I really enjoyed them! I've been craving mole for years and this chicken mole did NOT disappoint! It was rich, creamy and everything I wanted it to be. You can barely taste the chocolate but the color is a deep dark brown and that's what you should expect in a great mole. The chicken fell off the bone in the sauce. This mole sauce makes you want to lick your fingers clean. The beans and rice were also very fantastic. Definitely the best beans and rice that I've had in a while. I could make a meal with just those 2 sides. Can't forget the homemade corn tortillas. I received 5! They were piping hot with my to-go Mole. So hot I couldn't eat them right away! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burrito. The toppings were piled high with the beef, rice and beans. And it wasn't a small burrito, it filled up my big man. He didn't even save room for his fries. There must be years of cooking experience in that little restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Great amount of food for $30! And I got 2 meals out of my chicken Mole entree.

We come here often for pollo asada and the fajita plates that are big enough to be shared. This morning we stopped by for breakfast and they did not disappoint! Husband ordered the huevos ranchero plate and it came with three eggs over easy with salsa and cheese sauce, plus rice, beans and fresh corn tortillas-amazing! I ordered the 2 item combo-which was a great value! I ordered a chicken chimichanga and a beef burrito. The plate also came with rice and beans. They both were cooked and seasoned perfectly! The serving was huge and my husband and I agreed that we could probably share the plate next time. The service and the food are consistent and that's what makes us want to come back!

I also often order the plat chico (one item combo with rice and beans) I usually have a chalupa, tostada, or sopito. You can't go wrong. It's family owned and has been open for 30 years for good reason. The servers are always friendly and prices reasonable. The ambiance is festive, and lively with lots of colors, especially right now with all the Christmas decorations. They have great takeout food as well. For the most part, I'd call this great American/Mexican or TexMex foos, but go there and decide for yourself. Definitely give it a try.

True authentic flavors! If your looking for some delicious tacos, burritos, chicharrones... & more,…read morethis is the shop for you. If you're coming for just the food, you walk up to the register and order with the wonderful ladies. Then you go select your beverage and you sit down. The ladies will let you know when your food is ready. For instance, I am in love with the carnitas tacos here. When your tacos are ready, you go up to the condiment bar, where they have chopped up cabbage, cilantro, lime, radishes, and salsas to use as toppings. You can also get some chips and use the sauces to dip in while you wait. I have never waited more then five minutes or so for my food. Then, you enjoy every delicious bite! What if you get hungry and you need more tacos? You just walk right back up to the front and order a few more tacos, and do it all over again. When you are done with your food and your drink, you proceed back to the register and pay for your meal. If I can go somewhere, and the food tastes better than what I can make it home... I am beyond impressed. This little store is one of my best Discoveries in Grandview. There's a beautiful selection of meat behind the glass case. They have some of your shopping needs here... I would come here every day if I could! Gracias! ¡Hasta mañana!
