First things first, these guys generally have trouble replying to emails and phone messages. I have to usually go into the shop or get them personally on the phone to have an answer to my questions. Now, having said that, these guys are absolutely the best to buy from, hands down. You will not ever find anyone better in the area, and probably the state. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The place doesn't have the feel of a testosterone fueled good ol' boys club like a lot of gun shops do. They can get anything, and if they can't, they will find you an acceptable alternative. I only gave four stars because it is a pain to get hold of them. Recently purchased a pistol from The Miami Armory. Staff was awesome - friendly and knowledgeable, price was excellent, and the store was nicer than expected. I had found the gun I wanted on their website and it said to contact them regarding stock. I filled out the online contact form and got a very speedy reply from Scott offering to take the gun I wanted and put it in the back with my name on it. Went in later that day and picked it up. In all my dealings with Miami Armory, they have alway been knowledgable, friendly, and easily approachable. Whether it is a firearm purchase, or me sending one back to the manufacturer for repair, they make the process a very simple one. When ordering from them on-line, it doesn't take very long for them to call and let me know my order is in and ready for pickup. I took 2 trades in hoping to get enough to put with my savings, to purchase a new Springfield XD-E. I got about $100 more than what I was hoping would be the top dollar for my trades. I found a little later, I could have got that gun for $11 less, but the service I have gotten over the years, more than makes up for 11 dollars. They also tracked down an item I was hoping for, that appeared to be unavailable, but they got it for me. Now, just waiting on the ATFE to do their job, and I will get my new toy ! After months of unsolicited e-mails from these guys, i contacted them and asked how i made it on their mailing list. the guy who answered the phone told me, "i don't care how you got there", and when i asked to be removed the guy said, "no", and hung up. so now i receive e-mails from these guys on the regular, but i refuse to shop there, why would i give my money to such horrible people...they OBVIOUSLY don't care about me, otherwise they would have removed me from the mailing list. read more

Awesome. This place has really changed since I visited sometime ago. It was back in the corner and very small. I decided to give it another shot with a friend and I was really impressed with how the store has doubled in size, they had a great selection and the employees were super nice. I felt like they wanted to know me and did not once direct me towards a firearm I didn't want. It was clean, friendly and I got a great deal. Excellent gun store. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Always willing to help out. Great prices on firearms as well as ammo. I have suggested to several people to try out whichever gun they are interested in up the street at Point Blank Range and Gun Shop, and but then buy it from the Miami Armory. Went in yesterday to see what I needed to do to get a gun shipped there. They ended up having the HK VP9 I was looking to purchase online although it was 580. On the site it was priced at 490 after shipping, so they dropped the price on the gun down to the exact same price as the cheapest one I could find online. They even sold me 7 boxes of ammo at a discounted rate. Will definitely go back they were amazing! read more

Great staff fast to acknowledge you when u come in the door and willing to show u everything u want to see. I purchased a hard to find weapon that they had in stock and they ere even able to find a holster for it after I left. Every time I've taken my wife there they help her and dont talk stupid to her like other stores have. Will make most of my purchases from them from now on out. read more

Beware; their online price is Much lower than the actual price they charge when the gun is purchased. I was not happy with the hidden cost increase. I went back the next day to ask about the cost increase and the staff basically said 'Ya, there is a difference, but that's how we make our profit.' Also, the tax is 7.5%, which does not help. read more

I did not care for the high-pressure sales tactics nor the condescending comments. Be very careful at check-out, they have trouble remembering to apply the discounts they promise and the receipt is very hard to read. My advice, go to Field and Stream at Austin Landing, Dick's, or Point Blank. They will give you a better deal in the end. read more

These folks have a nice selection of firearms, ammunition, and accessories. They have reasonable prices. I haven't tried trading in yet so I can't vouch for them on that front but I will soon.
