand searched and going through metal detectors. The matches didn't start until 1:00 so we explored shops, got samples & grabbed an expensive disappointing lunch. Players were warming up on the smaller courts. Happily our seats were in the shade. We were in row 25 for the semi finals and were able to see the players & balls clearly. We hours of tennis and all of the fans were courteous. Sanalenka beat Paolino, Mensik beat Fils and for our third match Djokovic beat Korda in a tie breaker.

Miami Open at Hard Rock: a world-class event in the wrong venue The Miami Open remains one of the premier tournaments in global tennis. But in its current setting at Hard Rock Stadium, it increasingly reflects a mismatch between product and infrastructure. Recent reports from 2026 describe chaotic organization, long lines, denied entry despite valid tickets, and an overall "unprofessional" experience for fans . Pro Football & Sports Network +1 This is not an isolated incident. It is systemic. A venue not built for tennis Hard Rock Stadium is a multi-purpose NFL venue adapted for tennis. But tennis requires: Fluid movement between courts Clear, walkable access Controlled seating in outer courts A distributed fan experience Instead, fans face: Long and confusing routes Overcrowded outer courts Poor access management Constant congestion The result: a fragmented and frustrating experience. Overselling and commercial pressure The day/night session model creates structural overload: Tickets exceed practical capacity Transitions between sessions break down Delays cascade into access restrictions This is not poor planning. It is revenue-driven design. Access control failures One of the most critical failures: Ticket holders denied entry No re-entry logic Inconsistent enforcement Beyond inconvenience, this raises serious safety concerns. The venue has previously faced crowd control issues in major events, highlighting that this is not a new challenge . Wikipedia The core issue: wrong venue The tournament's original home, Crandon Park, was purpose-built for tennis: Compact Walkable Fan-centered The move to Hard Rock solved legal and expansion issues--but not fan experience. More space, less identity. A better path forward 1. Reconsider a tennis-specific venue A purpose-built campus--whether in Key Biscayne or elsewhere--is the long-term solution. 2. Fix operational flaws now Limit overlapping sessions Improve digital access control Structure outer court seating 3. Put the fan back at the center Because without a good fan experience: the product eventually degrades, no matter how strong it looks on paper. Final take The Miami Open is still elite. But its current execution is flawed. Not because of tennis. Not because of players. Because of design, logistics, and priorities. And until that changes, the perception will remain: a world-class event, delivered with second-class execution.

Yes the miami open is an event I recommend for everyone. This is such a nice and unique tennis event that everyone can enjoy. They take over the hardrock stadium and fill it with everything tennis. The outside experience is great for on lookers and kids to walk around and enjoy the many different vender booths where there are activities, games, food, and drinks.

Thanks to our friends at Editor Ristorante & Pizzeria for the tickets to the Miami Open today! It's a beautiful day for PIZZA + tennis!

We are huge fans of live sports events and this is our first time to the Miami Open. It was a cool experience all in all. Our friends at Editor Ristorante & Pizzeria got us tickets for Grounds Passes to the event. This includes access to all campus competition courts, the Grandstand, practice courts, and all food/drink area. Parking was fully packed. We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday and parking lots were full. They guided us to the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex for overflow parking. It cost us $40 and they offered a shuttle that comes every 10 minutes to transport guests to the main entrance. Worth it. Otherwise, it would have been a lonnnnnng walk. It was a beautiful day to be outdoors enjoying these festivities. They really did an amazing job on the whole set up at Hard Rock Stadium. The food/drink areas were cool booth structures and looked like semi-permanent structures. Check out the photos. Very cool set up. Food was a bit pricey but to be honest, you have to expect to pay a ton of money for food & drinks when you attend these types of events. We got pizza from Editor Pizza for $13 per slice but they legit transported a whole pizza oven for this. Pizza came out super fresh and super hot. #worthit. We also got two massive double bacon cheeseburgers from Cheeseburger Baby at a whopping $24 per burger. To be fair, burgers were massive. These were for the kids. Not gonna lie, it was tasty. but so expensive still. Ha. There was an area with food trucks too. So much to choose from. My favorite part was all the cool stuff to see. I had ADHD walking around. So many cool photo opps. There was a Molecules art installation too. Loved the fake lotus flowers in the main fountain area. Bonus, my favorite sunscreen brand, La Roche-Posay had three different stations where they were handing out sample sized sunscreen. We also went on the Piper-Heidsieck Skyview and that was a great view of the whole event. Cost was $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Be prepared to log into Ticketmaster to purchase the tickets. We had a blast and it was a nice day with the family.

