It was gold inscribed back which I pointed out and was told it was only sentimental and probability not worth anything. However when it was returned the gold back had been replaced with a cheap metal back and given along with other watches and I did not notice immediately. My daughter was very upset when she discovered it had been switched. She is very upset each time she sees the watch.
