It took about 40 minutes to get to the table, but once it arrived, it was beautifully presented cooked optimally. The portion seemed a little smaller than I expected (came in only one 600 gm size). The lobster that was split in half sat on a moist bed of Spanish rice, came with refried beans and freshly grilled vegetables. See my pictures. The freshly made thin tortillas were superb, but one had to be careful or they would dry soon. After you finish, they give you an apperetiv, in a small cylindrical crystal glass. Basically, think of it like Kahlúa with milk, vanilla and ice. It was fantastic. The chips and salsas that preluded the main order were also superb. It is rarely and not always, that I go back to the same restaurant when I'm on a short trip. On top of that the next day? Yes, here it had to be the exception. So this second time, I was here to try the fish soup (exceptional) and the grilled loin of red snapper. I've heard of a pork loin, a beef loin, but this was a first. The entree is a large portion. A thick, succulent, colorful, well charred and grilled portion of seafood, with firm texture and spicy taste. Service here was high class, on both occasions. They had a beautiful display of their shrimp tacos with wonderful toppings. I was sold. I thought I had chosen a caterer that would elevate the taco experience. Everything they promised wasn't delivered from sending the wrong appetizers, flimsy plates to serve the food, NO toppings for the shrimp tacos, no signage saying the 3 types of tacos to choose from, etc. The gentleman and girls serving the food were friendly and professional, however they had no idea of what they were supposed to be serving. When I asked them, he just replied that's what they sent us with. I think Ricardo feels terrible, but after talking with him, he had no idea of what happened, like he did the sales, but whoever executes the food wasn't him. He did refund part of my fee, however, I have to warn others, because they really let me down, it's not something that can be fixed. Be careful if you use them.