What a beautiful and pretty event. Miami open is def for the vibes. If you're not a tennis fan but you come to this you will become one. It's fun and a great time to really watch a sporting event with great food and a cocktail. Everything is so pretty and the best part is that many dress the part to come here. I saw so many people with full tennis outfits that were not there to play. Definitely not hating though! Again I loved the vibe. They had so many different venues of foods that I absolutely love. I ate of course bodega. I wasn't able to drink but I will come back next year for the full experience. It just seemed like such a good time. You were able to meet players, grab Celsius, shop in the lacoste store. I'm going to return next year for sure!

Our family had a blast at the Miami Open. We had tickets for session 6 match was about around 7 PM. Gave us time to walk around the grounds. We had so much fun eating and drinking. Some of the spots we were able to hit up that we loved was the Miami slice. The pizza is so bomb. I highly recommend trying the pepperoni with the hot honey on top divine. I also had to hit up my favorite Truro spot, which is Santo Dulce. They have a food truck there you must try it. They had a new flavor which was Keylime, but unfortunately, they ran out of it so hopefully before the close of Miami Open, I'm able to go there again and try it. Some cool things that happen on the ground was the mariachi band that was playing. I highly recommend attending the more evening matches since the temperature was so cool and it was so comfortable walking around the ground. The match we attended was at the stadium. It was so much fun so full of life inside the stadium. They have also plenty of food courts to go and grab a snack or food or drink. Highly recommend this experience if you've never done it.

First time at the Miami Open and I had the best experience, highly recommend! Came on Wednesday night for the 7pm session to see Naomi Osaka play. I made sure to get great seats right above court side and it was well worth it. Outside of the tournaments there is so much to do as well. There is a huge outdoor space filled with well know miami restaurants as well as popular wine and beverage pop ups that you can enjoy. There are also other activities to enjoy. Great for groups and families also.

In 2005 City Park was changed to honor Peter Bluesten who was the founder and publisher of the Hallandale Digest. Mr. Bluesten was a WWII veteran who moved to Hallandale from New Jersey in 1946 and he founded the paper in 1963. He took the paper from a one sheet advertisement to a widely read and respected paper that chronicled the history and growth of the city. It was a hometown paper that the community relied on. Mr, Bluesten was very involved with youth sports in the city. He passed away in 1996. The park was redesigned by Craven Thompson & Associates Inc. and the remodeled 16.5 acre Peter Bluesten Park opened to the public on September 28, 2019. One of the highlights is the park's Aquatics Center which has a 25-meter by 25-yard competition style pool with eight lane short course section for high school swim competitions and recreational interactive water features. The pool was designed to meet all of the requirements for USA Swimming. The multipurpose main pool has a large learn-to-swim area, a dedicated water aerobics area, and a beach entry. Both pools are design-built concrete pools with deck level overflow gutter systems. There is also a 1,800 sq. ft water playground with an elevated play structure, which includes multiple decks, slides, rain buckets, water cannons, dancing floor jets and water curtains. Other park amenities include The Hallandale Beach YMCA, an artificial Safeshell turf soccer field, three baseball fields, concession stand, outdoor stage, playground, tennis, basketball, bankshot basketball, racquetball, walking path, and support buildings. The city uses the park for a number of events like their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Movies Under the Stars. If there is one small drawback to Peter Bluesten Park it is that it does not have a parking lot. You have to pay by app and park on the street. Other that that this is a really amazing park with something for everyone to enjoy.
