Very helpful! Waiting time was pretty long. But overall assistance was very preoccupied and made us feel well. Thank you doctors!

The company which was his affiliated center or hub obviously prior to his departure never addressed any issues and his patients were left in the cold with thirty days to scramble to get an almost impossible if not improbable help He had many long term patients Now the doctor who was assigned to me temporarily seems to be gloating over Dr Suarez s demise Dr Suarez s credentials far outweigh this mans credibility He prescribed me a dose of pain medication for a month that was so low it put me in withdrawal and could have killed me if I had not gotten help The doctor was a smarmy aloof know it all, tossing accolades and diplomas he received and expedited what the insurance nurses described as legal torture The one diploma he didn t mention was one of experiencing pain The nurse stated that they re all wondering how these guidelines were created in Florida , cutting pain patients off and lumping together the same doses without evaluating the patients history "No wonder the hospitals are getting overdoses from heroin and fentanyl she told me" The doctor showed no empathy nor did he review my 3000 plus medical pages of history, ( which within reason I did not expect), check vitals ,or even ask how I was doing I don t smoke ,drink , never missed an appt, given clean urine, and am a world class freediver My lungs are huge thank God I was an 11 year patient Its impossible to find pain management doctors that will take the leap to prescribe what s needed for relief You re treated like a pariah They re all forced to huddle in a corner and can t take a stand for their fellow man because of the powers that be which is hurting the innocent The stress is unbearable and exasperating an already terrible way to live We need an advocate group or rep If anyone knows one available, please post Im reporting this experience to the Fla board of Medicine and the Florida Board of Pharmacology, and whoever is needed to address this The nurse informed me to get a case number right away and not fall through the cracks I m shocked that this is going on so long We cannot be sheep! If you hurt bad enough , you ll baaaa loudly Get on it! I ll bet the movers and shakers in Tallahassee get their meds! What I do not want to forget is the staff Yes it took time to get through but those girls were primo Almost always polite, respectful and humorous! Not to say that people don t have bad days But they were a team and they know that I ll miss them I m sure others do too! I ll always support that entire crew and wish Dr Suarez the very best !

I should've listened to the reviews--this place is a nightmare. Despite all the negative feedback,…read moreI decided to go because I was in pain and they claimed they could see me. I booked an appointment 5 days in advance for a spinal injection, and they told me I'd be able to get it done the same day. To make matters worse, they don't accept my insurance, so I agreed to pay out of pocket. Over the phone, the receptionist quoted me $250 for the first consultation, with additional charges for any procedures. When I arrived, the receptionist told me the consultation was actually $175, which seemed fine. But then, out of nowhere, someone from the back interrupted and said, "No, the first consultation is $300." I pointed out the $250 price I was quoted, and she begrudgingly said she'd honor that price. After this confusing exchange, they made me wait 45 minutes in a room. Eventually, I decided to leave, but then I saw someone in the hallway on a computer. I asked if he was the one going to see me, and he said he was reviewing my file and would be with me shortly. When he finally came in, he introduced himself as the PA. I asked how long before I'd see the doctor, and he casually told me the doctor was doing a procedure and I wouldn't be seeing him at all. This is exactly what I had read in the reviews--so I walked out. I'm not paying $250 or $300 to get advice from a PA. This place is disorganized and unprofessional from the moment you step through the door. Do yourself a favor and believe the bad reviews. I ignored them, and now I'm still in pain with no resolution.

I am suffering in pain I have Fibromyalgia and multiple herniations on my spine. Dr Ron has been wonderful. But hi manager Dan is fool. Everyone else in the office is kind but this man is all about your money. Mind you my insurance has been paying him for 3 years. Now that I have to pay out of pocket a hefty amount. I do not mind paying as soon as I have all the money I paid last month. Dan will take your money then make you suffer by giving you the excuse to go to the ER. This is unacceptable! Dr Ron doesnt even know whats going on. This Dan person who barely knows how to do his job is a waste of human space. Leaving another human in pain is awful. I do not wish this treatment on anyone. If you do not have money for a treatment he wont even work out a payment plan. What an awful human being. I curse you Dan with all of my pain and you family as well.

The doctor is well respected in his field and was recommended to me when this thing was diagnosed in Los Angeles. One of the well know neurosurgeons at the House Ear Institute said, "See him if you want a proper job done." Dr. Wolf uses The Gamma Knife, at his state of the art facility, which is used to treat brain tumors by administering high-intensity cobalt radiation therapy in a manner that concentrates the radiation over a small volume. A Gamma Knife typically contains 201 cobalt-60 sources of approximately 30 curies, each placed in a circular array in a heavily shielded assembly. The device aims gamma radiation through a target point in the patient's brain. The patient wears a specialized helmet that is surgically fixed to the skull, so that the brain tumor remains stationary at the target point of the gamma rays. An ablative dose of radiation is thereby sent through the tumor in one treatment session, while surrounding brain tissues are spared. Gamma Knife therapy, like all radiosurgery, uses doses of radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors, delivered precisely to avoid damaging healthy brain tissue. Gamma Knife radiosurgery is able to accurately focus many beams of gamma radiation to converge on one or more tumors. Each individual beam is of relatively low intensity, so the radiation has little effect on intervening brain tissue and is concentrated only at the tumor itself. Gamma Knife radiosurgery has proven effective for patients with benign or malignant brain tumors up to 4 centimeters in size, vascular malformations such as an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), pain or other functional problems. For treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, the procedure may be used repeatedly on patients. After my treatment I recovered immediately and have progressed from a guy walking along a sidewalk and bumping into telephone poles to a tennis playing guy who never wavers. In a jiffy he cured the bloody thing. I get an MRI once a year and return for a read. Wolf is a Yale Medical School grad and that counts for a lot in my book. I once visited Yale Medical in order to deliver a check from my father's charitable foundation and was very impressed. The dean was a charmer and convinced me that the money would be spent as we had directed. (I think it's the best medical school in the country.) Their office is so pleasant and the decor is soothing. The parking is easy with a big lot directly in front. A walk of a few feet takes one to an elevator (The building has only two floors.) which opens directly in front of their door. It is nice to go to a treatment center and not have to walk a mile (UofM comes to mind.) and constantly ask directions. There was some good design and thought put into this location. After I completed my consultation, I chatted with some the friendly staff who informed me that on my next visit I can have my MRI on the first floor and then immediately be wisked to Dr. Wolf on the second; now that is convenient. Anyway, kudos for Dr. Wolf and his VERY snappy staff who are always spot on and make my visit smooth as silk. For my money the only thing lacking here is an enlarged center with more doctors whose specialty field might be brain oncology and others whit specialities as Dr. Wolf determines necessary. I was connected with a charitable foundation that gave mostly to medical and I think that with the right kind of foundation behind him Dr. Wolf could develop a major neuroscience center in Miami with world wide reputation. Dr. Wolf's center could be be a center of excellence in neuroscience and oncology that would work with new cancer treatments and he might partner with leading academic institutions around the country. It is not a very big jump when you have the talent and foresight that is his.
