There were two display refrigerators for meats. Hardly anything there and whatever was there didn't look good for consumption. Looked passed it's prime. It's a Butcher market... The machine used to slice meat had pieces of meat hanging out in the circular blade. There were also pieces of meat in the bottom. By the looks of it, the meat had been hanging out there for a while. They tried to clean the floor. It was a bit slippery. It was not wet. Actually felt a bit greasy. The Diet Coke I got (a can) had a fresh date of 14 Mar 22. I checked all the other 18 cans of Diet Coke in the fridge and all had the same date. Why am I mentioning this? It did not taste like Diet Coke. I still ordered what I went there for: Menudo. Taste was ok, but: I had a plate full of cows feet and some menudo. Its becoming a common practice to add them to a menudo plate. Not excited about it, but I live with it. Never before I had four pieces in the same bowl. I paid too much money for the Menudo plate I ordered. Not much menudo in there.

I have also tried a chicken sopes and the al pastor taco previously. If you are looking for a hidden gym with authentic Mexican food, this is the place to GO! Also, the woman who takes are orders also cooks the food...excellent service. She is always very nice. I wouldn't say the ambiance around the area is "great", but they do have outdoor seating.

I ordered passion fruit juice and it took me to my childhood, when my mom would make fresh, pure juice, no sugar added! The food portions were perfect for the price, I even had enough to take home for my dinner. The ceviche leche de trigre was also on point, very similar to what I have tried in my trips to Peru. Now, the location almost made me turn around. There was glass and trash on the streets and it didn't seem like a safe place. Luckily, management informed us that they are going to move due to this. I came with my family ( 4 of us ) this weekend. First of all the location and the parking lot area are not appealing at all, looks a bit sketchy from the outside. On the inside it is clean but it is a bit confusing, it seems that there is a Peruvian restaurant during the day and a separate business as a Dominican club at night so there are different signs on the outside and the vibe inside is a bit off. So we could probably say that the location is a hole in the wall. Anyhow, sometimes you hear that the best food is served in a hole in the wall, we'll that is true here!!! I have to say that they probably have the best Peruvian food in the area!!! The Mostrito Parrillero has everything you could expect ( anticucho, pancita, corazón de pollo, molleja, chicken, potatoes and a great sauce ). Texture and flavor is the best I've had in a long time. Then I ordered the Trio ( 3 dishes in one). The ceviche was well prepared, the fish chicharrón with the "acebichado" sauce was delicious, sadly the Chaufa was not so good in my opinion, I could find better.The fettuccini a la huancaina was also tasty and well prepared. The Lomo Saltado that came with it was very good, the onions and tomatoes where perfectly cooked, onions were cooked but still crunchy. Sauce was great, not too salty as you find in other places, just right. The meat was just ok in my opinion, meat would be a bit softer ( lomo should be a softer cut ). Then I got drinks, the passion fruit juice was delicious, the chicha was just ok, needed some lemon and it was not cold. Service was overall good. They kept refilling our complimentary "cancha" appetizer and giving us "leche de tigre " to taste. A couple of things I didn't like is that they don't offer drinks by pitcher only by the glass and at $5 each adds up pretty fast so they should offer that as an option. Also something that I didn't like is that they automatically charge you a 15% gratuity no matter how big is your party. I don't agree with that because tips should be dictated by the service and not an automatic add on. Where is their incentive to improve the service ?! My in-laws went the same day and they also complained about that. When it comes to pricing I believe it was a bit expensive. Even though the food is very good you are being charged same as in restaurants that are located in a nice area and have amazing service. I don't think the prices match the overall experience. Too bad we didn't have any room for desserts, I definitely want to try their picarones which according to them are made from scratch so yes I will definitely be back. I may probably just order food to go next time though as I didn't enjoy the location and I don't agree with their tipping policy. Finally, I was told by a friend that their "alfajores " were not good, kinda like the hard ones that you find at Alpaca and not the soft and crumbly ones you can get in Peru. Maybe they need to find a different supplier for those. Anyhow I am definitely coming back and look forward to try all the other dishes they have !!!

The only recommendation I would suggest is that they allow you to do the 3 taco special with different meats. Currently, they only allow you to have chicken beef or pork with the special. I don't eat either of those meats, so I had to pay ala cart for the shrimp and fish ones. Definitely were flavors and I actually would come again if in the area!

Our waitress did not speak English, but we were able to communicate effectively, trying to pronounce Spanish, Google translate, and using hand gestures. We got Tortillas con Quesillo, Pastelitos and Baleada con Todo. The food was delicious... so good! It took a while to make, which is a hint to the freshness. It was a first intro to Honduran food and it was fabulous. The inside is simple with dinner type seating, a nice bar and a room with a pool table. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Menu in the wall is pretty easy to navigate .. and if you need help .. the person behind the register will help you with your order. This time Mojarra Frita and Pupusas was ordered. After you place your order you can grab an empty table and take a walk over to the sauce bar which has all the salsas from mild to burn your ass off and some sides of pickled onions in peppers , limes, cilantro, onions, jalapeno and radish. Picking salsas is like playing roulette with your taste buds and ass ... cause there are no lables on what is what ... you just take the plunge lol After sitting down and munching on some chips and salsa the food arrived in a short time. Yes service is fast here ! First item out was the Mojarra Frita and man oh man it was delicious! The beans were onpoint ! The fish (whole talapia) was fried to perfection... just squeeze some fresh lime on it with a lil bit of salt and pepper and boom ita good to go . This place I specifically wanted to try cuz it was the many choice that I had seen. We ended up choosing classic burger, a double burger, and one of the classic hot dogs. The hot dog was huge and topped with so many toppings you couldn't even see the hot dog. It was very good and tasty. The burgers either single Patty or double Patty were both ginormous and juicy. They came with fries if you choose the combo. The burger comes with different meat choices you can put in there but it also comes with a slab of ham on top of it. It also comes with an egg inside which is really nice. I think these Burgers might be the best I had in a long time and that includes many nice steakhouses burgers. The only downside that I would say is I got there before it's even opened at about 5:30 they took my order at 6:00 when they opened and I still didn't get out of there until about 7:15. I don't know what took so long or why mine wouldn't have been done until almost an hour and a half later but that's what it was. That might be the only thing that keeps me from going back to that specific food truck unless they figure out a way to not be waiting that one especially when I was the first person there to put in an order
