The salsa, queso and guacamole were all excellent. The ceviche was outstanding: incredibly fresh, bright and perfectly seasoned. We actually tried to come the day before and couldn't get in, so we came back the next day. Very glad we did. One of our favorite meals of the trip.

We ordered the queso, it was good, plain white cheese, no spices. The chips were mostly crumbs on both baskets we got. Hubs ordered the 3 a la carte enchiladas (cheese), he states they were good, no complaints. I ordered a combination plate (beef taco, chili relleno & chicken burrito). The taco was very good, beef seasoned well. The chicken burrito was bland/unseasoned and very underwhelming. The 'chili relleno' was not like any relleno I've ever had. There was one tiny strip of poblano in a patty of beef with a slice of American cheese (think Kraft single). It actually tasted good, but was basically a well seasoned burger patty with a teeny strip of ploblano. No breading, no stuffed poblano, no Oaxaca. We are Texans from San Antonio, so we know good Tex-Mex and good authentic Mexican cuisine, this is neither. The strange thing is, it's good, just 'different'.

They had a large variety of salsas which I was eager to try. My goto is usually the salsa verde and they had the traditional and avocado version. When the server came over and took our order, I felt the need to let him know because it was not edible (IMO) but my husband also agreed. They kindly took the feedback and shortly after I saw some staff go over to the salsa bar and took it away. They actually ended up changing or fixing it and it was so much better! Hubby's tacos were awesome, super flavorful meats. My pork carnita dish was absolutely delicious! Packed with flavor, the rice was addicting and it was a great combination. Came here on a Friday night for dinner out of convenience, and it far exceeded our expectations. Our server Andres was so welcoming and attentive and fun. He saw our group and highly recommended the margarita tower, which we loved. The tower was $32. We got the mango flavor. Between the five of us, that totals to a little over $6 per person. The tower itself got us each 3 full glasses per person, which if you do the math, totals a little over $2 per drink. For our food, we loved the chorizo tacos and tacos al pastor the most. Everything else was pretty standard. There is lots of colorful casual decor everywhere, and they had a really lively birthday party across from us. Our server never returned to the table to check on us. We asked another server for a container to take the leftover home. She said ok but never returned with the container. Finally the original server brought the container and the check. I wouldn't go back because of the flys and the service. The food was ok but could use a little finesse. The ambiance was nothing to really comment about. The staff could take some lessons on politeness and customer service. We don't live there so we will not return.
