I love the guacamole!!! And they have the absolutely best team that will speak Spanish with you if you can speak it with them. read more

Mi Casita - Beautiful boots and jeans! - Mexican Near Me - Lillington, North Carolina

This by far has been the worst Mexican food I ever had. Rice and beans lack flavor and seasoning, the Queso was watery and tasteless. The steak didn't have any flavor and was dryer than the Sahara desert, the fajita plate didn't have any lick of seasoning. If I could give them 0 stars I would but I will settle for one star. read more

Has been kind of hit or miss. Once, we got some salmon and it was too hard and overcooked. Another time the rice and beans tasted bad and had no flavor, but this last time it was pretty good. Our guacamole was bad though this last time. It didn't taste right. My family orders from them regularly, but it's been kind of inconsistent. It has a great atmosphere though and you'll get plenty of leftovers for what you pay for. Guess you just have to go at the right time. Hopefully things are improving. read more

Yesterday my wife and I celebrated our 57 wedding anniversary. The only thing my wife wanted was some good Mexican food. I drive to Mi Casita in Lillington and order fajitas for two and a medium cheese dip for take out. I got home and emptied the bag. No tortillas!!!! I drove back to the restaurant (6 miles) and told them my problem. The waitress went back to the kitchen and brought me a pack of tortillas. I asked if I could get anything for my trouble and she had to go ask. She then brought me a very, very small cup of cheese dip. I finally got back home to a cold meal. I do not recommend. read more

Love the ambiance and Mexican feel food always good. The homemade Guacamole was OMAZING!

THE BEST!!! We eat here about once a week for OVER ten years!!! The service. The food. The atmosphere. The staff. I can go on! The place is the best hands down!!! They know us by name and always a pleasure!!!!! read more

They have remodeled in the past few months to make the restaurant more modern and it is beautiful. Food is still delicious- quick and easy service. We are usually in and out in under an hour. The Pechuga de Pollo is a hit every time! read more

Not my favorite. Food is...okay, service is pretty good...feel it needs a serious overhaul.

The food was not good enough for a dog. The burrito I ordered had a lot of French fries inside it and a lot of gristle in the meat. It was full of "filler". The guacamole was not made fresh from real avocados. I'll never return. read more

Hit or miss but it's Mexican food You take your chances The wait staff is attentive at lunch not in between hours but dinner they're back on their game so if you go at off hours there is not as good of service read more

The Margarita was weak and watery. You couldn't even taste any Tequila. Entree was very good, but was missing an ingredient listed on the menu. Server said they didn't have any. Really disappointed. I used to really like this place. read more

Great service and Excellent food! I love it! Keep up the great work you guy's..... All smiles....

Okay to fill the void but not my first choice in Mexican. Friendly staff always. The food is good. Always clean and plenty of food.

Upon first impression, the restaurant was very dirty. There was food all over the floor, which looked like it has not been swept. The menus had also obviously not been cleaned either as there was food on the pages. The food was good, pretty average. The prices were average as well. The drinks were strong and yummy though. read more

Coming from California so Mexican food has been very hard to find. Let me just start by saying that you know you're in a good Mexican restaurant when the horchata is on point, best part is there is free refills for the horchata! The customer service was really great, the food was well seasoned (carne asada tacos), beans and rice were bomb! Definitely will come back, after going to multiple Mexican joints in NC I think me and my family have found our spot. read more

We enjoy going to Mi Casita. We use to love to go to the Angier one. It seemed to get slack over time. We go to the Lillington Mi Casita and the food is great and the service. read more

Food was not accurate, bland, and cold. No pride in customer service and quality food

Food is consistently good. Have only ordered delivery and visited restaurant once for drinks.

With the selection in this area being so limited, Mi Casita is a good, reliable place for lunch or dinner. They have some of the best mexican food I have ever had and I will definitely be frequenting this place as long as I am in this area. Several things I've tried so far: Fajitas Trio - ABSOLUTELY delicious. For $14, you get three different kinds of meats, all cooked to perfection. The portion size is huge and well worth its cost. Burritos Fundidos - I have gone with a friend to Mi Casita at least 3 times now, and each time she gets this dish. She almost never finishes it because the portion size is so huge, but without fail, she always get this dish. It is delicious. Quesadillas - any of the quesadillas are good. I've had the Quesadilla Supreme (with beef tips) and it was so so good. THE CHIPS & SALSA - these are free, but definitely close to some of the best chips & salsa I've had at a mexican restaurant. Fried Mexican Banana - literally a banana in a fried tortilla....and it's actually pretty good. I would find someone to share it with though as it can be pretty filling. Mi Casita Sweet Trio - my friend ordered this and I tried a few bites of what was on her plate. Big fan of the fried cheescake and churro, but the sopapilla was a little less exciting. I would suggest just buying the cheescake or the churro on its own. Lastly, they've got great margaritas here! :D read more

I love mi casita the prices are great and the food is so good!! Service can sometimes be a little spotty but still good!

