I put taco seasoning & water to try to give it flavor & juice at home. Didn't help

We usually eat in when we go here & the food come out steaming hot. Often the chicken is dry & lacks seasoning. So we haven't gone in a while thinking maybe give it a little time it'll get better. We ordered to go tonight the portions were small, the chicken was dry & tasteless. For the amount we paid we expected better. Your food comes in a to go tray which does nothing to keep it hot. Think we'll go to the competitors who give bigger portions, more flavor & package it so it's hot when you get home.

We only came here for margaritas. Nice selection of tequila. Patron was available, as were some other choices. Super nice people, prompt service, and clean bathrooms.

My parents go here all the time. They only go because two of the servers treat them super well. The food is decent, but nothing to brag about. My parents have probably spent $1,000's of dollars here over the years. Today, my dad wanted to go for his birthday. I went, because it's his birthday. We took a special bottle of wine that we have been saving for a very long time. Their favorite servers told us to bring the bottle in, that it would be fine to enjoy it at dinner. After they asked us how many glasses we needed, the manager came to our table and told us we could not open the bottle. It was a very embarrassing situation for my parents, and for myself. Most restaurants allow outside bottles, and some even charge a corking fee, which is normal, and which we intended to pay if need be. However, the manager persisted that we could not open the bottle. I didn't order any food because to be honest I was so upset I was no longer hungry. My parents were visibly upset even though they verbally pretended not to be. I will be finding out who the owner is, and I will be sending them a message directly. All they had to do was charge us $15-$25 for a corking fee for us to use their silly glasses and everyone could have had a nice birthday celebration, but the manager on duty this Saturday ruined everything. Thanks amigo!

Honestly, there really isn't much to say about this restaurant. It is one of the few Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. The food is pretty average as far as Tex-Mex restaurants go. If you get a craving for Tex-Mex while in the area, I would recommend the place, but it isn't really the type of place you would want to go out of your way to try.

It was quickly prepared and brought to the table. As it was delivered along with the toppings, rice and beans we began to notice the myriads of flys that were bombarding our plates! They were relentless. Landing constantly on our food. The fajitas were ok. The onions and peppers were cut quite small. And there were plenty on the plate. Our server never returned to the table to check on us. We asked another server for a container to take the leftover home. She said ok but never returned with the container. Finally the original server brought the container and the check. I wouldn't go back because of the flys and the service. The food was ok but could use a little finesse. The ambiance was nothing to really comment about. The staff could take some lessons on politeness and customer service. We don't live there so we will not return.

An excellent little store and food counter in Lavonia!…read more They have the best tacos I've had in the area (and the al pastor tacos are as good as I've ever had). Bonus? Most of the tacos (with doubled soft corn shells) are only $1.50! My kids love the chicken quesadillas ($8). The green sauce that comes with it (in a container) is just the right flavor/spice (they also have limes with them and garnish with radishes... it works!). Another bonus? They sell the premixed al pastor by the pound (along with other meats). We bought a few pounds yesterday for taco night (on a Monday). It was excellent. The selection of tacos, burritos, etc. is really good (including guts and tongue; there's a photo of the menu here on Yelp). No fish, vegetarian, or vegan, though. The store has exactly the kinds of things you'd hope for. The last bonus? The service is friendly and efficient. I go there every Sunday. I've never seen it empty and it caters to all our local folks with joy. Keep it up Los Gomez and God bless you!
