Ultrasound of my neck. Dr DeMeo fine hand is one of the few that will administer PRP in the neck
Victoria L.

The PRP really works! Dr. DeMeo's expertise has introduced me to the regenerative treatment that gave me back my healthy quality of life! I've been a patient for some time and the staff here has been welcoming and kind to my chronic pain needs. In 2011, I suffered a fall that herniated the discs in my cervical. I've suffered with nerve pinches between my traps, tightness in my neck that also caused the tips of my fingers to be slightly numb. The results of PRP have been extraordinary. Within 24 hours I had positive results. I wake up now with no tightness in my neck not numbness in my fingertips. Thank you to Dr. DeMeo and his great staff for being so caring and kind with me!

I have been going to pain Management with Dr. Maurciano for almost 20 years…read more I have a number of issues and have tried most everything, I started with a chiropractor tried three different ones without any relief moved on to a type of yoga for pain, I've tried every infomercial product that claims they help with pain. purchased four or five new beds with no relief they were all designed to take advantage of us in pain. Finally after several other pain management doctors I finally found myself at Dr. Maurciano's office. Dr Murciano evaluated me and thought I may be a candidate for the injections in my spine (facets) which worked for three days. I thought I was healed. Unfortunately, the pain came back after three days.We tried again and I only received one good day . Dr. Maurciano told me this is not a good match for you and will do more damage than good as they should last 3 to 6 months. Dr. Marceano has. Been a lifesaver treating my pain along with Armando. Since I have been going for so many years, all of the staff knows me and greets me by name they could not be more professional, accommodating , empathetic, and friendly. I've been to four other pain management doctors prior to Dr. Maurciano And Dr. Maurciano as well as his staff are definitely the best, They are Professional, take their time with you and they ALL actually care about your well being. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone suffering in pain. Thank you, Dr Maurciano as well as your staff. I don't know what I would do without you. You ALL are very much appreciated. God Bless you all. William

I had the worst experience! I made an urgent appt for severe back pain from an injury. Dr. Murciano…read moreneglected to call in my prescription pain meds the same day, I contacted his office later that afternoon to follow up and apparently he just decided to leave the office without calling it in! My pain got progressively worse that night with shooting sciatic nerve pain in my legs which led me to fall and cause more damage. I called again the next morning to request the prescription and also told them about my fall. I asked for MRI orders because the fall made my pain worse I could barely get out of bed. He said no I would have to wait until I came back for my follow-up appt in 2 weeks. What kind of Pain Management Doctor does this? Apparently, he did not care about me as a patient. He seemed more concerned with the next appt so he can charge my insurance again and get another copayment from me. My Spine Doctor ordered an MRI STAT - that means immediately. Which showed more damage, now I have to have surgery! I DO NOT recommend Dr. Murciano!

Dr. Suarez has been my pain management doctor for more than 15 years. He is not your typical pain…read moredoctor. Dr. Suarez finds the root of in my case both of my problems and starts off with the smallest degree of pain management. If my pain continues, he goes to a different course of action. He checks his patients urine to make sure, I suppose, that there are not any illegal narcotics in system as well as making sure the patient still has his prescribed medication in system as to make sure patient isn't using too much or not using at all and possibly doing something else with meds(like selling them). I have many friends that see pain management doctors and these doctors never check their urine, blood or anything of the sort. They basically hand them a prescription and say goodbye. I trust Dr. Suarez impicably. As for problems that I've read others have written of the staff not answering the phone, that was an issue a few years ago but they have hired numerous people and it is rare that the phone will ring more than three times and not be answered and when it is answered the staff treats the caller with the upmost respect and follows through with the request of the patient. I truly don't know what I would have done without Dr. Suarez all these years.

The doctor is well respected in his field and was recommended to me when this thing was diagnosed in Los Angeles. One of the well know neurosurgeons at the House Ear Institute said, "See him if you want a proper job done." Dr. Wolf uses The Gamma Knife, at his state of the art facility, which is used to treat brain tumors by administering high-intensity cobalt radiation therapy in a manner that concentrates the radiation over a small volume. A Gamma Knife typically contains 201 cobalt-60 sources of approximately 30 curies, each placed in a circular array in a heavily shielded assembly. The device aims gamma radiation through a target point in the patient's brain. The patient wears a specialized helmet that is surgically fixed to the skull, so that the brain tumor remains stationary at the target point of the gamma rays. An ablative dose of radiation is thereby sent through the tumor in one treatment session, while surrounding brain tissues are spared. Gamma Knife therapy, like all radiosurgery, uses doses of radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors, delivered precisely to avoid damaging healthy brain tissue. Gamma Knife radiosurgery is able to accurately focus many beams of gamma radiation to converge on one or more tumors. Each individual beam is of relatively low intensity, so the radiation has little effect on intervening brain tissue and is concentrated only at the tumor itself. Gamma Knife radiosurgery has proven effective for patients with benign or malignant brain tumors up to 4 centimeters in size, vascular malformations such as an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), pain or other functional problems. For treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, the procedure may be used repeatedly on patients. After my treatment I recovered immediately and have progressed from a guy walking along a sidewalk and bumping into telephone poles to a tennis playing guy who never wavers. In a jiffy he cured the bloody thing. I get an MRI once a year and return for a read. Wolf is a Yale Medical School grad and that counts for a lot in my book. I once visited Yale Medical in order to deliver a check from my father's charitable foundation and was very impressed. The dean was a charmer and convinced me that the money would be spent as we had directed. (I think it's the best medical school in the country.) Their office is so pleasant and the decor is soothing. The parking is easy with a big lot directly in front. A walk of a few feet takes one to an elevator (The building has only two floors.) which opens directly in front of their door. It is nice to go to a treatment center and not have to walk a mile (UofM comes to mind.) and constantly ask directions. There was some good design and thought put into this location. After I completed my consultation, I chatted with some the friendly staff who informed me that on my next visit I can have my MRI on the first floor and then immediately be wisked to Dr. Wolf on the second; now that is convenient. Anyway, kudos for Dr. Wolf and his VERY snappy staff who are always spot on and make my visit smooth as silk. For my money the only thing lacking here is an enlarged center with more doctors whose specialty field might be brain oncology and others whit specialities as Dr. Wolf determines necessary. I was connected with a charitable foundation that gave mostly to medical and I think that with the right kind of foundation behind him Dr. Wolf could develop a major neuroscience center in Miami with world wide reputation. Dr. Wolf's center could be be a center of excellence in neuroscience and oncology that would work with new cancer treatments and he might partner with leading academic institutions around the country. It is not a very big jump when you have the talent and foresight that is his.
