One of our favorite mexican food restaurants! Attentive servers with lots of personality make the restaurant even better. There's not a bad things on the menu. Some favorites include the fajitas with chorizo, quesedilla rellina, Chile rellenos, and cheese dip or bean dip as a starter! Thumbs up all around! read more

The staff was extremely nice even right down to closing! They let me and my sister finish our meal and margaritas while they cleaned since we had come in late. Our food was fresh and delicious! The margaritas both original over the rocks and frozen strawberry were excellent with good tequila in them. The only thing is I wish the chips were a little lighter but that style of chips is typical of this area. There is only once place in Jonesboro I know with better chips otherwise everything Searcy and beyond is about the same. If this tells you anything...I gave the waiters a 30% tip! read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Food is okay, but nothing to write home about, generic Tex-mex that you can get at any chain, anywhere. Nacho's, just down the road, is always AWESOME and the staff are awesome as well. The manager of this establishment is very unprofessional and will immediately blast a picture of their patrons on local gossip sites instead of investigating or calling the police when they have an issue. We had dinner with some friends a few days ago and the server did not properly close out one of the tickets in their system, even though ALL of the meals were paid for. Instead of doing her job and retracing their steps, she took the time to look through the security, take a still shot and post it on the local gossip site. Had she done her job properly, she would have immediately realized that it was server error and it could have been taken care of in house. Instead, she assumed the customer at fault and was very rude, even when I called to see what the issue was. She accused us of not paying the full cost of a meal, stating that we only left partial payment in paper money in the ticket book, when we had ALL PAID WITH A CARD! A little investigating would have proven that all of the meals had been paid for, instead, she tried to go above and beyond to put the blame on her customers. Posting that picture was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and could have caused a lot of harm because of the people on those sites and the way they take a picture and automatically assume the worst. The owner really needs to look at who he or she has representing their business. We will NEVER eat here again and we will make sure that every one we know, knows not to eat here as well. It's a shame that the actions of one so called "manager" can cause so much damage because she couldn't take the time to perform her job properly and show professionalism. read more

At least 4 stars would have been in order, however, the service in this place was horrible. I had never seen such disorganization and there wasn't anyone that would claim ownership to being the manager. The woman behind the counter where we paid was a poor excuse for a hostess only offering one reason for poor service and that was that they were busy. My suggestion to her was to hire more staff. We waited over an hour while two to other tables were seated after us and when they did finally bring out our food they brought it out in shifts. The food was good, but not spectacular. Hope this was an isolated incident, but I doubt the lady behind the counter moves on. Totally unprofessional. read more

The other comment which says that the food is "consistently above average" is absolutely correct. We've only eaten there once in passing through Arkansas (so not certain about any consistency), but as someone that orders carnitas at every new Mexican restaurant to see how they fare, I was quite impressed by Mi Ranchito. The carnitas were incredible, the service was prompt, polite and positive, and though the restaurant was busy it wasn't hard to hear one another. Drinks were brought out immediately, refills came before the glasses were empty, and the chips were fresh and endless. If I lived in the area, I would definitely frequent Mi Ranchito. read more

Don't look any farther--you will not find a better restaurant! The food is DELICIOUS, the prices are great, and the service is unbeatable. I googled best eating places in Cabot and this Mexican restaurant's name came up. So, we decided to eat there. Unfortunately, I lost my appetite when a roach ran across my foot while I was in the bathroom. Carpet was dirty and stained with spilled food. I sat down on the booth seat and it was wet. Good food but if it's after 8:30 they won't want to serve you. We pulled up at 8:40 pm the open light was still flashing so we got out but as we were walking in I noticed they had turned off the sign but the door said they closed at 9:00 so the 3 of us walked in. They immediately told us they close in 15 minutes so my husband said "do you want us to leave?" and the worker nodded his head so we walked out. If you close at 8:45 put it on the door and lock it. Don't say your open until 9:00 and not be willing to serve. It's bad business. read more

I would give zero stars, but apparently the app will not allow it. I've eaten at this restaurant more times than I can count, and the experience has only gotten worse. I am not the type to leave reviews, but I couldn't let this last experience go unreported. I will not step foot in this restaurant again because tonight I was given USED salsa. I know for a fact that it was used, because it had an old crusty ring around the bowl and a crusty dribble down the side. When I showed the waiter my concern, he had the white female manager come over. She was beyond rude and refused to take responsibility and then grabbed the bowl away from me when I tried to take a photograph. I've questioned the salsa and chips prior to this visit, but decided I was probably wrong and never made mention of it... But after tonight, I know for a fact that this place needs their doors closed. Very dissatisfied & pretty disheartened by the whole experience. read more

Wish I could say ZERO stars! Horrible service! And, very unprofessional "manager". Took awhile to be seated and the restaurant was not busy. They were vacuuming the floors with a hand held type vacuum. Not sure if the is health code compliant. Waitress was on her phone the whole time. Never checked on our table once food was delivered. Food tasted sour. When addressed to the lady at the front who mentioned she was a manager, she simply seemed to be less interested in the complaint than a "manager" should. My mom has a loud voice naturally and the "manager" mentioned my 4'11 mother was making her nervous. So she couldn't respond other than saying "well...I'm sorry..." Ok?! Not one patron in the place looked over at us. So if she was so "loud" wouldn't that have drawn attention?? While we were trying to address the issue with the "manager", the waitress walked up smiling on her phone. The "manager" spoke to her in Spanish and the waitress smirked. Very unprofessional! When asked for a # to contact someone regarding these issues, the "manager" basically skirted around the question and we never received a #. But, that's ok we'll get it. Just horrible... read more