Lunch with my two women. Service was good. The food was quick to the table. The Queso was awesome, my daughter liked it a lot. Typical table salsa and chips delivered fast. I had the lunch chimichanga and my wife had the lunch triple enchiladas. She really liked the ground beef one. The best part about lunch was the price. Cheap! Almost the same price of a combo meal at any fast food place nowadays. read more

Ambience was nice and location is central. Customer service was great, I was greeted immediately. The waiter even changed out chips with warm ones! However, I almost threw up after seeing the guacamole. It looked like it was squeezed out a tube. It disgusted me so much I wanted it off the table but didn't want to be rude. I gave it a chance and could not continue eating it. The salsa also came out of what looked like a plastic ketchup bottle with the tip cut off. -I got the chicken wings with rice supposedly a speciality. It was chicken wings with hot sauce drizzled on it with Mexican rice. -fiancé got the Enchiladas with poblano sauce. I dipped my wings in the Poblano sauce! Loved it. -my 7 year old got 3 chicken tacos and finished 2/3. Would I come back? I would try to avoid. read more

Mi Casita is a regular place for us! Great food! Great service!

Edible, but not great. Service was prompt. Chips were good, salsa and guacamole were not. Had street tacos- not bad, but not great. Rice was the highlight of the meal. Wouldn't avoid, but would chose another option if offered. read more

We have been regulars at Mi Casita since they opened many years ago! The food and service never disappoints! When they opened, we didn't have children. Now, we have three and all three love to go to Mi Casita!!! read more

I'm not sure the people who own this chain of restaurants are real Mexicans. There doesn't seem to be any Mexican pride here. The food is passable but it's very mild. I wasn't able to detect a single chile pepper in all the food I had. Have you heard of jalapeño peppers? Or Serrano peppers? The salsa is little better than ketchup. And what is that runny white liquid they pass off as $5 cheese dip? That is the most tasteless thing I've ever seen placed on a restaurant table. You can't get it to stay on the chip, it's so watery. I know you're trying to feed the masses here but please, be a little more autentico! Great service, btw. read more

Stopped in after a long hike at Raven Rock State Park. Looked busy so I figured it was good food. Seated right away on a holiday weekend. Chips and salsa brought to table quickly. I like the fresh salsa with cilantro but they had a smoother kind in a little carafe. Chips were nice and warm. They have a vegetarian section. I ordered a veggie combo of a burrito, quesadilla and chalupa. It was your typical Mexican food. Filling and came out hot. Prices are reasonable. Fun and colorful decor and very clean restaurant. Bar area also with plenty of TVs. read more

This is my favorite place to eat at around here. Everything else in the area is so bland I'm so glad that I decided to try it out one day. Awesome customer service and the food is always hot and nice. Theres never a really long line so we always get seated pretty quickly and the food actually comes out pretty fast. Always a pleasant experience here. read more

Yummy! I had the pechuga de pollo, grilled chicken with onions and a cheese sauce. It also came with rice and beans. It was delicious! The waitstaff was also very polite and helpful with explaining what the various dishes were. I'll eat there again! read more

Mi Casita - Pechuga de pollo! - Mexican Near Me - Lillington, North Carolina

The food is really good here. I recommend the burrito mi casita. The staff is really nice here as well. The restaurant is clean and orderly and the service is fast. I would really like to see the dip (cheese, sour cream, etc.) in bigger dishes. Lets face it, with four plus people eating it, it is going to go way too fast. Over all great place to have lunch or dinner! read more

Mi Casita - The kids enjoying the chips and salsa. - Mexican Near Me - Lillington, North Carolina

We enjoyed Mi Casita's take-out. My mom ordered Combo Plate #15 (1 chalupa, 1 beef taco and 1 beef tostado with nacho cheese). Hubs ordered Combo Plate #3 (1 enchilada, 1 taco and 1 chile relleno). And I ordered veggie fajitas and chicken soup. Hubs and I agreed that the soup was the best thing we ordered. It was a bit spicy, a bit sour with nicely shredded chicken breast, rice and diced avocado. The soup also arrived with its very own half a lime for topping and garnish. Not necessary but a yummy add-in. We were given two lunch bags of warm tortilla chips as well as several tiny pots of salsa. Both fine. We ordered an extra side of guacamole and bean dip to share amongst the three of us. Good thing too. The guac was very fresh and very tasty, and the standard portion of guacamole salad served with the fajita meal was frankly insufficient for my taste. The bean dip was okay but not a highlight and arrived with a thick white cheese on top. Not my preference. All in all a pleasant if somewhat over-priced take-out experience in a small town where take-out options are limited. I would recommend and will probably visit again. read more

horrible customer service would NOT recommend and filthy. The need better cooks with better manners and hygiene. I was very disappointed.

It's a no for me. I can't say that I've ever been to a single Mi Casita and had a pleasant experience. It was actually an accident that I went to this location. I was invited and didn't realize this restaurant was part of the same gross chain where I encountered the standard hot plate cold food routine with meals that comes out as fast as they can microwave them. Needless to say, I won't be going back, and if you enjoy food that is appetizing and doesn't leave you with a bloated belly ache, you should avoid this restaurant as well. There are too many good places nearby to waste time with slop like this. Good sweet tea though, which was necessary to wash down the agony of self hate one must force themselves through when they endure an evening at any Mi Casita. read more

Horrible experience! My husband and I were craving Mexican food so were drove 30 minutes from Sanford. 1. The margarita tasted like cheap lime mix & I'm pretty sure there was no alcohol in it 2. My husband had a hair in his food 3. The beef in my burrito tasted like canned food 4. The chicken enchiladas had pounds of salt 5. The squirted sour cream & guacamole looked like prepackaged frozen condiments Overall, do not recommend! Don't waste your money. The only reason they even get a star is from having good ice. read more
